Why Paul Smethurst chose Bedugul
The villa was bought by the owners as a cool retreat from their main home in South Bali - we come to enjoy the cool fresh air and unique environment, and to stock up on local coffee, vegetables, fruit and plants from the botanical gardens. Ideal for those looking for a quiet and peaceful short break or as second base for a larger tour of Bali. The house is popular with local expats who book it up most weekends at short notice, so for a longer stay, you need to book a few weeks in advance.
What makes this Villa unique
Cool mountain air, ideal base for trekking or exploring this unique area of mountains and waterfalls, taking wooden canoes on the lakes, canyoning and visiting coffee, clove and other spice plantations.
