The owner, Jeremy Goldstein has made 32 North Ann Street a project since he purchased the property in 2002, slowly making improvements, while running his business in the building directly next door. Over the past 20 years, Jeremy has built a successful multi-disciplinary real estate practice. Jeremy graduated cum laude from Duke University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy Studies. He held salesperson licenses in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia and currently maintains broker licenses in North Carolina and South Carolina. Mr. Goldstein advises private and institutional investors nationwide in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial property. He married an Asheville native, and together they moved to Asheville to raise their four sons. He spends his “free” time traveling with his family to their sons’ sporting events. Eventually, he hopes to get back to hiking and biking in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. But for now he manages to get to Crossfit — unfortunately well before the sun comes up, in addition to serving as Chairman of Asheville Planning & Zoning Commission and board member to Irene Wortham Center.

What makes this Apartment unique
In addition to the superb location, the Apartment has been completely renovated with brand new appliances and furnishings. The beautiful artwork is of the surrounding mountains and local graffiti art. Travelers will have the benefit of knowing the owner is in the building next door, as well as assistance from his friendly reservationist, Sarah, who has an intimate knowledge of downtown Asheville and will work to provide guests with an easy booking process and most importantly, recommendations for a memorable Asheville experience.

The location was good. The property was about 3 blocks from stores and restaurants. Easy on site parking.
The apartment is nicely furnished and was very clean. It was easy to get to all the restaurants and activities we were interested in. Unfortunately, the walls are pretty thin. A couple of nights, we were kept awake by noisy guests. The last night of our visit, we were the only guests and it was great!
We are pleased to know that you enjoyed the thoughtful decor and spotlessness. Some noise transfer should be expected as any building would be, and this is a multi-tenanted building. Each guest is notified in the terms of the house rules, they are part of the agreement when renting. We encourage all guests to notify our management team if any difficulty arises, we are happy to fix it. If we are not made aware of any issues while they are happening, it is difficult to resolve them.
The owner did not allow a late checkout and complained that we were too loud when we were not.
Sonya, We are sorry to see the title of your review. We hate to think this is in response of our inability to accommodate a late checkout for you. However, as we state in the arrival directions, requests for early check in or late check out must be provided no less than 48 hours in advance. We received your request less than 24 hours in advance and at that point our cleaning staff is not able to rearrange their schedule. Our management team works hard to satisfy our guests to the best of our ability to at all times. The comfort and security of our guests is our first priority. We were informed the guest occupying the apartment below your’s that there was late night activity, so we reviewed the security camera clips and confirmed there were several visitors returning to the building after 1am. This is what the guests upstairs said:
Side note - we love the apartment but the upstairs neighbors came home being pretty loud (130am) and stayed up for an hour or two after that. You can hear every single step they take. Is that a rental as well? I wasn’t sure whether to knock on the door or see if you knew the owner such that he could maybe say something. What’s best to try and avoid the same thing happening tonight?
We take complaints about noise seriously and try to respectfully remind everyone who is staying in each of the four apartments the following:
We are reminding all guests in each of the four apartments to be mindful of others staying in the building and to be aware this is a multi-tenanted building. We are not a hotel but rather legal residential lodging and depend on our guests to follow the rules of being quiet after 10pm.
When we receive a complaint about noise during a guests stay we make a point to remind everyone so to be fair to all and to avoid any accusatory, singling out as we know it’s sometimes difficult to determine which apartment the noise originates. It is disappointing you found this to be rude as we were trying our best to be fair and considerate of all guests. We are saddened this lent to a review less than 5 stars.
Great stay in Asheville
Went to Asheville for a girls weekend getaway and this apartment was perfect! Walking distance to downtown and a short drive to the Biltmore. We’ll definitely stay here again if we come back.

Very clean and accommodating.
The apartment was just as the listing depicted- very clean and accommodating. They included everything you need to be comfortable. The location was great for walking to explore all the different areas of Asheville - close to downtown, but also easy to access the other neighborhoods. Like the reviews said, it is next to a community services location, but we never had any issues or safety concerns and it was generally quiet. Easy check in and check out which was much appreciated.
