Our charming one bedroom apartment,which has been rated 4 star by Etoiles de France, the ufficial French Tourist Board, (and they check absolutely everything, includind crockery, utensiles,linens, pillows, etc.) has two terraces with stunning views of Marina Baie des Anges, and the Mediterranean towards Nice, and tranquil views of the park at the back. It is fully air conditioned, has Wi-Fi, satelite TV, private parking, is in a gated community with a large swimming pool, beautiful gardens, and a tennis court, just a 10 minute walk from the Mediterranean. Sleeps 3 adults, with one bedroom, and a comfortable pull down bed in the lounge. The train station and bus stop are less than a ten minute's walk. The charming old town of Antibes, is a five minute drive, with it's typical covered Provençal market, lovely beaches, great restaurants and, of course, the Picasso museum. Nice is about a 20 minute drive, Cannes about a 30 mins, it is in an ideal position for exploring the famous towns along the coast, from Monaco to Cannes, Villefranche, Beaulieu, Roquebrune, and Eze, or inland to one of the delightful Provençal villages, such as Valbonne, Biot, St Paul de Vence, for a quiet lunch, or further afield the Gorges du Loup, or Italy. There are also many museums including the Matisse chapel, the casino at Monte-Carlo, a beautiful landscaped outdoors shopping mall, and another indoors one, both just a few minutes drive away. If you’re a tennis fan you can hop on a train which will take you right into the Monte Carlo Country Club for the Rolex Masters, or to Monaco for the F1 race. So there’s plenty to do whatever season you choose to visit this beautiful, and glamorous part of the world. Although everything is within easy reach, the residence is beside the Vaugrenier Park, so a wonderfully calm retreat at the end of a busy day.

Fabulous Stay!

We had a marvellous few days in Donne’s beautiful apartment. It was very clean and comfortable and the pool was an added bonus! Close to the station, beach and a supermarket it is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday!

We had a comfortable stay in Villeneuve Loubet and could discover a lot and also relax. The habit was spacious and orderly. The check in and check out was absolutely uncomplicated. The nice matured lady rent the property provided us with delicious amuse geul. We would like to come again

A great choice!

From the moment of our arrival, the charming host was so helpful and pleasant. The comfortable apartment is very well-equipped and maintained to a very high standard. The two balconies are spacious with lovely views and the on-site pool area is a great suntrap. This delightful property is a wonderful location, perfectly situated for visiting multiple areas of interest in the region. We hope to return, the sooner the better!

Petit quiproquo pour trouver la location. Les coordonnées GPS serait très utiles. L'appartement sont conformes à la description ainsi que les photos. La résidence privée (le parc, la piscine, ainsi que plantations sont splendides et entretenues régulièrement. Malheureusement, la connexion wifi est à améliorer. Un deuxième jeu de clés serait le bien venu. Pour le reste, la propriétaire est très discrète. Si l'occasion se présente nous reviendrons certainement.

Gut geschnittene FeWo, besonders bei Reisen mit Hund

Die Eigentümerin des Appartements, Donne Henderson, ist eine absolut sympathische, freundliche in jeder Weise hilfsbereite englische Lady. Das Appartement, im 2. Stock der gut gepflegten, geschützten, schön begrünten Anlage, ist top geschnitten. Der Hauptbalkon mit Blick auf's Mittelmeer, seitlich auf schneebedeckte Alpen liegt in einer Nord-/Ostachse, so daß zum Frühstück Sonne da ist. Hinterer Balkon, direkt an Küche, bringt die Nachmittag/Abendsonne mit Blick auf Garten und Park. Unsere Hündin hatte es leicht. Durch Gartentor gelangt man zuerst auf eine Wiese, überquert diese, geht bewaldeten Hang hinunter, erreicht so riesigen Naturpark Top für den Hund. Wir waren Mitte Februar für 2 Wochen hier. Eine Zeit, in der es recht kalt war (9 - 12°C) und es auch mal Regen gab. Grundsätzlich kein Problem - wenn nicht die Dusche wäre. Die alten Leitungen sind ziemlich verkalkt, es dauert ein paar Minuten bis heißes Wasser kommt. So hatten wir die Einweisung von Donne auch verstanden. Leider kam in der Menge nicht genügend an, so daß immer nur einer und kurz, duschen konnte. Im Sommer macht das nichts, jedoch bei den Temperaturen ist das wichtig. Weitere Empfehlung: es fehlt eine Garderobe im Flur, gegenüber d. Küche. Es gibt eine mit Kleiderbügeln ausgestattete, verschließbare Garderobe gegenüber des Gäste-WC. Kommt man mit nasser Kleidung rein, wird das schwierig. Ansonsten können wir die FeWo und Donne Henderson wirklich weiterempfehlen.

