Les Lodges / Casitas sont situés dans les terres d'une belle Finca rustique, dans une position élevée, avec des vues magnifiques sur le Portugal et la rivière Minho. Une piscine de bonne taille avec vue sur un terrain vert et sécurisé. Tous ont une terrasse ou des zones ombragées pour s'asseoir, et ont l'utilisation d'un barbecue, et des zones de loisirs. Zone paisible, avec rivière, forêt et collines à pied de Finca. Plage de la rivière de sable, sûre pour la baignade, à 10 minutes à pied, avec de nombreuses plages de sable fin magnifiques à 15-30 minutes en voiture, sur les deux côtés espagnol et portugais. Bons restaurants accessibles à pied, et au cœur de la zone de production de vin Albarino de Rosal. Beaucoup de choses à faire et à voir avec Celte et romaine et autres vestiges historiques abondants dans la localité. Des sports nautiques, des promenades à cheval, des randonnées à pied et à vélo peuvent être organisés localement. Scandinavia Style, casita plaquée bois, avec un hébergement simple mais confortable. Deux chambres à deux lits, salle de bains et salon / salle à manger. Casita cuisine entièrement équipée pour cuisiner, avec grand réfrigérateur / congélateur et cuisinière, avec de grandes surfaces de travail.
L'extérieur est élevé terrasse ombragée pour manger en plein air et de détente, avec des vues magnifiques à proximité de l'espace barbecue et piscine. Directement en face est la zone de pelouse relaxante avec la forêt pittoresque et des vues de Rio Mino et du Portugal à droite ..
La jolie petite ville de Vila Nova de Cerveira est à seulement 10 minutes en voiture de l'autre côté du pont international, sans un marché du samedi à ne pas manquer.

Cozy Lodge

We had a beautiful stay in one of the 2 Lodges. The Finca area is so cozy and lovely. Pam, the host, is very helpful and tries to fulfill all wishes. She is always available with action and advice. Rowing boat, canoe or bicycle can be rented nearby. The hiking trails to the river start at the lodge.

A wonderful Stay

The property was lovely and Pam was very welcoming and helpful. The pool was very clean and perfect after a busy (and hot) day sight seeing. The location was perfect as it was 5 minutes from the beach on the Mina river and 5 minutes from Portugal by car (with lots of fantastic beaches and towns to visit). We weren't expecting a shared washing machine but it didn't cause any problems. I would definitely recommend considering air con and a bit more storage in the kitchen-but overall we had a wonderful relaxing time and would recommend this location to anyone.

Chalet proche du rio miño

Petit chalet rustique trés sympa proche du rio Miño avec un accès à une belle piscine. La vue sur les montagnes et la forêt est superbe! Pam est très accueillante, agréable et réactive. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Nous remercions Pam.

Superbe endroit

C'est une très belle propriété propre et bien entretenue. Très belles plages aux alentours aussi bien côté portugais que côté espagnol. De plus, Robin est très attentionné et répond aux souhaits de ses invités.

Finca Río Miño

Es un lugar encantador, ubicado a 10 minutos andando del Río Miño. Puedes darte un baño en la playa fluvial o pasear/hacer deporte en el sendero junto al río. Robin es una excelente persona y siempre está pendiente de que se disfrute de la estancia .

A propriedade encontra-se em um lugar maravilhoso, calmo, tranquilo porém próximo de cidade como Baiona, Nigran, Vila Nova de Cerveira que são ótimas para passear e com uma gastronomia fantástica. O Robin nos recebeu muito bem, tudo muito limpo e agradável. Voltarei.

Casa espectacular para descansar.

El alojamiento un 10. Robin, el anfitrión, gran persona y atentos a todas las necesidades que pedimos. Se mostró muy atento y puedes disfrutar de todo el recinto pues es una gran persona. La casa muy bien éramos dos parejas y una niña y muy bien. Hicimos nuestra vida entre el porche de la casa, su preciosa piscina y su cuidado césped. Un gran sitio en una zona muy tranquila a pocos kilómetros de la guardia y de Portugal. Una gran experiencia y un placer haber conocido a Robin. Repetiremos seguro

Tranquilidad, limpieza, todo perfecto.

Hemos pasado unos días estupendos. La casita está muy limpia y cuidada. La finca preciosa, el entorno ideal para pasear y cerca de sitios preciosos para visitar y por supuesto la amabilidad y atenciones de Robin que han hecho que nos encontremos como en nuestra propia casa. Un diez!!

We had a lovely week staying here in one of the lodges. Very clean and quiet. The grounds were well kept and swimming pool was great. Robin was the perfect host with lots of good tips on the local area. Would recommend this to families who want a base to explore the area.

We had a wonderful week at the Finca Rio Minho and will hopefully return soon.

This is an absolutely lovely place to stay. Beautiful gardens with clean pool. The Finca is quiet and peaceful but you can walk to the river to swim and eat at the tapas bar. Great area to visit with lots to do. Robin is a fantastic host with great local knowledge. We stayed in the chalet which was quite basic but has everything you need. The setting and views are stunning.

