Beautiful new home. Kitchen stocked well. Pretty clean.
Nice size bedrooms but need a TV in each. Only in 1 bedroom. No curtains on big windows and could see neighbors and visa versa. Needs shades or curtains, especially in loft area if using for sleeping. Beach is about 10 blocks away. It's walkable but only for those who like to walk a lot. Backyard is small but nice.
Overall property is really nice and everything to do in Rehobeth is close by. There are some awesome bike trails close by. Would stay here again.
Spacious brand new house with a few glitches
This is a big, well designed house with lots of room for two or more families--we had three families staying in the house with plenty of room for everyone. The lay out of the first floor allows for everyone to be together with more than enough room and it's easy to see the kids if you need to keep an eye on them. Having three master suites was very convenient. The house and everything in it is new and clean. While the kitchen had everything you could need the rest of the house was sparsely appointed. We had to rent linens and there were no extra blankets, only light bedspreads on each bed. There were minimal amounts of paper products, no tissues for example, so we brought everything ourselves. There were, however, adequate cleaning products.
We did run into a few glitches: the wifi didn't work and the basement door (to the router) was locked with a passcode we didn't have. One wall in the living room (where the TV was) had no power and the fuse box was in a locked shed on the side of the house (also didn't have the passcode) and the information in the house rules regarding both issues was not accurate. When we initially arrived at the house there was no running water. The water was restored within about 90 minutes and the house manager (who we had to bother on Thanksgiving) was gracious and helpful in getting the two other problems fixed by the next day.
Also worth noting: it is not shown in the photo but there is another house being built exactly next door. While we were not bothered by construction (holiday weekend) it could be a consideration. And both that house and the one on the other side are only an arms length away--you can see right in the windows so you don't get any privacy on the first floor (bedrooms have blinds). I would recommend the house for adults who may be spending a lot of time at the beach or the outlets.
This was a very nice home, clean and neat. Very large kitchen and dining table. Great TV room where we could all gather. The beds were clean and comfortable. There was another TV gathering area upstairs for the kids to use. It was a little less than an mile walk to the boardwalk & beach, south of Rehoboth. We stayed in early October and enjoyed great dining, shopping, and time on the boardwalk.
Beautiful house that was perfect for our group!
The house was gorgeous and well decorated and clean, and had everything we needed- for the most part. My favorite parts- great kitchen with every tool you need, plus an awesome and huge grill! Beds were comfortable, everything was nice and well maintained, and the house had wifi. Not so awesome parts- No sheets or towels, and 10 am sharp checkout is a little early. Other than those two things, everything was perfect!
Hi Emily, we are so glad you had a great time & experience! For the 2017 we are going to offer an in house linen rental service and due to the quick turn over times we can't do much for the check out time. We really hope to see you again and thank you for staying @ our home.
