Two minutes walk from Ladbroke Grove station [ Circle line and Hammersmith & City line ] it is a tranquil place to stay near the hubbub of the Portobello Road and Notting Hill area with your choice of bohemian and culturally diverse restaurants and bars. You can run the full gamut from charming local cafes and street food market in Golborne Road, Galicia my favourite where you are transported to Spain without taking the flight - to the Electric, through Lisa's with jazz guitar on Thursday evenings and finally Richard Caring's Pizza East. Stroll through the Portobello Antique market on Saturday and explore the charms of Notting Hill and West London.
Bassett Road and the building are a quiet oasis in a vibrant district - the apartment does not suit party animals :)
The apartment has wall to wall Nantucket cupboards in the bedroom. With a little agility required to negotiate the windowsill - as seen in the photographs - you can enjoy a coffee on the diminutive balcony in the sunshine before venturing out to explore the area.
The apartment is not suitable for children, toddlers or babies.
The kitchen has a fridge with separate freezer, washer/dryer, oven hob and extractor, microwave, electric smoothie maker and electric kettle.
Heating is controlled by a NEST thermostat.
When rented for more than 10 days - my cleaner will attend the property for approx. 2 hours per week, after the first week, inc changing sheets & towels, at an additional cost of £60

The Neighbourhood Ladbroke Grove has a thriving local community - there are many small independent shops and amazingly diverse restaurants. With the Portobello and Golborne Road markets the area has a bohemian and friendly atmosphere where you can browse the antique shops, stop for coffee in an endless number of small cafes or enjoy Tapas at the local Spanish restaurant.
I recommend inexpensive taxi companies from both Heathrow and Gatwick - ensuring a stress free arrival :)
I would suggest you acquire a local SIM card I recommend GiffGaff. You can then download CityMapper for Public Transport and the Taxi APP - UBER

This place was absolutely beautiful. Great location and wonderful to relax after a day in the city. Close to the underground and to the market. Would stay here again.

A perfect little one bedroom apartment, tastefully decorated and well equipped on a wonderful quiet street in Notting Hill. Really enjoyed our stay! The owner Caz was very nice and very easy to work with.
Beautiful tree lined street. Even the view at the back was lovely. Really nice flat with high ceilings and large windows. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Wanted a place away from the tourist areas, as this was my 5th or 6th trip to London. Clean, comfortable apartment in a local neighborhood. Easy access to the Tube to all parts of London. Enjoyed a great stay.

A delightful little flat, with everything one needs, on edge of energy of Portobello and Westbourne Rd. Literally steps to Tube and the Market, shops and restaurants of Westbourne, but quiet and elegant.
Well decorated, spacious, very close to transportation. Never met owner who was I'll but stayed in communication answered all questions promptly. Would definitely stay again.
Very cute flat in an adorable neighborhood. Great little shops and restaurants nearby. The property was very clean and spacious. Caz communicated promptly and was very proactive which put our mind at ease. She was a dream to work with especially when we had questions.
I spent a month at this property and it was wonderful. Well-appointed, great location on a quiet street, easy access to transport, shops and dining. Caz, the property manager, is a great communicator and made sure everything was going fine with the property. If you’re looking for a place, this property is perfect for 1-2 people.

Caz is great …. Very hospitable! The place was the perfect size and the neighborhood is both safe and comfortable to walk around even in the late night. Awesome restaurants within walking distance. All in all the place is clean comfortable and Caz has turned into a friend. Highly recommend!
Stayed here five years ago and it was such a good place we just had to come back. Excellent apartment. Everything was as good as last tiime. Would recommend to anyone. Only ten minute walk to catch the train that takes you anywhere..

The flat is very convenient to Ladbroke Grove Tube and easy walking distance to Portobello Road. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the neighborhood is quiet. Bed is comfortable. There is a tiny porch which was nice to have on a sunny day. Highly recommend.
The property is situated in a convenient location, with public transportation and supermarket nearby. Portobello Market, Notting Hill Gate & Holland Park area are within walking distance. The flat is quiet, clean with all the necessary facilities. The host is responsive and helpful. There's a bus stop very close by and quite often I take the bus instead, especially at night.
We stayed 8 nights in this London apartment while visiting family. The location is quiet and close to grocery stores and the Ladbroke Grove tube station. We ate dinner at many of the nearby restaurants on Portobello Road. The bed and living area were comfortable. If there was anything I would wish for it would be a larger French press coffee pot or Kuerig for making coffee. Even though there is no A/C, we found the apartment to be cool enough for sleeping at night. There is a small fan in the bedroom.

Occasionally an apartment is available for guests - it is a fabulous alternative to an hotel with the opportunity to enjoy a real neighbourhood experience - when not let one apartment gives me the chance to practice the saxophone to my hearts content - very quiet until I start! :)

This is a 'happy' house and the area brings to mind Armistead Maupin's 'Tales of the City'. The apartment is in one of the grand houses of Bassett Road and is a peaceful oasis in a bohemian area :)
