Great location with good views and easy access to Centre of Mijas although quite a steep walk. Accommodation clean, well furnished and space worked really well for four people.
A lovely apartment in a quiet residential block. Well placed with just a short walk to the centre of the village. The apartment is well equipped with everything you may need. We had a lovely week thank you.
We had a lovey stay at this apartment it is a lovely clean and comfortable. It also has all the a beautiful view from the balcony.
Great apartment and very clean on arrival. Think the beds could do with replacing unless you like sleeping on rock hard mattresses.
Very nice location although it would have been better if we’d been advised it was sited at the bottom of a steep hill. Excellent holiday otherwise. Guido the owner was very good. Thank you for our stay.
We had a lovely 5 night stay in this charming apartment, it was perfect for us and our 2 children, great location only a 5/10 minute stroll (up hill) to mijas centre, and all it’s wonderful shops / bars / restaurants etc. And only a 15 minute bus ride down to Fuengirola centre very regular and easy to do.
Guido was a great host answering all questions quickly, we will be back x
The Lew Hoad tennis centre is about 3kms away and anyone can join in club sessions. Golf is not my game but there are several courses within easy reach. There is a very good tourist office in the village, a gym, a fresh food market and several small but very interesting museums. We have provided detailed information in the flat about eateries and cafes etc. Malaga City is a historical location that you must visit if time allows.

Our names are Guido and Valerie and we are the joint owners of this property, purchased in November 2017. When we retired from our careers in higher education and training we looked up and down the Costa del Sol for a place to spend some quality time in and eventually found the superb village of Mijas Pueblo with its authentic Andalusian atmosphere and terrific coastal views. We have two daughters and our main home is in west London where we have lived since 1981. Originally we hail from Lancashire. All of us will be taking short breaks here during the year but we are also keen to rent to guests who are as enthusiastic about southern Spain as we are. Rental prices change according to the season and the amount of time you want to spend here. Why GUIDO chose Mijas Pueblo
It is located in a scenic and quiet neighbourhood on the fringe of the village where there is easy car parking space and no intrusions from itinerant tourist groups. Yet the central areas with their many facilities, shops and bars, bullring, concert ampitheatre, churches, market, etc can be reached within 4/5 minutes walk. A car will come in useful if you wish to explore further afield but is not essential as the bus service is very good. The nearest blue flag beach is at Fuengirola which is about 10/15 minutes drive away. The train link to Malaga Airport and Malaga City is also accessed in Fuengirola where you will also find night clubs, department stores, beach restaurants and nightclubs.
What makes this Apartment unique
We find the air quality in Mijas exceptionally good and we never tire of the views from our south facing balcony. It is a joy just to sit there with a drink and read. Of course the sunshine and vast blue canopy of sky make this a wonderful place to relax at any time of year. If you like walking this is the perfect countryside for you. Tennis, watersports and golf are all available close-by as too are numerous restaurants and tapas bars.
