Sisters weekend

We come every year for sister time. We always stay in Sand Destin. We love this area and feel safe. This house show signs of wear. It could use a good updating. The furniture/beds has served it purpose and could use some new. Love the golf cart and it held its charge. Enjoyed the view from the deck and used it several mornings. Thank you an enjoyable time.

Great location, cozy home!

We enjoyed the location of this unit. It’s a short golf ride to The Village at Baytown, Publix, great restaurants, and the beach! It does need some updating in terms of decor, furniture, and countertops but that was the least of our concerns for this vacation. The pool is small but perfect for an afternoon or nighttime plunge. The unit was very clean and extremely comfortable. The golf cart operated well and we didn’t have any problems with the unit while visiting. The deck overlooks a small pond, complete with ducks and turtles (not a lot of fish for fishing).I would highly recommend staying here. It was perfect for our family (2 kids ages 8 & 9)!

Lovely Place, lovely area

Great house in a really excellent area. The little pool on the deck was excellent. Overall we would definitely come again. Only small issues: Some areas looked a little tired, and the sofa bed was not very comfortable for an adult.

Great day for family

This place was really perfect for what we needed. We are a family sex with four young children. The pool outback was the perfect kitty pool for hanging out.

Destin Vacation

We had an amazing stay. We love the Dustin area and staying at Sandestin is always amazing. This villa was a great place to stay. The pool was amazing to have on the deck and the golf cart was great to have to drive around. We’ve already looked at booking next year.

The pool needed cleaned when we got there and there was some issues with the hot water. The hot water was addressed. We felt a bit watched as the “owner” met us before we got our things in the door. Overall, the pictures reflect what it is.

Simply okay

My husband booked this place while being deployed, (first issue, I’ll be planning for next trip), the property was “ok” gave late 80s early 90s vibes. Out dated couch, bed was very firm and had one of grandmothers fleece blankets under the sheets(kinda odd). The property itself was inside a gated community on a golf course , retirement feels if you will. The beach was about a 10 min drive considering the traffic and intersections. Golf cart was provided and did have a great get-up-i go; but was not feasible to take to public beach area. There was a plethora of “ground rules”,and fees. Second day was woken up at 7am to construction crew right outside bedroom wall doing concrete work beside house. Will say, the soaking pool was nice to have at night however,way to hot to use during day time. We did our best to stay at the beach or outside of property. The beach and town itself was amazing. Found a fantastic seafood place. Would not recommend for young married couple, or small family with kids.

Economic rental

The house was outdated but very clean. The refrigerator did not stay cold. I did contact managers and they sent someone right over. However, it did not stay cool enough to even keep milk overnight. The “owner/golf cart/pool keeper” Jerry would show up giving instructions & how to’s for golf cart. He was very nice but it was a little creepy how often he came. We enjoyed the little pool perfect for small children!

Beautiful property

The house is in a great location, and it has everything you need. The property management communicates well, check in was a breeze! The pool is great, and the golf cart makes everything super convenient. There’s so many amenities you don’t need to leave the community! We will be back to stay again in the future!

Nice property

The property was fine. Very clean and owner stopped by twice to check on pool. The biggest issue we’re the mattresses. The king bed was very uncomfortable and when I went to the twin, it was somewhat better but not great. Overall a nice property and in a quiet neighborhood

Nice quiet area, everything as advertised.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The golf cart was very handy and the small pool on the deck was wonderful. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The building was a bit dated, but that was to be expected. Only complaint was that there did not seem to be much hot water for multiple showers.

Nice location, golf cart a plus, great deck !

This is our 14th year to the Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort community. There were no surprises to the description of the listing it was very clean, well kept and had a lot of little extra amenities. We always get a property with a golf cart so this was a deal breaker for us. It worked well even though it’s pretty old it got us where we needed to go. The deck on the back of the house was nice as we grilled out a couple nights and had dinner in the deck with the fountain in the bay amd the sunset it was perfect !! We liked the location and walked to Baytowne wharf every morning from the house and it a little over 3 miles ! The homeowner stopped by and we had a nice chat with him as well, very nice. Would recommend this property for. a family of 4 or less.

Linkside stay

This property was great! Great view and had everything we needed— cleaning supplies, Tupperware and Ziploc bags, welcome basket of coffee and little dunkers, there were a couple of beach chairs and umbrella, and even a cooler! And the refrigerator had an ice maker. I’m not sure why there were negative reviews about the lack of things provided… I brought some of my own after reading, just in case, but I felt that anything I needed was there. The golf cart was also an awesome amenity! It was nice that grocery delivery was permitted, so that was a convenience for us, too.

Perfect

Nicely renovated house in the older part of Sandestin. We prefer the older area with larger yards and outdoor living areas . Having an outdoor pool/hotub was perfect for our 3 year old. Furnishings were comfortable and clean . Would definitely stay there again

Great getaway place

Nice condo with great outside space looking onto the canal water with fountain & nice little pool for keeping cool. Golf cart worked but was questionable in its safety as tire treads were worn in front & steering wheel was on upside down. Great location for everything at Baytown Wharf. Quiet and safe neighborhood, even for walking at night.

Just a little maintenance needed

The house, location and personal pool was awesome!! Just needs some maintenance. Needs to be updated. The front door would make a better impression upon arrival if it were painted The coded door only worded a few times.The steering column on the golf car needs to be fixed. It is dangerous, as it is.

Perfect for a family (of 4) getaway!

The property is as described/pictured. Well located within Sandestin community. TVs in bedrooms a big plus to pass time when the rain surely comes and plenty of space for our family. The management was responsive to minor issues and the owner was very nice and helpful as well. We had an issue w/ the pool (which was one of the main reasons for booking) but they fixed the water situation and made it right overall. Appliances were new and some updates made were apparent as well. Loved having the lake where we could feed the turtles/fish and even fish some (although they were working on the lake which made it not friendly for fishing but that's way out of owner's control). Golf cart was a huge plus here too and the owner came by to make sure it was in tip top shape. First, let me be clear, we were aware of what is provided w/ the unit. However, giving us at least one trash bag per day of the stay would be nice so we don't have to buy a roll of 50. We stocked the house well w/ a trip to the store for cleaners, paper towels, detergent, etc. and left those of course for the next family's use hopefully. I would strongly encourage providing some beach towels as buying those and leaving them stinks (as does packing them if you take that approach). Also, I'd love to see new mattresses / pillows in this unit to offer a better night's sleep. If that occurred, I'd definitely stay here again. Don't mean to be negative at all b/c this was a great vacation stay w/ an excellent owner and management company who cared about things and offered us a great place to call home for a week.

Great place!

It was a great house! We loved the golf cart and that we could drive everywhere we needed to go in the Sandestin area. The owners were great to work with. We will definitely be coming back to this property!

Location, location, location!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! This was the perfect spot for our family, we didn't want to go home. Everything was so clean and it had everything we needed. We loved touring the area in the golf cart, Baytowne Wharf was close by and so much fun. Our kids enjoyed the plunge pool, great for the whole family. We would highly recommend and love to come back sometime!
