We did not know about the fire alarm and as soon as you let us know, we notified our homeowner about the issues you encountered and organized to visit the property and address them. Upon arrival, we provide fresh linens, bath towels, and hand towels. We also provide a small welcome pack to get you started for the first night. We do not provide face towels. We do apologize for the delayed kid’s welcome pack. Although we understand your reluctance to book with us again, this is not the usual experience our guests have we would be honoured if you would give us the chance to redeem ourselves next time. Our homes, including the Lovely Chelsea Home near The Thames, are fully managed by us at UnderTheDoormat, an award-winning premium home-stay provider. We host thousand of guests in houses. Because our houses are real homes, normal wear and tear is a common thing. As already explained, Our Lovely Chelsea Home near The Thames is not only a rental as the homeowners have been in their beloved flat until March and will come back during the year. As per the photo report taken less than one hour before your arrival, and that we shared with you by email to show you that the listing on the website is accurately showing the current status of the home, the flat was prepared and cleaned for your stay as per our usual standards. None of the photos of the report, or the photos you provided by email, was showing stained carpets or furniture and broken shades that you are mentioning in this review. You sent us photos of a door that is already in our listing because we show all the niggles of our flats to our guests, and a photo of the utility cupboard where the owners keep their belongings and the most used items like the iron board and the clothes airer. It is only through constructive feedback from valuable guests like yourself that we can constantly review our standards and practices and make necessary improvements.
