What a fantastic stay. Just got back from a wonderful 2 week holiday at this amazing French villa. Quentin and Liz were absolutely superb and the perfect hosts. The Villa had everything you could possibly need. Was in a great location to all the main attractions but far enough away from the tourist areas to give you a real French village feel. We will definitely be back. Village a short walk away for all essentials. Pool is amazing and beds super comfortable. Highly recommend.

The host and the house were both perfect, nice and enjoyable. It was exactly the kind of place we wanted to find in order to begin our vacation with a calm and peaceful environment. It was nicely located outside of the city of Nice. The accessibility to local amenities like a bakery and a grocery store are very easy to find. For us it was delightful. We had a great time there.

We had a lovely week with our family of 4. Liz and Quentin our great hosts and take care of everything you would need. As it was the beginning of may it was really nice that the poole was heated. The location of the house is in a nice little village with a bakery and supermarket, and all the beautiful places to visit are closeby. We would love to come back some time.

The beauty of traveling truly comes from the people you meet along the way. Liz and Quentin get many a traveler, but every one of them they make feel at home. We brought along our 3 year old daughter who loved the pool and the kitties and the terrace and all the little touches for children in this quaint apartment. The quiet area of Gattieres feels similar to even the views you would get from Gourdon and definitely better than Eze. While Liz and Quentin will respect your privacy, please do take them up on the offer to have a drink or hors d'oeuvres because they have wonderful stories to tell. Thank you for having us and always welcome in the state of Idaho!

Had a delightful stay, Liz and Quentin made us feel very welcome and were very knowledgeable of the local area. The property was lovely with a stunning view and the pool was much enjoyed, particularly by our daughter. Gattières is a lovely village with all the amenities that may be needed. The flat is even better than in the picture. Well located, supermarket and bakery at a walk king distance and only 20 minutes away of nice. Liz and Quentin were really helpful in providing guidance.

A beautiful location with stunning views. The property was lovely with lots of charm and character. It was also well equipped with everything we needed and was very comfortable. Excellent stay

The location is perfect. The charming little town is in close walking distance. It has a little supermarket, a bakery, a restaurant and a take away pizza-place. The pool is great, the view is great and the hosts are both discreet, warm and welcoming. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent location, lovely house, friendly owners

Spent an excellent week at Le Contadour. The property was lovely and clean. The views were amazing and Quentin and Liz were perfect hosts - there when you needed them and invisible the rest of the time.

Relaxing Haven

Amazing welcome here - we loved our stay at this property. Very relaxing, cosy, clean home. Gorgeous pool and fabulous view. Slept so well in comfortable beds and honestly didn’t want to leave. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

This is a truly wonderful place and it looks even more nice in reality vs. The pictures. It’s a very peaceful and calm place but in only some minutes you reach all the big hotspots! We visited Monaco , Cannes , Antibe and the near by beaches really effortless and in no time . The hosts are amazing and the entire family loved the place . It’s extremely tasteful decorated and very well equipped. Nothing is missing . The pool is very nice

Superb hospitality!

Lix and Quintin are the consummate hosts. Le Contadour is a wonderful place to stay for a trip to the French Riviera. It's inland from the coast in Gattières, providing good access to the lovely hill villages nearby.

We had a beautiful relaxing stay, the views are magnificent and my children enjoyed having the pool all to themselves especially for those late night swims. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you can think of which was lovely. Everything is very close but you definitely need a car and to be a confident driver abroad. Liz and Quentin are wonderful people and full of knowledge and stories if you would like to chat or you can just go about your holiday and they will leave you be.

Liz and Quentin were wonderful host. Our stay was wonderful. We would highly recommend them.

This property was absolutely beautiful. The villa had everything and more that you could want. It was very close to many towns within a short 10 min drive. My husband walked every morning to the towns bakeries for fresh baguette and croissants. The location was perfect. Liz and Quentin were the perfect host. They were so helpful with suggestions for restaurants and day trips. Hopefully we can visit again.

June trip

We had a lovely time staying in Liz and Quentin’s property. The location was brilliant with beautiful views down the valley and a wonderful pool to relax in. They were great at giving us recommendations locally of where to eat and we enjoyed drinks with them one evening, getting to enjoy the views of their property. Very generous hosts. Just what we were looking for and we’d love to come back!

Beautiful and restful oasis

We had a lovely 2 weeks at Liz and Quentin’s gorgeous place. They are the ultimate hosts making sure we had everything we needed including recommendations for places to visit and great restaurants. Whatever the plan was for the day we always ended up back at the pool lounging peacefully under the olive tree. We ate breakfast every morning on the balcony overlooking the valley and sometimes we stayed in evenings and cooked as all of the kitchen utensils and bbqs provided. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Honeymoon in Heaven

Liz and Quentin fabulous hosts. The property was absolutely gorgeous and exceeded all our expectations. They helped make our honeymoon special, offering excellent advice, always available and were lovely people. They made us a special dinner once they knew we had gotten married, and we all became fast friends in a very short time. We will go back again and we only wish we could more convey how wonderful they are as hosts.

A real gem!

This is a gem of an apartment and we feel very lucky to have found it. Liz and Quentin are wonderful hosts, they gave us a warm welcome and made our stay extremely comfortable. The amenities are excellent, the apartment had everything we needed for a wonderful stay, the heated pool was a huge hit with our children and having use of the garden terrace and bbq was a real bonus. The area has magnificent scenery and the views from the apartment are really impressive. Gatierres is very pretty and only a short walk away. The location meant we could easily explore a number of beautiful and interesting places including Nice, Vence, Tourrettes, Antibes, Cannes and Monaco. I would defintely recommend to anyone. A huge thank you to Liz and Quentin for your hospitality, it was lovely to meet you both xx

Lovely peaceful break

The villa is wonderfully quiet and the ambience of the area is perfect if you are looking for relaxation. The hosts were wonderfully helpful but also very careful to be respectful of your privacy. The village is really convenient for lovely croissants and has great pizza you must try whilst you stay. We wanted a restful break and the chance to see Nice, Cannes and Monaco. We achieved all of this. The only downside was the stress of driving but all of these places were really close and so perfect for relaxed day trips. As for the villa the beds were very comfortable and the views were spectacular. The kitchen has everything you'll need and we have to admit we did take advantage of the scrabble game! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the area and would like to thank Liz and Quentin for being such lovely hosts.
