Construido en 2014, es un amplio apartamento con mucha luz y totalmente equipada. Se puede disfrutar de una piscina al aire libre, entre las 9h y 13h durante todo el año. Se encuentra cerca del casco antiguo de Funchal, donde se puede disfrutar de una variedad de restaurantes, ocio y turismo, así como el acceso a las diversas atracciones que ofrece la isla, ya 10 minutos del centro de la ciudad pie!.

Este es un nuevo y totalmente equipado, dos habitaciones (una doble y otra con dos camas individuales), un amplio salón (con sofá cama), y un balcón en todo el apartamento. Tiene una vista de la bahía de Funchal, que le dará el placer de ver uno de los más encantador entorno del sol, así como los fuegos artificiales en el Año Nuevo y junio en los jardines Festival del Atlántico de la luz de todo bahía.

Otra de sus ganancias es un garaje privado, y estar cerca de la ciudad y del casco antiguo, ofreciendo la paz y tranquilidad para unas magníficas vacaciones.

Tolle Stadtlage!

Die Ausgangslage zum Sparziergang in die Altstadt ist klasse. Wir haben die Unterkunft ausgewählt, da diese eine tollen Ausblick auf den Hafen und Funchal verspricht. Das Feuerwerk zu Silvester kann von hier aus super angeschaut werden. Für 6 Personen ist das Appartement allerdings von der Ausstattung der Küchenutensilien zu klein. Das ist keine wirkliche Kritik, nur ein Verbesserungsvorschlag, dass zum Beispiel ausreichend Tassen, Teller und Besteck vorhanden sein sollte, wenn man sich entscheidet zu sechst die Unterkunft zu mieten. Die Gastgeberin ist darüber hinaus super nett und kommunikativ! Toll und weiter so!

Lovely clean spacious apartment . Beatriz is very helpful. Loved watching the cruise ships coming in and out. Even had dip in the pool in February. Walking distance to town although up hill on way back which for us was a positive as we are now a lot fitter . Hope to return one day x

Alles sehr sehr gut

Hier stimmt wirklich alles, die Wohnung ist top. Es fehlte wirklich nichts. Miguel und Beatriz verstehen es ihre Gäste herzlich und freundschaftlich zu empfangen und zu unterhalten. Die vielen Tipps von Beatriz konnten wir nicht alle umsetzen, also werden wir wieder kommen müssen. Vielen Dank auch an Pauline, die unsere Wohnung in der Halbzeit auf Hochglanz gebracht hat. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten sich auf Madeira fortzubewegen, wir haben Bus und Taxi (Taxi vom Flughafen schon vorher gebucht ,beide Wege ca.40,00 Euro )vorgezogen und das hat auch sehr gut funktioniert. Funchal Innenstadt und Promenade kann man gut zu Fuß erreichen . Daran schließt sich auch direkt der Hafen an. Nochmals herzlichen Dank an Beatriz und Miguel wünschen Uschi, Mona-Marie & Helmut

Très bel appartement !

L'appartement correspond tout à fait à la description et aux photos de l'annonce. Il est neuf, grand, propre, et parfaitement situé pour profiter de Funchal. De plus il est à l'abri des bruits du centre ville. L'équipement est parfait et le Wi-Fi à très bien fonctionné. Une adresse à garder !!!

Wonderful apartment

This old town apartment was excellent. Wonderful views over Funchal, large airy rooms with everything you needed and all very clean. Beatriz was very helpful and most welcoming, there was a selection of basic food waiting for us including eggs from her chickens, which were delicious! The apartment was very quiet but only a 10 minute walk to the supermarket and the seafront. We would certainly recommend this apartment and look forward to staying there again.

Gorgeous apartment with amazing views, perfect location.

In October, my family stayed for 10 days in Funchal in this beautiful apartment. Very clean, well maintained. You can not beat the view! All of the essentials are there for you in the apartment. We had a 1 year old little girl and the playpen and high chair were set up for us when we arrived. The apartment was nice and open so the kids could play freely and watch the cruise ships and boats from the living room. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. The thing we loved the most was being able to use the garage. No driving around looking for a parking spot. We have family that live in Madeira, and for any of our future visits we will be staying here. It was perfect!

We loved it!

