Renovated environment with independent entrance on the 3rd and last pine tree of a quiet building ideal for 1 or 2 people consisting of a double bedroom with wooden bed, small wardrobe, LCD TV, n. 1 small bathroom with sink, bidet, toilet, shower and hairdryer, monobloc kitchenette with n. 2 hotplates, fridge, small sink and all you need to be able to prepare a breakfast. Air-conditioned and heated with radiant elements, free wi-fi. Excellent location to discover the beauties of Lucca !!!!
Both this studio and the attic apartment (Homeaway N. 8522071) are located on the same landing both with independent entrance but with the possibility of being able to accommodate n. 6 people. Available for all your requests for further information.

Love the location extremely convenient to all the wonderful sights, restaurants, bakery, shopping and laundromat. Apartment, more like a studio, had lots of character, was very compact, better for a young single person or young couple. As seniors the 3 flights of stairs were difficult especially with luggage. Refrigerator kept waking up my husband during the night and birds woke us up early in the morning. Bed is extra firm.

Thank you for leaving a review. I'm sorry you gave it a low rating. Perhaps you didn't read the description carefully, as it clearly states that it's just a room with a bathroom located in a third-floor building with a window overlooking the garden of a historic villa.

I had a great stay here. It was in a nice quiet area, and a good walking distance to a lot of landmarks. The room included a very thorough book with local recommendations and tips which was super helpful!

The hosts are amazing. Great communication!!! This studio was perfect for us and our needs. Great location. Walking distance to anything you may need. 15 minute walk to the train station. We would definitely come back!

Nice little place!

Nice little set up bathroom kitchette and bed. Three flights up but easy climb. On the edge of Lucca walled city, but some lovely restaurants nearby.

Loft Studio in Lucca

Easy check in with host meeting us at the property. Paola was very accommodating to us regarding language translation as we couldn’t speak Italian. Clear instructions given. Room was suitable for our stay in Lucca. Clean and tidy with a small kitchenette.

Lucca break

Very nice compact 3rd apartment. Overlooking a lovely villa and garden. Good base for exploring Lucca, quiet area at night. Vinicio and his family are very helpful and accommodating.

Bijou room with within the walls

Great position within the walls to walk to all attraction’s, restaurants & near one of the Porto gates. Beautiful room with perfectly placed storage, everything you need in one little space. Very easy to drive to to unload luggage then park close by at an underground 24hr car park.

An amazing Florence trip

Loved our little apartment! The accommodations were clean and spacious, it had every thing we needed including umbrellas for the rainy days! It was close to many of the attractions. Vinnie was a very nice and gracious host. Presented us with a delicious bottle of wine to enjoy during our stay! We’d totally recommend Vinnie’s apt. to others!

Perfect little studio.

I spent a week here. Well placed within the old city walls. Close to bus or train for further sightseeing. Very adequate kitchenette and super clean bathroom.Having 2 windows also gave it an airy feel. Lovely ristorantes nearby. I recommend and note that the owners have a large adjoining property if you are a larger group. Also much appreciated owners' son speaking English!

Lovely, quiet place

The studio is a lovely quiet place for 1 or 2 people. Very quiet, located with easy walking access to the train station and all the city attractions including bars, restaurants, shops, botanical garden and exhibit/concert spaces. Self-service laundry very close by. Comfortable area even walking at night. Landlords were very responsive and very welcoming. Note: this studio is on the third floor above the ground floor.

Great little room in Lucca

We had a Great time in Lucca. This cozy room has almost everything you need. The bed is good, there is some closet room and the windows can open for a great view. The bathroom is small but fine. Only negative is that the shower is open, which makes the entire bathroom wet. For the size it’s fine though. The room has a very small kitchen, with a refrigerator. There is however only one frying pan and no other deep pan for cooking pasta for example. Furthermore there is air conditioning which is useful in the summer.

I just want to clarify that the studio apartment overlooks Villa Bottini’s garden. The garden’s entrance is next to the studio’s building’s main entrance and it is free. Its opening hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. I hope there will be another occasion to have you as guests in Lucca and enjoy Villa Bottini’s garden.

Perfect getaway for two

Very much as described the property is well placed for all activities in Lucca and very close to some fabulous restaurants. The studio was very clean and well appointed and had a very comfortable firm bed. The area felt very safe at night. The window of the studio overlooks a peaceful public garden and mountains further to the distance. On summer evenings it is the venue for an open air cinema (this did not cause any problems with noise but added to the magic of the location). Communication with hosts Vinicio and Paola was excellent and Leonardo was very helpful explaining everything as needed when we arrived. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Het was een klein, maar compleet appartement. De airco was heel erg fijn, hoewel het lastig was om de goede stand te vinden voor het slapen 's nachts. De koelkast maakte wat lawaai, maar dat hebben wij niet als storend ervaren. Het was een heel net appartement. De overdracht ging via google translate, maar ging prima. De eigenaren waren heel behulpzaam en het contact was goed. We vonden het jammer dat de tuin en Villa Bottini in renovatie waren en helemaal niet bereikbaar waren en je dus niets daarvan kon bekijken. Dit had wat ons betreft, aangegeven moeten worden op de site. De ligging t.o.v. bezienswaardigheden was heel goed. Alles was binnen loopafstand. Nog wel een tip voor de eigenaar: een trekker voor de vloer bij de badkamer zou erg fijn zijn, want de hele vloer wordt bij het douchen nat. Ook bij gebruik van het douchegordijn.

Magnifique studio

Le studio est charmant, dans la vieille ville de Lucca. Il est idéalement situé, les fenêtres donne sur jardin, donc très calme. Idéal pour avoir des nuits reposantes et faire la grasse matinée.Les conseils de restaurants et bars ont été très utiles. Les hôtes ont été très sympathiques.

Prinzessin im Turm

Die Wohnung war für mich als Einzelreisende ideal, ein schönes helles, ruhiges Zimmer mit Blick in den Garten der Villa Bottini, innerhalb der Mauern Luccas, aber am Rand des historischen Stadtzentrums in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Der Zugang zur Wohnung war über viele Treppenstufen, oben angekommen fühlte ich mich wie eine Prinzessin im Turm. Leider war die kleine Küche sehr unpraktisch eingerichtet, es fehlte Vieles, es gab keinen Topf, keine Messer um z.B. einen Apfel zu schneiden, nur eine winzige Pfanne. Mit wenig Geld könnte man diese wunderschöne Wohnung optimieren. Leonardo und Mutter Paola haben mich sehr freundlich empfangen und mir Tipps zu Lucca gegeben. Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerda

I live with my family in Lucca and I am graduated as a electric technician, however now I work as a blacksmith in my own firm where I make many different objects that I use to furnish my apartments.

Owing this attic insid the Walls and being a curious and open-minded person towards other cultures and habits, I decided to renovate my apartment, which owns its own idependent entrance, in order to let people visit my home town.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This is a studio apartment, made up by a bedroom and a bathroom with its own independent entrance, which was used as an outbuilding of the Villa in the past centuries so it has a wonderful view into Villa Bottini's garden. Villa Bottini is the only villa inside Lucca's Walls and it was built by Elisa Baciocchi, Napolen's sister, during the 19th century when she was princess of Lucca and Piombino. There the trees remind of the past days as the numerous rose gardens and camellias which offer relaxing moments. The garden is free and it is open from 8a.m. until 8p.m. and events are often set in it.