Sshh don't tell everyone about this wonderful place

We had an amazing holiday staying in one of the lodges, the accommodation was simple but provided everything that we needed and we were grateful to find some provisions when we first arrived. Although it is in the grounds of the FInca the lodge feels private as you have beautiful uninterrupted views of the river and the mountains, we would have been happy to sit on the terrace with a glass of wine enjoying the view and the pool for our entire stay. We had been to Galicia before but not to this particular area and we loved it, there is a huge variety of things to see and do both in Galicia and just over the border in Portugal. We stayed for a week and did something different everyday and we would have loved to have stayed for longer. Our 8 year old loved the animals, particularly the Collie Brock who acted as lifeguard whilst he was in the pool. He also loved swimming in the river which was just a 10 minute walk away and was surprisingly warm. Robin and Deb were great hosts, they made us feel very welcome and were extremely knowledgeable about the area offering great suggestions of places to visit. We loved our holiday here so much that I am sure we will return soon!

Beautiful property with wonderful views

This was our second stay at Finca Rio Mino because we loved our first experience so much. This visit was just as lovely as the first! Robin is a wonderful host. He had filled the cabin with many provisions such as wine, milk, bread and fruit to get us started. He even provided cereal for our girls because he knew they preferred it for breakfast. The cabin is clean and comfortable. I can not say enough about the beautiful grounds and the impressive view. The property is loving cared for and is beautifully manicured. The pool area is immaculate and the view is so nice that we spent an entire day by the pool and then grilled and had dinner on the deck. Robin knows the area very well and gives outstanding recommendations for day trips and for dining options. We have stayed in many rental properties but this one is a family favorite. Thank you, Robin for another outstanding visit!

Gorgeous stay in O Rosal

My husband, 2 daughters and I could not have enjoyed our stay more in O Rosal. It was perfect! The property is even lovelier than in the photos if you can imagine! The casita in which we stayed was immaculate and Robin, a delight, greeted us with drinks and then went out of his way to provide many extras for our first breakfast (bread, coffee, milk, fresh fruit, and even a bottle of wine). Incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated! There is so much to do and see in the area and Robin took the time to give us great tips. Everyone of his recommendations was outstanding and we were so glad we took his advice. We know we only scratched the surface of what there is to do and see in Galicia. We also really appreciated just having a day to relax by the pool. We had been traveling for 2 weeks and appreciated a chance to decompress at O Rosal and lounge by the pool and enjoy the views of the property, the river and Portugal. Robin is a fantastic host and our girls loved having two dogs and two kittens on the property. It made it even more special for them. We have great stories of our walk to dinner along the path, our amazing trips to Biona and to Monte Tecla. We also had one of the best meals all month in O Lagar. Thank you for a wonderful stay Robin! It is a place we would love to visit again!

Glorious Galicia

My husband and I have recently returned from two wonderful, relaxing weeks at Finca Rio Mino. We were warmly greeted by Robin on arrival, along with Broc and Dylan - Robin's two very friendly dogs. We stayed in the Mino Casita which was very clean and, although basic, had everything we needed. We made very good use of the outdoor terrace from where the views of the garden, the river Mino, the hills and Portugal beyond are stunning. The outdoor pool was lovely and a good size too. We often enjoyed a refreshing swim in the late afternoon/early evening. The river beach is a 10 minute walk away - a lovely place to swim and sunbathe. Also within walking distance are three restaurants/tapas bars. We would highly recommend (for the grown-ups) O Lagar En Eiras. The food and wine were delicious! We visited Vigo, La Guardia, Muino and Baiona in Spain and Porto, Caminha, Valenca and Vila Nova de Cerveira in Portugal. There is so much to see and do in this beautiful area. Robin has an extensive knowledge of Galicia and Northern Portugal, so do ask him, he will be more than happy to share his knowledge with you. Finca Rio Mino is a peaceful, tranquil place to return to at the end of each day. Broc and Dylan were often there to meet us too! We hope to return to this beautiful, unspoilt area of Spain/Portugal and thank you again, Robin, for your wonderful hospitality.

Beautiful location with great activities

We had a fantastic week's holiday here. It is in a beautiful location with lovely grounds to relax in, and a short walk to nearby river beaches and some great places to eat. It is a just a short drive to the sea or to Portugal. I was with a teenage son and we were keen to try lots of activities. We were able to go surfing, sailing, white water rafting and kayaking all nearby. Robin was a fantastic help on contacting and making arrangements with the organisers - we had an action packed week! If you prefer a quieter time there are also many beautiful walks and historic towns and sites to visit nearby. The area is really unspoilt and very interesting to explore. The property is full of character and Robin was an excellent host. Highly recommended!

Fabulous holiday

This is a fantastic place to stay ! We booked into the Mino cassita and managed to 'escape' life for a week. There was a small beach within walking distance as were a fab tapas bar and a restaurant which excelled any expectations. Robin was the most amazing host and for non Spanish speakers ,like ourselves, he was truly invaluable. He arranged kayaking, motorbike routes and restaurant bookings. The pool and the delightful dogs made the holiday even more special especailly for my children. We really hope to get back there as soon as we are able!!

I have over a decade in hosting Retreats in Goa, India, ensuring my guests needs are met and look forward to assisting guests here in Galicia.
My passion and purpose in life is to teach Yoga, meditation and other spiritual practices and in the coming years I will be offering Retreats at this property too.

This is an area with such beautiful peaceful, yet exhilarating diversity, that whatever the time of year or weather, it is impossible to be bored or have nothing to do.... From walks along the river, water sports, beaches, mountain hikes, yoga, visiting vine wards, amazing markets and fabulous restaurants, there is always something to do or the choice to do nothing and enjoy the beauty and peace at Finca rio mino.
