Surullisen surullinen BARNDOMINUM on nyt vuokrattavissa mihin tahansa tilanteeseen !!! Isännöi omaa yksityistilaisuutta, ulkoilmahäää, tyttöjen ostosviikonloppua tai perheen yhdistämistä.

Kuten useimmat muistuttavat, tässä ylellisesti varustetussa, täysin kunnostetussa navetassa on 5 makuuhuonetta, "Grand Dining Hall" (joka edelleen mahtuu armeijaan). Oleskelualue / Den, trendikäs keittiö, olohuone, aamiaishuone, 2 kylpyhuonetta. Äskettäin lisätty yli 2000 neliömetrin ulkotiloihin peittopatio, terassi, pergola, ulkokeittiö kaasugrilli. Sohvat, tuolit, penkit ja ruokapöytä mahtuvat valtavaan ryhmään nauttien takkapöydistä lämpöä ja tunnelmaa varten! Kiinteistö on aidattu sähköisellä sisäänkäynnin portilla ja kaukana tien ja ympäröivien naapureiden.

Tämä upea koti sijaitsee yli 16 hehtaarin suuruisella tammenpuiden peittämällä yksityisellä maalla, yksityisellä lampilla ja järvellä, luonnonkukkia. Kuusi näistä hehtaarista on voimakkaasti metsäinen ja täydellinen villieläinmatkailulle. Kiinteistö on kätkeytyneenä keväällä syötetyn (20 hehtaarin) bassoa täytetyn järven rantaan, joka sopii kaikille kalastajille. Vierailusi parannetaan seuraavilla mukavuuksilla:

Kätevästi vain 1 mailin päässä I-35: stä, vain 9 km: n päässä McLane-stadionista ja 10 km: n päässä Magnolia Marketsista, "Siilot". Cameron Park, Cameron Park Zoo, Texas Rangers Museum, Dr. Pepper Museum, Mayborn Museum, Brazos River ja River Square Centerin kaupat ovat kaikki 15 minuutin ajomatkan päässä.

Tätä omaisuutta ei koskaan käytetty, koska Meek-perhe oli siirretty pois valtiosta ennen kuin he pystyivät miehittämään kodin !! Se pysyy melkein identtisenä sen kanssa, mitä esitettiin FIXER UPPER -sarjan 3. kauden jaksossa 6! Tunnet varmasti ympäröivän ympäristön niin sisältä kuin ulkoa. Voin taata, että et tule pettymään!

* Huomaa, että tämä maa on luonnollisessa muodossaan ja sillä on hieno karu maasto. Järvien ja puiden peittämät alueet pidetään hieman orgaanisina ja ovat osa nostalgiaa, joka tekee Barndominium-kokemuksesta niin ainutlaatuisen! Kalastus, melonta, kelluva aula tai vain uinti järvessä ovat tervetulleita. Huomaa vain, että siinä ei ole valkoisia hiekkarantoja, joten pankeissa voi olla joitain korkean ruohoalueen tai kelluvia Lilly-tyyppisiä tyynyjä vuodenajasta ja säästä riippuen.

Cozy private area. Plenty of space to spread out. There was sand in one of the top bunks in the bed, so two people ended up having to share a bed space. The kitchen was fully stocked and loved having access to a rooftop deck. The pond has a lot of sticks so it really was not fishable. The property is peaceful and is close enough to all the things Waco.

A beautiful home, on beautiful property. Perfect for large gatherings. Perfect for a quiet get away. Plenty of seating and gathering space, whether inside, or outside on one of the patios. Privacy to perfection, whether indoors via separate bedrooms, or outdoors, via distance from the public and the surrounding trees. Absolutely the best stocked VRBO ever, with comfortable, quality items, plentiful kitchen stock. The host was easy to contact and checked via text, to be sure everything was just right. It was all above and beyond our expectations. I will politely suggest, especially on behalf of the menfolk in our group, that having better access to the lake for fishing and kayaking would've been greatly appreciated. The guys also thought a Blackstone griddle would be awesome. The ladies would've appreciated a cordless vacuum. We definitely recommend this beautiful home and would look forward to another stay.

4th of July Getaway

We had a wonderful stay with every comfort from home! It actually rained the entire weekend so we were so grateful for a beautiful home to enjoy being cooped up. We really loved cooking in the beautiful kitchen and eating at the huge dining room table! Big bonus for us that it was dog friendly! We would stay again:-)

This property has a lot of potential but needs some TLC to be a great stay. You really aren’t able to fish or swim. It needs some sort of dock to get past all the buildup at the bank. Overall we did enjoy our stay but there were just a few little things that need to be addressed.

The Chip & Joanne Experience

Being a big "Fixer Upper" and Chip & Joanna Gaines fan, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to book this property! The grounds and home were beautiful, and you could tell it was totally Joanna's vibe inside. We even watched the Fixer Upper episode where they remodeled the Barndominium while we were there...that was fun! We were looking around at everything as they were doing it, which was really entertaining. (Season 3, Episode 7).The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The property was fairly well stocked with household items, minus a few minor things (salt & pepper, napkins), but nothing to complain about.The grounds were pretty and it was quiet and peaceful there. It was entertaining to watch the family of deer pass by through the large french doors.The banquet table is so impressive! We ate meals there since one of our party was elderly and couldn't really do the stairs to go up where the kitchen was. That actually took a little getting used to (having the kitchen and living area upstairs), and may be something to consider for future visitors.Overall, we really enjoyed it. It wasn't just a place to stay, it was an experience!

