Two bedrooms (Queen & a Twin Bed) with sitting porch, living room, full kitchen, one bath, and with a small onsite laundry facility. Location is convenient to the Cities of Clayton and Dillard. Near Camp Blue Ridge, the Foxfire Museum, Tallulah Falls State Park, and Black Rock State Park. This location would serve well as a staging location to reach other areas in the Northeast Georgia region and is within a 30 minute to one hour drive of Franklin, NC and Cherokee, NC. Property is centrally located in Rabun County and the various scenic sites located in beautiful Northeast Georgia.

Very nice cottage

Stayed in Clayton to visit my sick brother. The cabin was very nice and clean. The owner was pleasant and responsive when I made a request. Totally recommend this rental.

Clean cozy cottage

Enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed available to us. Enjoyed meeting Barbara. Our activities were limited because it rained all week, but we would like to come back again at a later time.

Perfect place!

This was a wonderful place tucked back into the woods. Very quiet and friendly area. I travel alone for work and was never concerned about my safety. The owner is close by and is such a treat if you get to meet her!

Beautiful Cottage

This cottage very close to the main road 441. Clayton is about 5 min driving where you can find grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. Black Rock Mountain State Park is also closed to enjoy hiking or just a simple walk around the lake. This cottage is well equipped. We loved the views it has from any angle. Beds, bathroom, living room, kitchen and out side porch are all great places! Overall a beautiful place to stay and relax with the quietness and peacefulness that this cottage has to offer! Love the pond and the geese.

Sister Retreat

Barbara’s Cox Cottage was so very comfortable. My sister and I had everything we needed for a cozy retreat. The weather had turned much colder, but Barbara made sure the heat was on. The cottage is only a couple miles from Black Rock State Park and a short drive to Highlands. Thank you Barbara!

Great secluded and private location from main highway. Loved the quiet serenity of our stay.

Cox lake for Cox family

The little Cox lake was beautiful! The cabin was in a quite, beautiful, peaceful part of Clayton, Ga. We were close to several attractions, several quaint towns. Good restaurants, several wonder farmer’s markets. Very relaxing!

Great clean hideaway

This was our first time staying at this property. It is quiet, clean, secluded yet close to shopping and restaurants in Clayton. Just up the road is Dillard, 30 min away is Helen. Very comfortable with one queen bed in 1 bedroom, a single bed in another bedroom. Only 1 bathroom but with a full size shower/tub. We were able to walk around a small lake nearby although we didn't have access. The apartment had all of the needed appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, etc.). The second day, it rained in the afternoon which was great to sit on the porch in rocking chairs and listen to the rain on the metal roof. Overall, a wonderful private place to rest and a great home base for sight seeing.

Beautiful Peaceful Retreat

What a beautiful place to stay. Loved being surrounded by woods and the peacefulness. Our hosts were accommodating when we had questions and we could not ask for a better place to stay while our Boys were camping. Would love to stay there again in the future.
