My husband and I used to own and rent out a property abroad . After selling in 2015 We decided to buy a Lodge which is close to home, this enables us to look after ourselves and make sure everything is perfect for our guests . We have advertised with Holiday lettings for the past 3 years and maintained a 5* rating and Certificate of Excellence.

Unfortunately the extremely dirty windows gave the lodge a very neglected air which was a shame because the bathrooms and bedrooms were immaculate. Living room carpet was showing signs of wear, the freezer badly needed defrosting and contained the remains of previous occupants food. No cushions on sofas or coffee table as per photos, disappointed overalll

Great property, spacious and excellent location
Great space for 3 colleagues to rent have a few days away to work. Deceptively spacious lodge, comfy beds and powerful shower! Great location for mooching about North Lancashire/South Cumbria. Happy to recommend and would stay again with no hesitation.
Ideally located just off the M6 at Junction 35 , leaves many options to explore the local area.
Ideally located just south of lakes , ensuring plenty of options to discover Windermere, Coniston and surrounding lakes.
A pleasant 10 minute drive to Arnside an AONB.
The beautiful market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is a 15 minute drive
away and 5 minutes further is Ingleton and the fabulous Ingleton Waterfalls Walk.
The seaside resort of Morecambe is a 10 minute drive away
and the historic city of Lancaster 15 minutes away.