The Barndeminium is exactly as expected. We had a great time and the property is within 15 minutes of every attraction we attended. We visited the Silos, the Castle, and did Zoo lights.

Thanksgiving getaway

Traveling from several locations, our extended family enjoyed a relaxing Thanksgiving get together. The large table made the dining experience more special and the views and weather were perfect. From playing games, to fishing and breaking bread together, this experience was one to be cherished and remembered.

Lovely but not functional

The property and barndominium are lovely. Unfortunately every outside door had huge wasps flying around their nests. We tried spraying them but unfortunately couldn't get them under control. We couldnt let the children in our party outside because of this. Clearly those wasps that Chip tried to get rid of came back! Our next issue was the A/C unit could not keep the upstairs where the kitchen and main living room are cool. During the day it was a uncomfortable 84 degrees. We were there 3 days and it was never under 84 inside upstairs during the day. We had to go buy fans. The downstairs large dining table is just wasted space. Its hard to believe anyone would want their dining room on a different floor than their kitchen. The bunkbeds have no safety rails on them so we could not let children sleep in them. The ceilings fans are dangerously low to the top bunks also. Even with the problems we enjoyed ourselves and got a kick out of watching the Fixer Upper Barndominium episode while sitting in the actual BARNDOMINIUM.

Multiple family weekend getaway

If you like chip and Joanna Gaines, you should love this place. It’s definitely missing a bit of up keep though. Positives -great for large groups -comfortable beds -lots of cookware/utensils -land for kids to run around on -very easy to check in and out Not so great… -kitchenware was all a bit dirty and everything was just shoved into drawers -was told there was swimming opportunities but the “lake” was basically brown stagnant water and not really swimmable. -the kitchen is on the 2nd floor and the large table in the picture is on floor 2 so not super accessible for meals Overall it served its purpose but at that price point, I expected a bit more in terms of the facility but I’m sure part of the price has to do with the fact that it’s sort of famous??

Family Time

We had a great time with our adult children, there was plenty of room and the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. It was close enough to town to take advantage of see the Dr Pepper Museum and for a day of shopping. Perfect weekend getaway!!

Barndominium

We had a nice stay overall, but there were a few things that I feel we should note. We paid for early check in at 3 pm and when we got there it was HOT! The temperature was at 78 and we literally did not get relief until 3:45 AM! The house really held that heat and even though we understand Texas heat, we still can’t justify being that uncomfortable temperature wise, especially after the sun had gone down. The duvet cover in one room had a questionable stain (blood like) so that was tossed to the corner right away. There were several spider webs throughout the house that made me wonder when it was cleaned. The other thing was the yellow jacket and wasps nests around the house. The nests were recent, but it would have been nice to not have to deal with that. They had spray cans outside to deter them, but due to severe allergies we tried to avoid all together. Has anyone ever reported feel a “presence”? We had several paranormal experiences independently that I think collectively we decided were figments of our imagination until we all discovered during breakfasts on Sunday that we had all experienced something. The hosts were very communicative so I will praise them on that, but I think one visit at the Barndominium will do for us!💙🙏💙

Epic Easter Egg hunt

Enjoyed our time there. We had a great Easter egg hunt in the back. The grandkids loved the Lego room and the swing set!

Great place for family gatherings.

Stayed with many family members ages 8-78 who came for a family members funeral. We were able to share our meals and our stories and just hang out together without being enclosed in a room. Plenty of space to walk, play and cook. Immediately checked to see if this listing was available for thanksgiving but it was not. Would highly recommend.

Great Family Spot

We loved the barn for hosting our family for a Baylor game weekend. It was comfortable with plenty of beds for everyone.

Lovely

We were so glad to have a nice place to come home to during the weekend of the Baylor v. Utah game. (Go Utes!!) According to my count, this home sleeps 11, tops. Maybe more if you have mostly little kids. Communication with the homeowners was excellent. Towels and dishes aplenty. Not too terribly far from BU/downtown. Lots of land for the kiddies to run around on. Kitchen is on the 2nd floor and dining table is on the 1st floor. Kind of weird. The bathrooms are both shared (no en suite/private) - one per floor.

Graduation Celebration

The Barnomidium was a unique and luxurious experience that was close to Baylor's campus. Incredible outdoor area and beautifully decorated interior with lots of amenities. We love to stay here again.

Although I had never seen this property in person, I too was mesmerized by the transformation I saw on the show. Although I knew the owners & the Gaines through our church, I never dreamed I would one day have the honor of purchasing it for myself. Just so happened that the Meek family (who did the show), were forced to relocate out of state before moving in. This gave me the opportunity to purchase it, with a stroke of luck, perfect timing & Gods grace, I was able to make this place my own! One day I hope to build a home on the land that is simply incredible!

I immediately fell in love with the Barndominium on the show, however when I saw it in person, it was more spectacular than I had ever imagined!! With the magnificent 16 acres of land and spring-fed lake it sits up on, it's truly breathtaking. You just can't really appreciate it until you have see it personally. There is definitely something magical about this place and its no wonder Chip and Joann were ecstatic about the opportunity to transform this Barn. The lake, Im told, is filled with bass and catfish for those fishing enthusiast. The land is ideal for exploring nature and connecting with its creator. I am honored & blessed to call it mine & I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to share it with others. I am confidant you will share in my sentiments once your experience it firsthand.
