Just want to say that the villa was beautiful. Very clean, very old and very good views from the patio. We watched mini eruptions of Mt Etna on two nights. The grounds have lots of beautiful flowers making it a pleasure to stroll around. We had three younger people with us so the pool was used on a daily basis. It was clean and very refreshing. Chef Maria was recommended to us by Valeria, she was amazing. We asked her to cook for us on two nights and the food was beyond good. She does not speak English, but we communicated through the wonders of Iphones. We would strongly recommend her. Also on the recommendation of Valeria, was the taxi service of Andrea and his father. There was nine of us staying at the villa and they never disappointed us. To and from the airport and every where else in between, even shopping for food and the great Sicilian wines. Andrea even helped bag the groceries. The only thing that was a little different at the villa was the downstairs bedrooms, you had to go through one to get to your bedroom, but we managed because we were all up early so as not to miss the day. Everyone was more perfect than the day before. We only had one week in Sicily, being there for our son's wedding in Taormina and the Villa Sant Andrea on the beach, so we did not get to see enough of Sicily. If we did return, we would definitely stay at the villa again.
Thank you Valeria for everything.
