I just loved my short stay at this amazing, scenic, cozy and cool property, this will be my new self care serene get away! It was so quiet and lovely sitting on the upper deck listening to the birds and I even had squirrel peeping in my window from the tree yesterday morning. The location is just far enough out to feel like a get away yet close enough to get to downtown activities as well as the hospital where I was working. I had just what I needed to be comfortable and no TV was a bonus. Can’t wait to return!

Loved our get out of town weekend stay in the treehouse. Definitely will stay here again on our next trip to Waco.

We had a wonderful stay at the treehouse! Our family loved the unique style of the treehouse as well as the beautiful property. We met up with friends for lunch, did some shopping and enjoyed the beautiful weather!

Great location with a great view. It is a short drive into town, yet you are very much in the woods! The treehouse was very spacious, quiet, and relaxing. I would recommend this treehouse for anyone.

It was over a pretty good stay. Just didn’t like how the owners felt the need to come over on our 4th of July holiday to ask us why we have guest(our family) over when everyone was just outside doing the usual Fourth of July stuff. Didn’t even include us popping popping fireworks just us folks outside cooking and being social. It stated no events okay it wasn’t a party it wasn’t a family reunion. It was a family gathering with kids and adults. Like all other families. Our fault for assuming it would be fine since mostly everyone stayed outside and not in the teeehosue itself. We would definitely not stay here again and would not recommend it for anyone who wants to stay and see family over a short weekend.

Thanks for your review. It’s unfortunate that a disgruntled guest leaves a low review solely based on the fact that we were concerned over a large gathering we happen to see on the evening of the 4th. Like many STR’s, we have a strict NO PARTY/GATHERINGS at our treehouses. When we heard the music, saw 5-6 vehicles parked by the unit and lots of people outside we naturally wanted to inquire and we did so very politely. We didn’t ask anyone to leave. This guest never bothered to ask us if they could invite a large group of family nor did they even advise us. It’s a simple house rule they chose to ignore so yes, as hosts, we had every right to stop and check on what was going on at our rental. I think they’ll find the same at any other rental they stay in the future. Hosts deserve to know what’s happening on their property. It’s just a common courtesy.

40th Anniversary Stay

A lovely, private, clean treehouse. A great place to stay for a young couple or a young family with a couple of 5-12 year old kids. FYI, the stairs to the second level are very steep so not ideal for 60 knees.

Overall the stay was fine. However, the stay was not clean. We had to wash the coffeemaker, we’re avid coffee drinkers and it was very dirty, inside and out. It was also dusty.

Oh goodness! This is the first review we’ve ever received about a dirty coffeemaker in 3 years! Can’t imagine our housekeeper not cleaning it. Or how it was that dirty after a previous 2 night stay with 2 adults. We are quite surprised and apologize for this!