We had such a fabulous time staying in this wonderful apartment. Beatriz and her family made us feel instantly at home. The apartment is clean, spacious and has AMAZING views. It was such a comfort to come back to at the end of long days of whale watching and site seeing! We even got eggs from the family's own chickens (which were delicious). The location of this apartment is perfect too. Just a few minutes from restaurants, shops, everything you could possibly need. We did rent a car (the apartment had parking for us) but you could get by without. There is a bus route very close. We had a great time and would highly recommend!

Perfetto a Funchal!

Siamo stati a casa di Beatriz per un paio di settimane con una coppia di amici. L'appartamento dal vivo è ancora più bello che in foto, pulito, funzionale, arredato di tutto, con una splendida vista sulla città. La posizione è ottima per muoversi anche senza macchina (10 min a piedi dal centro), vicino alla città vecchia e anche a un attrezzato stabilimento balneare. Grazie Beatriz per la gentilezza e disponibilità con cui ci hai accolto!

Eine schöne Wohnung für einen schönen Urlaub

Wir fanden als Familie eine sehr schön eingerichtete und gut geschnittene Wohnung mit viel Platz und einem super Blick über Funchal vor. Alles, was die Familie im Urlaub so braucht, war vorhanden und kleine Probleme wurden schnellstmöglich behoben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und einen super Urlaub verbracht. Fantastischer Ausblick

Ein wunderbares Appartement mit fantastischem Blick auf den Hafen von Funchal. Sehr schön wenn morgens zum Frühstück ein Kreuzfahrtschiff einläuft. Das Appartement ist neu und sehr gut ausgestattet (vollständige Küche, Tiefgaragenplatz, kostenloses WLAN). Die Fotos geben die Einrichtung und den Ausblick gut wieder. Die Markthalle von Funchal ist in 15 Minuten, die Innenstadt in 20 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Als Standort für Ausflüge ist Funchal ideal, da viele Orte auf Madeira in akzeptabler Zeit zu erreichen sind. Ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne noch einmal wieder. Vielen Dank Beatriz!

What a pleasant stay!!

We stayed at this very very pleasant apartment for one week and can only say "Bravo Beatriz"! This apartment could not be more comfortable, everything (also the building itself) is brand new, spotless clean, equipped with more than is necessary and most of all we liked the gorgeous view from the terrasse over the harbour and the sea. Everything important for a tourist is within walking distance, buses, cablecar, harbour and lovely restaurants. And to top all this, when we arrived Beatrice's husband welcomed us with a loaf of bread that he just had baked himself (not at all his profession!) and there were fresh eggs, butter, fruit, coffee and other goodies to make us comfortable until we could do our own shopping! Incredible! Although the apartment is located so centrally we were not disturbed by anything at all, only a friendly cock in the neighbourhood said "good morning" to us, anyhow late in the morning for us because sun raises rather late in Madeira compared to our daylight time in Austria. Our next trip to Madeira is already planned and we will surely stay again at Carvalhal apartment. We can definitely recommend this apartment and thank Beatriz and her husband for the warm reception and care extended to us! See you soon Beatriz! Elfi and Silvia

Wonderful place

The apartment is great - it's spacious, with big windows, comfortable furniture, and a well-equipped kitchen. The best part however is the view of the ocean and city! Beatriz is an excellent host as well, and gave us some great recommendations of what to do on the island. We had a wonderful time here, would definitely recommend :)

Appartement agréable, spacieux et très propre

Cette appartement est très bien équipé. Nous nous y sommes sentis chez nous de suite. Les propriétaires sont charmants, ils nous ont déposé du pain frais (maison) et des œufs frais du jour, juste génial !! Un lit bébé nous a été gentiment proposé, pour améliorer notre séjour avec notre fille. Emplacement en plein centre de Funchal, IDEAL. Nous reviendrons !

Une location agréable

Nous tenons à remercier Beatriz pour son accueil (et les bonnes surprises à notre arrivée pain frais maison, œufs, lit bébé et livre pour les enfants) et ses conseils de visites malgré notre anglais modeste. Pour les touristes qui comme nous cherche à éviter la zone hôtelière et découvrir l'authenticité de Madère, l'appartement est idéalement placé à 15 minutes de la vieille ville, du téléphérique et du front de mer. Les points touristiques de Funchal sont donc accessibles à pied même pour nos filles de six ans. Le balcon offre une vue imprenable sur la baie. L'appartement neuf est spacieux et bien équipé. La place de garage permet de garer en toute sécurité la voiture de location. C'est avec plaisir que je recommande cet appartement et je n’hésiterai pas à revenir y séjourner.

