The house is quietly situated in the charming village centre of Wassenaar. Near the beach, dunes and forest. There are numerous shops and cozy restaurants within walking distance. The environment is an ideal starting point for excursions.
The nicely furnished home is suitable for 2 people. The house has a spacious sitting room, with French doors to a small terrace. In the living room is the dining area with 5 seats. The open kitchen is fully equipped and on the ground floor there is an additional bathroom with shower and toilet.

The bedroom is located on the first floor reached by a typical Dutch stairs. There are two single boxspring beds (90x200m) next to each other. The upstairs bathroom has a shower, sink and a toilet. Cabinet space is available in a separate small room.

Deposit of eur 100 is not included in the rent, which must be paid locally. Smoking, pets and parties are not allowed.

a week in Wassenaur

describing the accommodation as cozy is a gross understatement for the chalet is spacious and modern. It has been refurbished to a high standard. We have enjoyed staying there - our host was very friendly and welcoming and was full of care and did her upmost to help us settle in.The town has great charm and we would recommend it for a visit.

Cozy, secure & private- the best location in town

Annechien has a wonderful home-away-from-home property that she ensures is clean & well stocked. The location within Wassenaar is ideal for restaurants, supplies & even walking trails. We staid for a month & used her property as a home base to explore Netherlands, Germany & France.

Cozy and nice

We had a lovely stay in this very cute and cozy house. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The house was very clean and we were provided with everything we needed. Wassenaar is also a lovely and quiet place to be in. Overall we can only recommend this place, as we had a great experience.

Cute and clean place nestled in a beautiful town with the best host

My friend and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The house has a very homely vibe, is super clean which was a must for us and designed well. Annechien is such a lovely host, so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Just minutes away from connecting buses to Leiden, Den Hague and bike ride away from 2 lovely beaches. The town has everything you want - supermarkets, amazing restaurants, cafes, shopping places. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect spot in Wassenaar

From the time we arrived and greeted by our host, we were so glad we chose this home. It has everything one could possibly want - and more! It's charming and immaculate. Amazing home from home, perfect location

Even before our stay communication was excellent. We were greeted on arrival and shown round the property which was beautifully clean and well equipped. Bed super comfy. Lovely, friendly town, everything you need within walking distance and yet house is quiet and private. There is also a beautiful beach nearby. Great location to explore a wonderful country. We liked it so much we booked to return later this year. Only point to mention is that parking isn’t specifically allocated but we had no problems finding a nearby space and a parking disc is provided.

Beautiful and well equipped little house for two in the very desirable village/town of Wassenaar

This property far surpassed our expectations for location, comfort and being superbly equipped. The owner Annechiem has thought of absolutely everything. She showed us around on arrival and was inordinately helpful and friendly. The location is superb, central to Wassenaar yet quiet, easy for parking, The condition of everything in the house is like new - for example two excellent coffee machines - filter and nespresso. Certainly the best rental we have ever had in Holland; we will return!

Return to Wassanar

After 20 years we returned to Wassanar. The apartment was spotless and fitted out with everything that one would need. Everything had been carefully created to make one feel very welcome. The hosts were just great and made us feel that our holiday was going to be a bit special. They were full of great information of they area. They went way and above what was expected even to getting us travel tickets for the local transport. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in this place

Ein sehr schönes und gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in toller Lage im sehr schönen Wassenaar

Wir haben uns in dem wunderschönen Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren 10-tätigen Urlaub jeden Tag genossen. Das Ferienhaus, sehr ruhig gelegen, ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, geschmackvoll, gemütlich und komfortabel eingerichtet, es fehlte nichts. Die Gastgeberin und ihr Ehemann sind sehr sympathische, hilfsbereite und wunderbare Gastgeber, die uns am 1. Urlaubstag herzlich empfingen, alles zeigten und uns mit Informationen zum Ort und Umgebung versorgten. Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, sowie viele kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten stehen in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Haus auch zur Verfügung. Wassenaar ist ein sehr schöner Ort mit wunderschönen Häusern im holländischen Stil in kleinen Straßen und Gassen gelegen. Wassenaar ist der ideale Ort als Startpunkt um die Umgebung mit dem Fahrrad oder Bus zu erkunden, die meisten interessanten Ziele liegen im Umkreis von ca. 20 Km, zum Strand ist es auch nicht weit mit dem Fahrrad. Insgesamt können wir dieses Ferienhaus, wie auch Wassenaar mit Umgebung, für einen erholsamen Urlaub nur empfehlen. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft

Wir hatten leider nur einen kurzen Aufenthalt von 4 Tagen im April 2025. Das kleine Ferienhaus ist entzückend und sehr geschmackvoll renoviert. Komplett ausgestattet und äußerst gepflegt. Gerätschaften in der Küche sind wie neu, (Pfannen mit Einlegevliesen vor dem Verkratzen geschützt!) Die Bettwäsche ist duftig, gemütliche Sessel und Sofa im Wohnzimmer. Die Lage ist sehr sehr ruhig und dennoch fußläufig zu Geschäften für den täglichen Bedarf und zu sehr guten Restaurants. Parkplätze sind in der Nähe reichlich vorhanden.Wassenaar selbst ist ein sehr hübscher Ort mit bemerkenswerten schönen Häusern im holländischen Stil, kleinen Straßen und hübschen Winkeln. Abends ist es auf angenehmste Weise still.

Sehr schönes gemütliches Haus in perfekter Lage

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem sehr schönen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Häuschen sehr genossen. Die Lage im hübschen und ruhigen Ortskern der Gemeinde Wassenaar war perfekt, um von dort aus die sehr urbane Region Süd-Holland (Leiden, Den Haag, Rotterdam) zu erkunden - das geht auch prima mit dem hier sehr ausbauten öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind in wenigen Schritten erreicht - ebenso wie ein kostenloser Parkplatz für das Auto. Wir kommen gern wieder - auch dank der sehr herzlichen und freundlichen Vermieterin.

Knus huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien, alles functioneerde naar behoren. Heel compleet en netjes, brandschoon. Heerlijk rustig hoekje in het oude centrum, met winkels en horeca om de hoek. Gastvrij onthaal.

Wunderbares Stadthaus

Sehr sauberes,stilvoll und gemütliches Haus. Die Küche ist mit allem sehr gut ausgestattet. Es war alles da, Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Küchentücher, Spülmittel, Toilettenpapier, Kaffeetaps für die Nespressomaschine, es gibt aber auch eine Kaffeemaschine, sogar Duschbad, insgesamt eine sehr reichhaltige Ausstattung. Wir konnten jeden Morgen auf dem kleinen Aussenbereich frühstücken. Wir wohnten sehr zentral in dem sehr hübschen Ort, 3min zum Jumbo, viele Geschäfte und Restaurants. 4km mit dem Rad durch den Wald ging es zum wunderbaren Nordseestrand. Es gibt dort aber auch einen grossen Parkplatz für Autos. Die Räder konnten wir im Hof abstellen. Für den Sommer wären Mückennetze sicher von Vorteil. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder buchen.

Tolle Ferienwohnung

Wir hatten einen hervorragenden Aufenthalt. Die Ferienwohnung ist perfekt für zwei Personen, nett eingerichtet, wenn notwendig schnell heizbar, ruhig gelegen, zentral im Ort. Auch ohne Auto ist mit Bus, Bahn, Fahrrad -und zu Fuß alles erreichbar. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.
