Beautiful location and an awesome manager in Suzanne 👍👍
The unit is a bit dated, however we have always enjoyed staying there. (Approx7 yrs now)
The one major concern that we have is the small 2nd bedroom and bathroom relative to the main bedroom/bathroom. When two couples share the condo cost, it becomes a concern with such a sizeable difference in rooms. Also, it is not clear in the description that the rooms are not comparable. If updating is planned, walk in showers would be preferred.
Also, we understand that there is an issue with tides, however, a hydraulic Lift from the parking area to the residents entry area would be a major improvement over the aging and damaged concrete steps to transport luggage, etc.
Three weeks of fun
We have been coming to Harbor Square for 10 years and continue to return for the harbor views, amenities at the townhome and the wonderful service we recently be from the onsite property manager, Suzanne Weiss. It is close to everything and there are plenty of restaurants and shops - with a candy store across the street! Highly recommend.
Lovely time and place.
A gem in Camden, Maine.
Our family has visited Camden for 7 summers and this is the first time we have stayed at Harbor Square. After one day it was clear why there are so many regulars that come back to Harbor Square every summer. Not only is there a fabulous view from the back deck but the condo is so comfortable with lots of natural light and more views from the living room and master bedroom. Our family spent many hours just sitting on the back deck watching the many boats come in and out of the Camden harbor. The property is also steps from town. Want to take a schooner ride, eat a good meal, pick up some groceries at the French & Brawn or shop, you are steps away from all of it.
The property manager, Suzanne, is also so accommodating. Suzanne lives on site so if you need anything she is easily accessible.
This is the type of property you actually don't want others to know about.
Thank you so much. You are wonderful guests and I look forward to seeing you in the future.
A special place
Harbor Square is one of those exceptional places. The perfect mix of luxury accommodation with the excitement of being right in town with the amazing view of the harbor and all it’s going’s on
Like I said, a special place
Thank you, Carol. I was thrilled when you extended your stay, not once, but twice! It was a pleasure to have you here. I'm sure our paths will cross again. Happy sailing!
Our guests always comment on the beautiful views, the easy in-town walking of downtown Camden filled with shops, library, parks. They also tell us that we are very friendly and that the Town Houses are comfortably appointed, have great artwork by Maine artists, and that the kitchen and dining cupboards are well stocked with everything they need. And, if it isn't there, we will find it for you! There are so many things to do in Camden and in the area. Route One is the easiest way to visit all of MidCoast Maine, too. Don't miss a visit to Port Clyde, take the boat to Monhegan Island, Visit the world renowned Farnsworth Art Museum and its Wyeth Center, sail out of Camden Harbor, hike, bike... Camden and all of Mid Coast Maine provide something for everyone...