Thank you for your review, and I will have some coat hooks put up in the hall. Perhaps you could have hung your coats in the bathroom or toilet, or on the covered terrace outside the kitchen until they were dry. You were very unlucky with the weather there were far more rainy days than normal, and of course a hot shower is a necessity. As I told you, in the winter you should keep the tap on full hot, and it does take a few moments for hot water to get to the bathroom but there is a gas boiler which gives constant hot water, and it should have done just that and given you constant hot water. I’m very sorry that you had this problem, but you did not tell me about this until you were leaving which didn’t give me the opportunity to have it fixed. It took only a few minutes to fix, and could easily have been done while you were here. We hope to welcome you again in the near future.

Ein fast autofreier Urlaub

Sehr schöne saubere Wohnung in einer sehr gepflegten Wohnanlage mit einem sehr schönen großen Pool. Alles wie in der Beschreibung angegeben. Donne ist eine sehr liebenswürdige und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, sie war für Fragen jederzeit erreichbar. Durch den nahegelegenen Bahnhof (ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß) haben wir fast alle Ausflüge mit der Bahn unternommen (von Cannes bis Ventimiglia), was sehr stressfrei und angenehm war. Der Strand ist nicht weiter als der Bahnhof entfernt. Weitere sehr schöne Strände sind auch mit der Bahn zu erreichen. Alles in Allem ein sehr erholsamer und entspannter Urlaub. Vielen Dank Donne!

Erholsame Tage in Villeneuve-Loubet

Der Empfang, war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Das Objekt ist seinen Preis wert. Man sollte aber nicht ohne Auto hier Urlaub machen, da die Lage etwas von den Stränden und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten weiter weg ist.

I’m glad that you enjoyed our apartment although obviously there was something that was not what you expected. We do say clearly that it’s beside a park, and a very quiet location so it is not in a town, although there is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away, the sea is 500 meters as the crow flies, and an iconic marina with shops and restaurants is a 10 minutes drive. We do have several clients who come regularly and don’t have a car because there are busses and trains at most a 10 minute walk away.

Superausgestattete Wohnung in wunderschönem Residenz-Garten

Donne hat uns superfreundlich empfangen und uns verwöhnt. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, liegt sehr ruhig und dennoch nah an allem. Die zwei Balkone bieten einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer oder ins Grüne. Es fehlt an gar nichts, wir haben eine titop ausgestattete Wohnung vorgefunden! Die Gastgeberin hat unglaublich viele Unterlagen mit Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants, etc. gesammelt und aufgelegt. Sehr hilfreich. Unsere Woche war “fantastique” und wir würden liebend gern wieder hinfahren 😊! Merci beaucoup, chère Donne 🌻

Schöne, sichere Anlage, schönes appartent

Die Anlage sehr gepflegt, toller Pool. schönes appartment: 2 Terrassen (immer 1 schattig), gut ausgestattete küche, gutes Bett- aller voll ok! ABER: Der Weg zum kieseligen schmalen Strand (kein Sand!) beträgt zu fuss nicht, wie von einer vorigen Beurteilung beschrieben, 10 Minuten, sondern 25 (und das in einer echt hässlichen gewerbegebiet/ bauruinengegend). Wir waren nur 2x. Dagegen ein Highlight der direkt neben der Residenz angrenzende riesige Naturpark!!! toll!!

Thank you Astrid for your kind words about our apartment, and the park.. I don’t know which beach you went to, and I’m truly sorry that you didn’t mention this when you were here, as with my local knowledge I could have suggested a sandy beach. The nearest beach is pebbles, it is a 10 minute walk for me, 9 for Google, and perhaps 15 if you go slowly. There are no ruins, and the nearby commercial area is the Marina Baie des Ange with it’s iconic buildings which is certainly not ugly.

I am Scottish, but lived most of my life in Italy, and now in France. I travelled all over the world on business, but now that I have retired I love living here in the South of France. Having an apartment which I rent to friends and others is wonderful, as it gives me the oportunity to meet lots of interesting people, and share my local knowledge with the guests.

Why they chose this property

I used to holiday in these apartments, so when they were put up for sale I decided it would be the perfect place to live. It is right in the centre of the riviera, the beach, bus and train and a supermarket are all within a five minute walk, but although it's so central, it is on the edge of the Vaugrenier Park, so very quiet and peaceful.

What makes this property unique

This apartment is in a beautiful gated residence, on the edge of the Park Vaurenier, so although it is very conveniently positioned for everything, it is very quiet and peaceful, with a wonderful pool, tennis court, and gorgeous grounds.
