Decent place conveniently located near U-bahn. We got in much later than expected and our taxi pulled up to a verbal then physical altercation between 2 guys across the street, which wasn't a great first impression. We had clear code/lockbox instructions, but there was no light on in the doorway entrance to see. We used our cell phone flashlights and successfully accessed the door. Strange that there were no sensor lights though throughout the hallway, courtyard, or stairs. It was very dark. Place was clean and looked as pictured, but main room smelled of smoke. Also, we booked this apartment because it had air conditioning, but the unit is located in the kitchen, so it does not reach the far bedroom. The kitchen would be very cold, and the first bedroom was a good temperature. However, even with moving the portable fan into the hallway to try and draw the air to the back bedroom (where 3 of us were sleeping), it didn't work well. Neighborhood was fine in the daytime/evening for the rest of our stay, so the initial altercation was saw may have just been random. I would say it is an average apartment very conveniently located within walking distance to Schonbrunn Palace, but I would probably stay closer to the main attractions on my next visit. Host was communicative prior to our arrival and gave good instructions/advice on how to get there, etc. so no issues there at all. We had a great visit to Vienna.

Amazing apartment super convenient location.

Very comfortable to sleep 6, underground station and grocery very close by. host communication was great AC was a blessing in the hottest day of the year. 100% would stay here again.

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Die Wohnung liegt verkehrsgĂŒnstig, daher ist es aber auch etwas laut bei offenem Fenster. Nachts geht es aber gut. DafĂŒr kann man Schönbrunn zu Fuß erreichen, oder mit einer Haltestelle der U-Bahn. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist hervorragend, alles fĂŒr den tĂ€glichen Bedarf ist vorhanden, das Geschirr ist in ausreichend großer Menge da und die SpĂŒlmaschine lĂ€uft zuverlĂ€ssig. Der CheckIn war super gut organisiert und die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich.

Very well equipped apartment in Vienna. All the services a person needs - train, groceries, restaurants and such extremely close. Ingela is an outstanding host - very responsive with great recommendations and answers questions extremely quickly.

Good location and well layed out apartment

We had an overall great stay. The apartment is in a fantastic location, with a parking garage and train station just a 4-minute walk away. The layout was thoughtfully designed, and it was reasonably well-equipped. One thing to keep in mind is that the apartment is on the second-highest floor, and there's no direct elevator access to that level. So, if you have a lot of luggage, be prepared to carry it up a few flights of stairs. Many thanks!"

Quite happy with the place

Apartment setup worked quite nicely for our family. The subway station is amazingly close to the apartment, Schönbrunn palace is a short walk, and the mall right by the subway station has a very nice grocery store. The apartment setup was just right too. Location and proximity to everything we needed to get to was great. Our train from Germany was delayed at least 3 times on our way, and the host was very accommodating of the changes in arrival time. She also offered great suggestions on how to get around town easily, as well as local places to eat (one of which we tried and loved). The outside of the building is a bit older, not unlike many buildings in the area and across Europe. The apartment itself was great. We'd happily stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend the place. Might be worth noting for anyone with mobiliity issuues that you do have to use a flight of stairs to get to the apartment.

Ingela was wonderful from the moment we booked this property, offering us suggestions, answering questions and meeting us for check in. We loved our stay here. There were ample beds to keep the teens comfortable and the apartment was just a few short stops from the city center.

Lovely Oasis in Vienna

This was such a great find—we feel so fortunate. First, Ingela was an amazing, lovely, helpful host. She has thought of every possible comfort. After endless walking the streets of Vienna, it was so nice to come home to this apartment. Restaurants and grocery stores minutes away and the city at your fingertips via the metro. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat 😊

* Location right on the underground line U4 Meidling Hauptstrasse which is a direct connection to the heart of the city (Karlsplatz/Oper) in 8 - 10min.
