Spacious, modern, comfortable villa with lagoon view, pool & close to the beach

The first stunning thing about notices on arrival is the beautiful wide view of the Obidos Lagoon. A view to be admired both from the house with its full glass front as from the front garden where one can relax in the sun all day. Too much sun? Retreat to the patio at the back of the house, light the fireplace and enjoy your bbq. Or float around lazily in the infinity swimming pool (shared).
One will find the house light, spacious and comfortable. There is a large sofa where one can watch television, just Netflix (please use own account). Prepare a nice meal in the fully equipped kitchen that has an oven, microwave, toaster, filter coffee maker, all utensils and cookware needed and a dishwasher. Serve the meal or bbq at the large dining table not just having to remove ones laptops & board games.
On the other hand why cook? Since there are a lot of restaurants, pubs & beach clubs to enjoy a very affordable meal. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to the city center and 20 minutes to walk to the beach. This magnificent beach with on one side the wild Atlantic Ocean where the sun sets splendidly and on the other side the Obidos Lagoon where one can swim safely. To return to the house at the end of the day, suntanned and tired in a pleasant way, to wash in one of the 2 bathrooms upstairs or the one in the basement and to fall asleep in a comfortable bed. To wake up the next morning to see the sun rise over the Obidos Lagoon from the bedroom window to greet another sunny day in Foz do Arelho.
Like to be active other than swimming in the lagoon, building sand castles or playing football on the beach? Go wave surfing! There is a surf school in the city center. Go surfing or sailing! There is a surf school near Obidos Lagoon. Go walking! There is a footpath along the coast. Go mountain biking! There is a bike rental in the city center. Mind you there are hills to climb.
Or visit nice places around such as Nazare (largest waves of Europe), Baleal (surfers paradise), Obidos (medieval city with spectacular walk on city wall), Caldas de Rainha (daily fruit market / supermarkets / shopping), Alcobaca (monastery) . A day trip to beautiful Lisbon is also possible, a 90km drive, or to other interesting places like Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. Enjoy your well deserved holiday!
