Villa Clara

VILLA CLARA is an antique stone farmhouse and villa with a private swimming pool on the rolling hills of Lucca. It has been built in the 19th Century and is located on the surrounding hills of Lucca, in 12 kms from the city centre and the Walls (10 to 15 mins by car). The villa has a 12x6 metres pool, an outdoor dining area facing the pool fully equipped with american refrigerator and ice maker, dishwasher, gas stove and a wide selection of cooking utensils plus a living area with sofas under a veranda just in front ofthe pool and the garden.

INTERIORS:

On the GROUND FLOOR: 3 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with 3 built in showers, and a living room with TV and french windows overlooking the garden.

On THE MAIN FLOOR: an indoor fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining room to seat 12 guests, another living room with TV and a french windows overlooking the garden, 2 bedrooms (1 of which with 2 twin beds) and 1 bathroom with a built in shower.

Air conditioning is provided in each single room, a very reliable wifi connection provided by the national phone company it is provided, sat tv and private parking inside the property. The Villa is located within a walking distance from restaurant and shops.

Lovely accommodations in a small village

Beautiful property with comfortable beds and impeccably kept both inside and outside. Our family was able to properly relax and decompress at Villa Clara after long sightseeing days to nearby attractions. The property manager was in communication if needed but we didn’t have any issues!

Fantastic stay at Villa Clara

We had a wonderful stay at the villa with a group of 10 people. The villa itself is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable, set in a stunning and peaceful location. The surrounding nature made our experience even more special. Filippo was an excellent host—very friendly, helpful, and always available when we needed something. A Beautiful Place to Stay

Villa Clara was beautifully appointed, with all the comforts of home. We especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and pool area. The grounds were very well-maintained and we loved the quiet setting in the countryside. The host was very responsive and communication was excellent. It was great to have air conditioning units in all the rooms, although the operating instructions were a little difficult to figure out.

Storybook Stay in Tuscany

The location is fantastic. The setting is beautiful. The house is convenient to train stations, and an easy drive to many nearby cities and local attractions and some excellent wineries. The house is beautiful and well-maintained. The outdoor kitchen is amazing; we spent a great deal of time there together cooking, eating and drinking excellent wine. We will definitely be headed back.

Wonderful Villa Clara

Our party of 6 adults truly enjoyed the beauty of the Villa. The privacy was wonderful as well as the views to the hills with the church. The recommended chef was not available during our stay, however Luigi found another chef for us to use and he was wonderful. There is nothing better than the beauty of the Tuscan region along with the food and friendly Italian people we were able to meet. Thank you again for a great vacation in Tuscany!

Amazing Villa ,wonderful Host

We were so fortunate to spend 6 weeks at Villa Clara in June /July 2023 .The villa is exceptional ,we particularly enjoyed the outside kitchen and the fabulous pool.There are 2 reasonably priced restaurants and a bar within walking distance , and the bus stop for buses to Lucca and Pontedera . Luigi and his team were so helpful and did everything they could to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We can’t recommend this villa enough .

Exceeded our expectations

We stayed at Villa Lucca from the 1st to the 15th July. We had a wonderful stay and the villa was perfect for a family of 10. Great outdoor space in particular the outdoor kitchen. Pool was large in size and the grounds were immaculate. Couldn’t recommend this villa enough and a massive thank you to Luigi who took care of the villa and was always so friendly and helpful.

A beautiful Italian villa! Highly recommended

The villa was luxurious and immaculately decorated to a high standard. The pool and outside kitchen area was fabulous. The owner Luigi was so friendly and welcoming and we would not hesitate to recommend this villa to our friends and family. The only thing I would suggest is to have a table and chairs situated outside in the pool area so guests can have coffee/drinks outside, whilst enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Amazing family experience

The villa is just like the pictures only better. It is in the scenic hills of Tuscany and within easy distance to Lucca, Pisa, and Florence. The countryside is gorgeous.We spent nearly all of our time at the outdoor kitchen and pool area. It has plenty of room and all the amenities you could need. We spent hours in the pool and enjoyed many meals there; it was the perfect space to make family memories.Luggi is amazing and took great care of the villa and of us. He was never intrusive but just made everything worry-free and enjoyable.One of the highlights of the trip was having a local chef come prepare a meal for us. Everything was delicious.We highly recommend Villa Clara.

Tuscan Escape

We arrived at Villa Clare to a very warm welcome from Filippo and Luigi. From that moment on we had a specularly happy vacation. The Villa is more beautiful than in the photographs.We spent the majority of waking hours at the pool by the fantastic outdoor kitchen dining area. Everything during our week was perfect.Very nice restaurant 5 minutes walk away and supermarket 10 minutes by car. Lucca 20 mins, Pisa airport 30 mins. The communication from the team at lucca apartments and villas was as always excellent and Filippo was in touch a week before we arrived to check any requirements we had. We would highly recommend the Villas and as evidence we are returning for 10 days in September.

We plan to return!

The interior of this villa is stunning and completely updated . We lived in the covered outdoor dining and kitchen. The view to the back of property very pretty. The owner is fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. Only issue was with address and finding the villa. Confirm exact directions and/or meeting place.

