This was the perfect relaxing end to our trip! It's a cozy cottage on a quiet road just up the mountain from Reggello. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful.

Great vacation property ! We enjoyed the peace and tranquility that this amazing property offered. Loved the location and the house was great for our family of 6. Kids loved playing around the huge property and the short walks into town each day.

This was perfect for us. Private, close to anything you need. Amongst the vineyards. You can see Nipozzano castle winery from the deck and the pool. The pool was always clean and a perfect bit of peace.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Gianna and her family were such great hosts and lovely people. The accommodations were so quaint and cute. I would highly recommend!! Grazie, grazie! Until next time!🇮🇹🇨🇦

Jane and her wonderful husband were so accommodating. They were a wealth of information of places to go & see and where to eat. Their place is in a beautiful location which gives you the true Tuscan experience. Jane arranged for us us to have the most wonderful wine tasting at the Frescobaldi winery. Because Jane knew we were arriving from a long flight from Canada she offered to get us supplies beforehand so that we would have something to eat and not have to go grocery shopping upon arrival. Their home is surrounded by gardens which they grow their own herbs which they told us to help ourselves to. Everything in their listing was as stated and even more. If we could give more than a five star rating we would. When we visit Tuscany again we will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for making our Tuscany experience one of the best. Terrific hosts

My husband and I were married at La Vecchia Quercia on Aug 4, 2019, and there are not enough kind words to describe Francesca, her team, and their property. The villa itself is stunning, with possibly the most incredible view of the Tuscan countryside I have ever seen. We felt as if we were walking around in a dream for our entire stay there. The villa seems to have a soul itself, and is full of happy memories from all of the guests who have stayed there. The property is about an hour and a half drive from Florence (on scenic windy roads through the countryside - also an amazing experience!), and is only five minutes from Poppi village. If you are looking for an escape from your daily life, and to feel immersed in nature and history, this is the place for you. We stayed there in the hottest month of the year and were nervous about the temperature for our wedding, but the villa's location on the hillside means you get a beautiful breeze coming through the valley, and even when temperatures were above 35 degrees during the day, it was cool and comfortable at night. As far as Francesca goes, she is the ultimate, ultimate host. When we were deciding where to get married, it was Francesca who sold us on this property above all else. She is kind, responds quickly, and is super attentive to details. She helped us with all aspects of the wedding, and directed us to vendors in the neighbourhood who would be of service to us. This villa is personally important to her, and that shines through in every square inch of the property. All of our guests were in awe of this villa, and asked us to please renew our vows again as soon as possible so we could all return there as soon as possible. This is a special place unlike any other, and if you are on the fence about booking - just do it! You won't be disappointed. Thank you Francesca for everything, we will cherish our memories there forever!!