Apartamento Fantástico, Soberbo

Apartamento no Funchal muito agradável e simpático e com uma localização excelente, perto da Zona Velha, supermercado bares e restaurantes. Com uma varanda ao longo do apartamento oferece uma vista soberba sobre a baia e todo o conforto de um moderno apartamento, toda equipada e com espaço quer nos quartos como na sala. Agradeço à Beatriz toda a disponibilidade demonstrada sempre que foi solicitada. Recomendo muito este apartamento pelo sossego, centralidade e conforto.

An excellent place

Basically, the apartment which Beatriz offered us was truely amazing, located in a perfect area – close to the hisorical and touristic centre. It was better in reality than in the photos which is a good thing in my opinion. It was very spacious, modern and bright. It has a balcony with beautiful view on the bay and ocean. The great advantage was that it had a garage. The equipment of the apartment is really wide-range. Starting with two coffee-machines, induction cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washing mashine, hair drayer and ending with the child seat for a little baby. There was nothing in the storage that we needed and wasn't there. There was even a lot of plastic containers so that we can stock a food in there! Beatriz is extremely friendly and helpful person. And she's really funny too! Every time we had a question she was able to help us. Summing up, if you wondering between choosing Beatriz's apartment and for example hotel, I recommend, from the bottom of my heart, to decide for her offer. Beatriz, thanks a lot for all!

Perfect apartment, perfect location

We enjoyed a 9 night stay at this wonderful apartment. Everything has been thought of, the apartment layout is great, everything is new, modern and comfortable with a high standard of finish. The balcony runs the length of the apartment and has fantastic views across the sea, the harbour and Funchal. We enjoyed watching the cruise ships arriving and leaving. The owners live next door and are extremely helpful, yet the apartment is very private and seperate from where the owners live so you don't feel as if you are in their space. We have stayed in Funchal before and are so glad we found this apartment because the location is perfect. It's worth knowing that the apartment is on a steep hill (as you can expect with Funchal!) but this did not stop us from walking everywhere. Just a 10 minute walk to the old town, sea front, restaurants, bars and cable car up to Monte. The parking garage was very useful, it was good to have a parking space. We couldn't think of a better place to stay, we highly recommend staying at this apartment and we will definitely stay again next time we are in Madeira.

Perfect location with outstanding view

If you are looking for a place -away from Funchal's modern hotel zone -in easy walking distance to Zona Velha and its attractions, -in comfortable walking distance to the city center and its sights, supermarkets,shops,restaurants etc. but with very good bus connections if you should feel too tried on the way back, -with a terrace along the whole seaside front of the apartment with a marvelous view on the harbor and sea , as well as the city, -with all the comforts of a brand new, well- designed, spacious apartment, - with a lovely, helpful owner living right next door ( we even got a starter supply of eggs fresh from their own chicken and bread freshly baked by Beatriz' husband! ) Then Funchal Old Town Carvalhal Holiday Rental is the place for you. FANTASTIC apartment with a perfect view !!!

My girlfriend and me stayed from 29th of December 2014 until 02nd of January 2015 and had an amazing time in the apartment. This new apartment has two nice bedrooms (one with an amazing seaview of the harbour and the cruise ships), two bathrooms, a huge living-room, a fully equipped kitchen, a small room with a washing-machine and a balcony along the whole seaside of the apartment, which can be entered from every "seaside-room" (kitchen, living-room, bedroom). WIFI and a parking garage is included !!! If you want to see Funchals famous fireworks on New Year's Eve, it's the best place to be !!! The very friendly and helpful owners live next door, so if there are any questions regarding the apartment or if you're searching for nice places in Funchal or daytrips on the island, you'll get a quick answer ! :-) ...to keep it short: It's a perfekt apartment !!! Outstanding apartment in Funchal

This is a new two bedroom apartment to the east of the old town and a 10 - 15 minute walk away from the shops, restaurants and sea front. One MAJOR bonus is the terrace which provides a brilliant view across the sea and the town where you can sit and take breakfast or watch the sunset. The rooms are all good sized, clean, bright and comfortable. We (3 adults) stayed over Christmas 2014, were the very first guests and found the property convenient for walking into Funchal but far enough away to be quiet. It is also well situated for departing the town and exploring the rest of the island. The owners live next door and we found them to be very friendly and helpful - you just need to ask if you need anything. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment as it provided everything we wanted. Just a small point to note is that it is situated on quite a steep hill, but that's what gets you the lovely views.
