On a newly renovated building with a sober and cozy decoration, this 3 bedroom apartment with 2 complete bathrooms will be a great starting point to explore the city. You will be in the third floor with elevator. Nearby you will find all kinds of restaurants, cafes and even a small market. There is also a tram 28 stop just 100 meters away and the Terreiro do Paço metro station is at a 5-minute walk. Fully equipped kitchen, WIFI and air conditioning included. Public parking building 5 minutes walk. Most of the main sights to visit are at walking distance like the Cathedral or the Lisbon castle.

Transportation arranged with host made the trip from airport easy. Our host was waiting for us when we arrived and gave us a thorough tour of the apartment. The apartment is quite spacious, very clean and bright. It had everything we needed. The location was perfect! Just steps away from the Lisbon Cathedral, restaurants and shops.

Great place and location

3 couples - lots of room, well equipped and clean. Suited us very well. Easy to get to the sights - most in walking distance. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Definitely recommend.

Great Alfama location

Apartment was filled with light and was extremely comfortable. Location was great, walking distance to many excellent restaurants. Carlos was extremely helpful and responded quickly to all of our questions. Highly recommend staying here.

Great location and view!

Great option in Alfama- communication with host was super easy and they met us at the apartment to show us around. Rooms very spacious. View of the water spectacular. Easy walking to various sites plus great food options. We had 6 people in the apartment and found it plenty spacious.

Beautiful, light-filled apartment

We loved this apartment! Lovely light and very comfortable for 4 people. Great location with easy access to metro and buses. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Romantic Alfama

I stayed in Chiado & Baixa before but definitely Alfama is a better choice. Lovely cafes & fado restaurants around our apartment. Transportation is so easy. Most important is that the apartment is so beautiful! Nice & clean with beautiful river view. Helena is very helpful with everything . Will definitely come back for my next trip to Lisbon.

Lisbon Gem

We had a wonderfull time at Helena appartement. What you see is what you get. You can't beat the location. in the heart of Alfama neighbourhood. If we had one suggestion to make is to remove the bedspread and keep only the white sheet and duvet. Maybe with a folded blanket at the foot of the bed ?

Lovely Lisbon

We were a family of 6 adults 3 couples. Lots of room and comfortable living area. It was close to many great restaurants yet not hectic or overcrowded. The 2 other couples found the bedrooms warm as the heat pump didnt reach them. Not a huge issue. However, I would like to see 2 newer towels per guest rather than 1 each as we were there for 7 nights. This wasn't something I mentioned to Helena so perhaps I should have requested. We would happily go back.

Lovely property, excellent location, terrific host!

We spent five nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Helena was very helpful at every step of the way. She was very responsive to questions and made great suggestions. The apartment itself is lovely, light, and airy (exactly as advertised), with nice views of the water. The property is well equipped and had everything we needed. The location is great! We had a wonderful time here and hope to come back again soon.

Bel appartement très bien situé

L'appartement lui-même est conforme aux photos. Grand, lumineux et bien fourni. Très belle vues sur le port et la Cathédrale qui est à quelques pas. C'est très propre à notre arrivée. La cuisine est bien fournie en produits essentiels et en équipement de cuisson. L'ascenceur est moderne et fonctionne très bien. De plus, il est juste à côté de la porte de l'appartement, ce qui est très pratique. Les lits sont très durs dans les trois chambres et peu confortables. Durant notre séjour au Portugal, nous avons loué trois appartements et c'est le seul où on nous a demandé une "taxe de séjour". Malgré ma demande, la personne qui nous a reçu ne nous a pas donné de reçu pour ce 30 euros et a dit qu'elle demanderait à sa patronne. Nous n'avons pas eu de nouvelles par la suite. Il manquait aussi de savon pour le lave-linge. Encore une fois, il n'y a pas eu de suivi. Nous avons dû téléphoné à la locatrice à notre arrivée car elle n'avait pas répondu à nos textos et Whatsapp. Ce sont des petits inconvénients qui ne gâchent pas notre séjour, mais qui pourraient être améliorés. Une suggestion en terminant : Il serait très utile de fournir un sac à roulettes pour faire les emplettes, surtout dans un appartement qui a un ascenseur.

A beautiful condo in the Aflama District in Lisbon, Portugal

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! is what all 4 of us said when we entered the unit!!!! It is beautiful, full of light, with views of the river and rooftops.... The location of the condo is 10 stars... It is so close to everything you want to go, see, hear and eat. There are 5 restaurants & cafes in the same block as the condo, many have Fado singers at night. We were lucky enough to see Daniela Mendes at the Duet os da Se restaurant directly across the street. She was terrific, you can see her videos on YouTube. The restaurant was also terrific, food, service and in a 300+ year old building. The condo and building has been recently renovated and it has a wonderful, old world charm. Aside from being extremely clean, it is well furnished and very comfortable. We did not cook because of all the wonderful and fun restaurants within walking distance so I can't say much if you are a cook but why bother when you can experience the Portuguese's cuisine right outside your door. Helena, the manager, is absolutely amazing. She was so responsive, helpful and accommodating that 5 stars is not enough and we appreciated all that she did for us. Lisbon is magical and wonderful with friendly people and open to the world to come and visit.
