This secluded and quiet studio bedsit has a private entrance and shady courtyard within the grounds of a private villa with extensive gardens and a shared pool. Recently renovated all amenities are 2 years old or less.
A very short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops and bars, yet very quiet and peaceful.
The studio has private off road parking and is wheelchair accessible.
It would suit golfers as Pestana, Gramacho, Pinto and Vale de Milho Golf courses are 5 minutes drive away.
Supermarkets are also 5 minutes away: Intermarché, Aldi, Apolonia, Pingo Doce and Auchan.
The shady courtyard is an excellent hideaway during the heat of the day and a secluded spot to read and relax.
A maid service (once a week) is available and we can arrange a welcome pack to your specification containing essential food items.

Best stay in Carvoeiro!

We experienced a perfect stay in Carvoeiro at Casa Casilda. Madeleine was the perfect host, always attentive to our needs and there for any questions we had. Her place is well situated for walking into town and her magnificent gardens were a pleasure to hang out in when we just felt like chilling at home. We definitely recommend a stay here when visiting this part of the Algarve!

Private Studio for two.

The Studio is well equipped with all you could require for a successful stay. A short walk, downhill, will take you into the town for a good selection of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. The two dogs are so so friendly and great fun to have around. Madeleine the owner could not do enough to make our stay as stress free as possible. The garden is stunningly beautiful and the pool is perfect. A great place for two people to relax and enjoy the wonderful Portuguese hospitality.

Fantastic Getaway!

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay in Carvoeiro. A smaller beach town, with wonderful and challenging hikes both west and east of town. Many restaurants with ocean views to choose from all within walking distance. Madeleine is a superb host and was attentive and informative and her apartment provided everything we needed. Had our morning coffees in the sun, headed out for our daily hikes, and then relaxed in the afternoon under an umbrella by the pool. Her gardens are a wonderful backdrop to unwind. We are looking forward to our next trip to Carvoeiro!

Lovely little haven

Run by the affable Madeleine who couldn't have made us more welcome, whilst also maintaining our privacy at all times. The studio was small but perfectly formed. The bed was nice and comfortable and the kitchenette had all the essentials. The private patio was lovely at night and use of Madeleine's beautiful garden and pool by day. Along with little visits from her 2 adorable and friendly dogs. A 5-10 minute walk down a steep hill gets you to the heart of Carvoeiro and if you cannot face the walk up hill home, you can jump in a taxi for under 5 Euros. Would definitely recommend.

A real home from home. Madeline the host was exceptional, friendly, informative, humorous and could not do enough for us. Her dogs were a big plus too, friendly and made our stay more memorable. The studio apartment had everything we needed and was a nice size for the two of use. Good pressure and hot water from the shower. Lovely setting too, the garden with pool was great and we felt like we had our own villa. We did really feel like one of the family with Madeline, snoopy and tippy! We will return. Ps knocked a star off the location as that hill after a visiting a few hostelries 😉

Fantastique

Merci à Madeleine pour son accueil et ses précieux conseils. Emplacement idéal pour visiter l ouest de l Algarve et se rendre à pied à la plage. Le logement est très propre et calme. La piscine et le jardin sont très bien entretenus et à notre disposition. Nous recommandons cette location. Les visites de Snoopy et Milou nous manquent ! Nous reviendrons très certainement 🙂

Un séjour merveilleux

Nous avons passés un agréable séjour dans un endroit paisible et accueillant. L’appartement est très bien situé, à proximité du centre ville, des commerces et de l’océan. Es war ein Traum von einer Unterkunft. Madeleine war eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, sie hat uns viele hilfreiche Tipps und Empfehlungen gegeben und wir haben den Aufenthalt bei ihr sehr genossen. Das Studio ist zwar nicht groß, aber sehr gemütlich und geschickt eingerichtet, mit allem was man für einen Aufenthalt zu zweit benötigt. Es war sehr sauber und das Bett sehr gemütlich. Wir haben jeden Morgen die Möglichkeit genutzt, an einem sonnigen Platz im Garten zu frühstücken. In den Hängematten und dem Pool zu entspannen war ein Traum. Wenn wir das nächste Mal nach Carvoeiro kommen, werden wir immer wieder bei Madeleine übernachten.

A traveller’s dream.

Madeleine is a wonderful host who helped us with everything from finding where to attend a Sunday service , best beaches in the vicinity or an unique shop for ceramic tiles and an optical shop to fix my glass. It is really a sweet home away from home, not to mention her beautiful tropical garden. We stayed in her place for 18 days , only wanting more to return in our next trip……..

What can we say! From the second we arrived till the moment we left everything was perfect. Madeline was the best host and the apartment was fully equipped with everything needed for our stay. such a welcome surprise to find a complimentary bottle of rose wine in the fridge such a kind gesture. The gardens and pool area are stunning, the hammocks a lovely place to snooze after a walk into town. a real plus as dog lovers was Snoopy and Tippy who made us feel loved and welcome everyday. Time went incredibly fast and cant wait to come see you all again next year. lovely memories made and great value for money 10 out of 10 all the way. love Mandy and Karl

Clean apartment with beautiful garden

I had a wonderful week at Madeleine's Studio apartment. Madeleine is a very accommodating, helpful and kind host who is always up for a chat but also never presses any long conversations on you and respects your privacy. Madeleine's two dogs are a delight as well - they usually come say hi once and leave you alone afterwards. The pool/garden is just beautiful and its layout offers you lots of places to relax. I enjoyed my stay a lot and highly recommend it to others!

Appartement bien équipé, bonne literie, très propre. Petite terrasse ombragée devant l'appartement. Accès à la piscine chez la propriétaire .Très beau jardin avec de très nombreuses variétés de fleurs et arbustes. La propriétaire est très sympathique et discrète. Elle nous a donné de nombreux conseils pour nos sorties resto , randonnés et visites. Nous avons très vite sympathisés avec Madeleine qui parle plusieurs langues dont le Français. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Recently retired and moved to this award winning destination in the Algarve, I have lived all over the world and worked as a linguist. I am a people person and would love to share this bit of paradise with you. I am a keen gardener and have recently landscaped some areas and refreshed other established sections of the existing garden.

Why they chose this property

The villa is very close to Carvoeiro beach on the Rampa leading down to the town. We are "of the town" but sufficiently far away to avoid the bar noise and bustle of the streets. This is a peaceful secluded spot and yet a mere walk away from the action.
The pool is only shared by myself and my studio guests.

What makes this property unique

Off road parking. Quiet residential location. Pool and gardens shared with the owner.
Shady and cool when the sun gets to be too much. The villa gardens are an extra special feature of the property, and I would be happy to give a detailed tour to any keen gardener. There are some most unusual succulents and a wide variety of drought tolerant plants.
