We loved your charming apartment - great place for a Salida get-away. ArtWalk was fun and the local restaurants (Amica's, Dakota's and Bongo Billy's) were all good. The little book of wildflower hikes was very helpful. We saw a lot of beautiful flowers.

This well-appointed condo was perfect for our needs. Very clean and well designed, it was a perfect location for walking in to shops and restaurants in town or a 20 minute drive to ski at Monarch. We will stay again!

Great location, great unit, great outdoor space & GREAT host!

We loved our long weekend in Salida and having a cozy, roomy, nice place to stay in town made our visit fantastic. Dan and his wife were very responsive and checked on us periodically. The property itself was better than expected, high ceilings and newly remodeled we'll be back soon! Plus you can't beat the killer location, just off the river and main street. We walked to dinner every night and straight to S mountain our final morning.

Council Bluffs

Our new home away from home. Our dogs had a blast!

Dan is very welcoming and made sure we knew all the events going on around town. The condo had all the essentials for our week in the mountains. Was very clean and quiet (except when our pups were wrestling in the back yard). Only a block away from the city park and not much further to the river crossing with direct access to 'S' mountain. We spent our mornings exploring the local trails with our dogs. Once they were sufficiently worn out we dropped them off back at the place and off to the bike trails for us in the afternoon. We also enjoy finishing the day at a microbrew and the Salida / Poncha Springs area does not disappoint. Definitely consider this for your next get-away! (oh, and great bike shops too!)

Beautifully renovated brownstone centrally located in Salida.

I had a great experience on my long weekend vacation. The property is beautiful inside and out and very well located - just a block or so to the closest restaurants. The interior was simply but tastfully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything I needed. The beds were comfortable and the linens were well stocked. Dan was a great host and responded quickly to emails and was available at check-in. I'm sure I will be back.

Car: not necessary

Very close to the historic downtown, the Arkansas River and all the trails just across from the F Street Bridge. You are just a block from Riverside Park (location of several festivals) and 5 blocks from Alpine Park (location of the Saturday Farmers' Market and other events). Enjoy the small town atmosphere and all that Salida offers from this very convenient location - Trail Running, Road or Mountain Biking, River Sports, Fishing, Historic Sights, Hot Springs, Festivals, Live Music, Coffee Shops, Restaurants, Local Wines, Beer and Spirits, etc.
