A lovely apartment with everything our family needed. Beautiful sea views out of the window. Very friendly owner who even left bread and milk for us on arrival. We hope to come back for a longer stay soon!
THE PROPERTY IS WELL EQUIPPED, SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE. EVERYTHING YOU NEED, CLEAN AND INVITING. WE HAD A GREAT TIME ENJOYING SEA VIEW AS WE ATE AND CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAING.

Perfect location.
Flat could not have been more perfect to center of towns slights, restaurants and pubs. Had tea every morning looking at the changing weather over the sea.
Easy train travel from both Gatwick and Heathrow and quick trips to Brighton, Eastbourane and Hastings. Do see the Seven Sister Chalt Cliffs outside of Eastbourne. Lots of walking but I found them more striking than Dover.
Bexhill itself had an antique car and bicycle festival while I was there and Herstmonceux Castle had an interesting Medieval Fair
Lovely experience of village life with advantage of access to lots to see and do. Even did an overnight to Paris.
Flat itself clean and comfortable, and France's, my hostess, could not have been more helpful.
I'd go back. No more positive review than that
The best, brightest sunlight of Bexhill in your living room...
I would definitely recommend this lovely flat which is in a very good location in Bexhill; just over the road from the sea and the de la Warr Pavilion, easy walking distance to the main shopping area, the lovely Egerton Park and the excellent little museum. For the seafront location, the road is less busy with cars and pedestrians than you might expect, the flat was very quiet, especially at night, with the bedroom overlooking the garden at the back. The living room I love...it is very spacious with so much sunlight coming through the large windows (which was from dawn until dusk the weeks I stayed) with a view of the sea. There is a large tv and digital radio, two shelves full of books and - a real bonus - a digital piano. The bed was so comfortable; such soft bedding, it was like sleeping inside a cloud. There was plenty of drawer space in the bedroom (with a good strong hairdryer in one) plus extra towels & bed linen. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped and the cooker is that ideal combination of electric fan oven and a gas hob. I would say it is perfect for two people, very spacious...although I think you could sleep more, there is a futon. It is on the ground floor with, maybe, 5 steps up to the front door?
I think the seafront is very clean, plenty of seats, two seafront kiosks for coffee & ice creams and, of course, the lovely colonnade in front of the Pavilion. The 99 bus runs along that whole coastline to Eastbourne and Brighton or Hastings the other way.
Perfectly located and we were lucky enough to get some winter sunshine, beautiful light in the large lounge, very happy to just sit and watch the sea. Croissants for breakfast were a nice touch. The flat was nice an warm, and is a character property, more like staying in a second home rather than an minimalist holiday let. Parking outside very easy. Great location for exploring Hastings and Rye, only wish we could have stayed a few extra days.
Excellent location - superb views of the sea and next to the De La Warr Pavillion. Very homely feel to the flat. Lovely comfortable bed and large lounge. Great that the owners are living close by in the basement if needed. We had a lovely week. Hope to visit again
Georgian property that was very reminiscent of an apartment we stayed at Weymouth. This style property is our style. This type of property is a maintanence money pit and in places it was noticeable BUT it had the original features and the apartment has very good facilities. It was very clean and the owner was very helpful. Views of the sea from the living room and the area is well placed for travelling. There is a bohemian style to the property and I would recommend this property.
Apartment close to beach front and De La War Pavilion with many unique creative touches. Very comfortable and warm. Ideally located for walks along the coast to Coombe Beach and for visiting Hastings.
Schöne Wohnung mit allem, was man braucht, hervorragende Lage, problemlose, freundliche Kommunikation mit Vermieter.
Einzig die Küche war nicht optimal sauber, Kühlschrank nicht leer.
Jederzeit empfehlenswert.
A beautifully decorated apartment with all the comforts of home, This along with the location and superb views made for a very enjoyable holiday.

Eine wunderschöne große Wohnung direkt am Meer
Wir haben die Wohnung sehr gemocht, es war warm, geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Es waren nur 2 Nächte und wir waren vorwiegend unterwegs. Die Lsge ist hervorragend um Südengland zu erkunden. Wir haben stets einen Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür gefunden. Im Umkreis befinden sich viele Restaurants und Pubs.

Perfect Place for a whole bunch of activities to do and see
Hey Frances, thank you so very much for hosting us. We felt so happy in the appartment and the brilliant view over the bay especially in the morninghours. Unfortunately I just found out today on our way back how wonderful the sunrise shines :-) We loved to stay and think of coming back again. We still can hear the sound of the bay. Thank you.

Lovely views all around.
We just returned from our trip from bexhill,we had a wonderful time.the flat was super,clean and airy and had all the necessities together with uplifting decor.the flat itself says a lot about our host Frances,who I’m sure must be a wonderful artistic and creative lady.we highly recommend this trip.