Villa Clara was amazing. It was ever better than we expected. The Villa was clean and comfortable. The grounds were stunning. There was a group of 8 of us staying at the Villa for 10 days and we all loved it. Villa Clara is centrally located so it was easy to travel to different parts of Tuscany. Luigi was extremely helpful and nice. I highly recommend this villa. I would have more basic items in the villa like salt and pepper, extra toilet paper and paper towels

Relaxing and gorgeous

This was a gorgeous house but the outdoor dining area and pool made our stay! The house was very clean and the details like the tile floors and frescos on the ceiling were absolutely beautiful. The outdoor dining area was amazing for a large group and we spent 90% of our time outside. Although the location is about 20 minutes from downtown Lucca it was great to be in the countryside and there was a great market 8 minutes away. Our only complaint was that the pillows were very flat and hard which made sleeping uncomfortable. This seems to be common in Italy however! Out entire group loved their stay and we would definitely do it again.

Wonderful week in a beautiful villa

The villa is beautifully decorated and restored. The rooms are big and have air conditioning. Wonderful outside space with pool, outdoor kitchen area and gardens. Private and quiet. Great location - close to airport and towns, and only an hour from the coast or Florence. Lots of thought has gone into all aspects by the owner. The service we received was brilliant from start to finish. We would definitely recommend and return. Thank you Filippo and Luigi for everything. It’s very hard to think of anything to add as a lot of thought has gone into what you might need when on holiday at the villa. The only thing I could think of that could be helpful for families would be some plastic plates/cups for any smaller children to use. But as we’re used to travelling with a toddler we had brought our own anyway. And maybe some larger reusable plastic cups/glasses in the outdoor kitchen for drinks by the pool. Just to reduce the risk of any breakages.

Tuscan Paradise

From the moment you enter the estate through the gates you're welcomed into a Tuscan getaway like that of the movies. The grounds are immaculate and attention has been paid to every leaf, bud and stem. A pool to cool off in, outside dinning with all the amenities including fridge and oven. Inside the house meets every expectation with beautiful and comfortable furniture along with gracious materials. In an ideal, rustic setting of sorts keeps you feeling private and safe. Easy to explore the countryside, we made many day trips while knowing we were coming home the estate. Include more necessities, like that of a hotel. It was odd that we needed to go get toilet paper and paper towels, salt and pepper and some basics that could have been provided easily.

We plan to return!

This is a beautiful Villa with enough space to comfortably accommodate 8-10 persons. True highlight was the outdoor kitchen with roof and it fast became a place where we spent most of the time. Nearby is the comfortable Lounge which invites for an evening drink. All rooms had air conditioning and were nicely furnished. Also the outdoor and pool area is presented in a beautiful and well maintained way. The owner Luigi is a friendly and a pleasant host who is taking care for the needs of his guests. He daily cleaned the pool and took care of garbage, without disturbing us. As well Villa was fully cleaned once per week. Luigi supported us with all questions we had and was ensuring truly personal approach. We can recommend to ask him for the delicious homemade olive oil. Overall we spent a perfect time here without any negative impressions and truly looking to come back!

A Little Bit of Paradise

We absolutely loved staying at Villa Clara. The rooms are all a good size and having two kitchens was fabulous as it was getting a bit cool while we were in Italy. The grounds are amazing and Luigi the owner was always on site in the mornings cleaning the pool and maintaining the property. Three of us spoke Italian and he was more than happy to chat and talk about the property, us, him and life in general. He couldn't have made us more welcome if he tried. Filippo, the House Manager was on site to gain access and went out of his way to help us as we arrived a bit early. He also gave us a lot of information on where to go, what to do and where to shop. While a lot of information is provided in the V/C app, but it was nice to actually speak with a local. Depending on traffic, it was a 20 minute drive to Lucca, just on an hour to Florence and just a bit more to San Gimignano so the location of the Villa is perfect. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Tuscany and we would definitely return. Nothing. We had no complaints whatsoever.

Een waanzinnige plek

De villa is prachtig en de plek waar hij is op een fijne plek gebouwd. We hebben een fantastische week gehad met een bezoek aan wat mij betreft een geweldige stad Lucca waar vriendelijkheid en schoonheid hand in hand gaan. Eigenlijk is alles in en rondom de villa geweldig. Misschien is 1 bed toe aan vervanging en wij Nederlanders hadden graag een nespresso koffiemachine gehad maar nogmaals dit deed niets af aan onze vakantie.

Toskana dream

Lage, Sauberkeit und Ausstattung waren sehr gut!… der Aussenbereich, der schoene Olivengarten und Pool so wie man es sich in der Toskana vorstellt!Der freundliche Vermieter war fast täglich da und hat sich um den Pool, Garten, Abfall oder Sonstiges gekümmert! Leider ist das Anwesen aber nur im Sommer zu genießen!… wir waren Mitte Oktober dort und die 3 Schlafzimmer im Untergeschoss und Bäder rochen feucht und muffig!.. die Handtücher wurden nie trocken und man konnte keine Fenster aufmachen , da sonst sehr viele “ ungebetene Gaeste “ im Zimmer waren. Die Zimmer sind alle sehr sauber und geschmackvoll!

Lucca Vacation

Die Villa in den Hügeln von Lucca ist wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Sommerküche ist grossartig, ebenso der Swimmingpool mit der grossartigen Gartenanlage. Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt. Wir haben eine unvergessliche Woche mit Freunden in der Villa verbracht. Ein grosses Dankeschön an die sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Gastgeber. Die Stühle in der Sommerküche sind zu niedrig für den Tisch. Es fehlt eine Anleitung für den Gebrauch des TV's und wie man die gewünschten Sender findet. Ein kleiner Tisch mit 2 Stühlen unter einem Olivenbaum - das wäre grossartig.
