The apartment is located in Tirso de Molina. It has been recently renovated and restored. The decor is clean, modern, fresh, and relaxing. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a washer-dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, ceramic hob, oven, and microwave. The living and dining areas are spacious and bright, with enough seating for everyone. The apartment has three double bedrooms and two modern bathrooms complete with a rain shower; one of the bathrooms is located in the master bedroom. The balcony doors and windows are new, including electric roller shutters to reduce noise and light, and air conditioning and heating units are provided in each space.

We kindly ask that you send us all the information before your arrival so we can organize everything, as well as the ID or passport numbers of all guests. We will always be in contact during your stay in case you need anything or have any problems.

Everything was perfect. We had two couples and there were three rooms. The organization and Valeria and the team were very helpful. The location was in fantastic proximity to the areas we wanted to walk to and near a grocery store or two. Couldn’t be better. Rated location four out of five only because there was some construction across the street and at night time could hear a fair bit outside the front bedroom windows. Some earplugs or music solve the problem. I wouldhighly recommend this place .

We had an amazing visit in Madrid and having this place to stay was great. Hans was very nice to help us. While the location is ideal as far as getting around, the noise from the street made it challenging to sleep well. Sleeping with white noise machines is a must, but during day we were out touring most of the time. The building itself is very quiet with no noisy neighbors. We did encounter a few homeless on the street but we always felt very safe. You can walk everywhere very easily from this location and access to subway train is across the street. There are two food markets on the street to buy food to cook. We mostly ate out as there are restaurants everywhere. If you’ve never been to Madrid before I highly recommend it - beautiful city and very fun to walk around. Easy day trips via train included Barcelona and Toledo. Segovia and Ávila are nice too but you need to drive or find a bus tour. You definitely do not need a car to visit Madrid.

Great apartment for our family of five! The place was right in the heart of the city, with an easy walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and the different tour meet-up points.

Beautiful apartment in a great neighborhood

We could not have been happier with everything about our experience. Our host Valentina was welcoming and accommodating, the apartment location was perfect - close to everything we needed. We had a great view of the street scene and were just a few steps from stores, bars, restaurants, bakeries and so on. Fabulous place nd highly recommended.

Wonderful visit

The apartment was perfect and so was Valentina. Helpful landlord, such a convenient neighborhood with groceries steps away, washing machine, dishwasher. Noisy yes, but that’s a small price to pay to be in Central Madrid.

We had such a wonderful stay at Hans' apartment! Great location, beautiful apartment, plenty of room for a family of six. Hans and his family were so responsive and helpful with the apartment and suggestions of neighborhood spots to visit. We miss it already! Can't recommend enough!

Cute but loud

We really enjoyed this spacious and great (centrally ) located apartment. Valentina was so nice and informative and location is easy short walking to all areas. Evening and sleeping time are very loud. I would highly recommend this apartment but bring headphones or ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Great apartment and location

Outstanding location, apartment size and cleanliness. We had 5 adults, and it worked well. Master suite was a nice surprise. Perfect location to explore the city, or just soak up Madrid and people watch. Hans and Valeria were very helpful. On a busy plaza and corner, so it can be loud at night. This was to be expected in a cosmopolitan city. Would recommend to any family with adult children.

Great apartment - very noisy location

The place was great. It’s on the second floor overlooking a street that is active all night. Very active. There are noise canceling shutters and we only used the two back bedrooms but still very difficult to sleep. Used noise canceling headphones and white noise which helped some.

Great Central Apartment - clean and comfortable

We were a group of 6 with 4 adults and 2 teens what stayed in the apartment for several days in August. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with lots of space for everyone. It was well equipped with soap/ shampoo and towels with the convenience of a washer/ dryer. It’s right across from the metro station and a central plaza, and accessible to many restaurants and shops. Our only issue was the noise from the plaza during the night - there were people who were up all night (until 7am) talking loud/shouting that kept us awake. The check in process with Lorenzo was easy and he was very helpful in explaining all of the amenities. Would recommend for a large group.

Needs refreshing

The property is well located for walking or public transportation to all the major sites and historic areas of Madrid. Being on the first floor and on a busy square, there were times when it was noisy. Most important, there were homeless persons and vagrant individuales frequently in the square and sleeping there. However, it did not seem overtly threatening and the police patrolled frequently. The apartment needs more thorough cleaning and above all newer furniture. Some great pros are the supermarket a few yards away, the metro station right there, a nice ice cream shop and a good pastry shop, and a general lively outdoor area with cafes and eateries enjoyed by locals.

Great location

Upon arrival, Valentina helped to get us situated and familiar with the apartment and the surrounding areas. She was very thorough in her instructions and very helpful throughout the stay in checking in with us to see if there is anything we needed. The good news is the unit is very centrally located which provides easy access to almost all the downtown area. The not so good news is that it is a busy area, all night long. It was not that bothersome, unless your a very light sleeper, in which case I would recommend some ear plugs. The unit does have exterior metal shades that can be closed at night which provides for a very dark and somewhat quieter evening. We really enjoyed the unit, the amenities and all that Madrid had to offer. Thank you Hans and Valentina for helping us have a wonder stay.

Interesting location and nice apartment with some drawbacks.

The apartment has three bedrooms and two bathrooms which is hard to find so it was very nice to have that amount of room. The apartment looks out over a very busy square and is 10 feet from a very busy road. The apartment is on the second floor. So as others have pointed out, it is noisy and there’s no way to get around that. One of the three bedrooms is facing that square and it was very noisy, but all the bedrooms had noise throughout the night from the nightlife which tends to go into the early hours of the morning. The location is central to a lot of the sites you’re going to want to see, but there are plenty of areas of the city that are quieter and close to all the important sites. Madrid has an excellent Metro and bus system so public Transportation is very convenient throughout the city. The host was very communicative and we got great instructions on getting there. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets, but they also provided someone to come in and do cleaning, wash the sheets and towels once during our two week visit. That was quite nice. Just be aware that not much is provided. You need to bring your own shampoo, coffee and laundry detergent as well as dishwashing pods. There are plenty of stores within walking distance. Overall a nice apartment although I don’t think we would rent it again.
