We loved your charming apartment - great place for a Salida get-away. ArtWalk was fun and the local restaurants (Amica's, Dakota's and Bongo Billy's) were all good. The little book of wildflower hikes was very helpful. We saw a lot of beautiful flowers.

Warm and inviting Condo near the Arkansas

We are already talking about scheduling a return to this wonderfully restored and beautifully maintained condo in Salida just 1/2 block from the Arkansas River. We like to cook and enjoyed the grill and deck in the yard with great birdwatching and lovely views of surrounding hills. Dan Schmidt went above and beyond to make sure our needs were taken care of. Dan was highly responsive to questions about hiking, restaurants, and anything we came up with.

Dan's condo is spotlessly clean and decorated with just the right touches to complement his historical renovation. We enjoyed Amica's the Boathouse, and take out from Sweeties Sandwich shop. Scanga's a local retail meat house had a nice selection of burgers and other meat for grilling.

A warm and inviting condo to relax in near the Arkansas with a super Owner/Manager. You are in for a treat.

We look forward to next time.

Great condo and location!

Awesome place for us! My wife and I were very comfortable and enjoyed having our 2 dogs with us. I ventured out skiing at Monarch and we enjoyed hanging around Main Street which is 2 small blocks away. We will be back in the summer and hopefully we can stay here again! The condo was very clean, updated, and well cared for!

Lovely 2-bedroom condo in a great location in Salida. I was able to park my car for the week and walk or bike to anywhere in Salida. The condo is beautiful, very quiet and very clean! I would highly recommend this condo!

Very close to the historic downtown, the Arkansas River and all the trails just across from the F Street Bridge. You are just a block from Riverside Park (location of several festivals) and 5 blocks from Alpine Park (location of the Saturday Farmers' Market and other events). Enjoy the small town atmosphere and all that Salida offers from this very convenient location - Trail Running, Road or Mountain Biking, River Sports, Fishing, Historic Sights, Hot Springs, Festivals, Live Music, Coffee Shops, Restaurants, Local Wines, Beer and Spirits, etc.
