Lovely private villa spacious and comfortable we wish we could stay longer. Hosts were great recommending things to see and do, and where to eat. I really appreciated the little touches and features that removed the hassle of renting a villa eg. Soap and towels available at every sink, adequate number of tea towels, sufficient washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets for the entire stay, plenty of plastic tumblers to use poolside.

We had an incredible stay at Villa Di Giovanni. On our arrival we were greeted by a welcome hamper which included, bread, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, jam, beer, wine, juice and water. This was completely unexpected but very much appreciated and we acknowledge the effort to make our stay a very welcoming one. The Villa has all the amenities that you would need for a comfortable holiday stay from dish soap and cloths, utensils, bbq & charcoal, towels etc. This villa offers so much in terms of home comforts to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The meet and greet from Ian the following day was relaxed and Ian was incredibly helpful in advising where the best supermarkets were, places to eat and any questions we had were answered as he is very knowledgable of the local area and Corfu itself. The Villa was immaculately clean and well presented on our arrival, there were no maintenance issues or anything that would compromise our stay at the Villa. The location was great - situated between Acharavi and Kassiopi it proved a great base for visiting both resorts and the beautiful old town of Perithia was just 10 mins further up into the hillside. I would definitely recommend having a hire car due to the location of the Villa. The communication with both Posarelli Villas and the caretakers of the Villa in Corfu was excellent and overall we had the most wonderful family holiday. Thank you to all who contributed to making our stay a stress free, comfortable, relaxing one - I would definitely recommend both the Company and Villa to any friends looking for a large rental for a family holiday.

A very enjoyable stay in a lovely villa. The pool is large and therefore kids were thoroughly entertained. Angela and Ian were very welcoming and helpful throughout. All in all we loved the villa and felt the village was a perfect setting within easy reach of the vibrant Kassiopi.

Great stay

Beautiful villa in a great location, & perfect for our group of 8. Plenty of space for everyone, & excellent amenities. Ian & Angela, who manage the place, were very helpful, even replacing the coffee machine on the same day when it failed (bit of a First World problem!). We hope to be back one day

Peace and Sunshine in Corfu

The villa was secluded, spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful pool. A ‘welcome pack’ of drinks and snacks would have been welcome, especially for a mid night arrival.

A lovely spotless villa, very spacious and clean. Plenty of privacy with four good bedrooms. High quality construction and fittings. It is, effectively, two self contained appartments- one upsatairs and one down stairs. Large clean swimming pool. Beautiful setting. Parking for 2 cars. The walled drive can be awkward for a medium sized car. The property custodian was very helpful and friendly.

Lovely villa with great large pool. WiFi only works in the main room so in the downstairs bedrooms (all hit one) there is no WiFi and 1 bar of 3G if you are lucky. At least one bed very hard leaving us stiff every morning. Well equipped kitchen and very helpful caretakers available with advice at short notice

This was our second time at Villa Di Giovanni - the hosts were lovely and recommended some new places for us to try out to eat, one being featured on Rik Steins cooking programme. Go up to old Perithia and have a meal at “O Foros” and then down to Perithia village to “Jetatis” - on your doorstep and amazing quality and hospitality. The villa is the most well equipped I have ever stayed in. Villa Cleanliness outstanding. For me personally I think it’s a prime location and the roads in and around are totally accessible. This is not the case for a lot of Corfu. You do need a car - we hired a 9 seater transporter this time and had to park and leave it up at the entrance of the driveway as it is not the widest.

We visited Villa Di Giovanni mid Oct. The Villa is amazing and very awe inspiring when you first arrive. The driveway is quite narrow. We had the equivalent of a 5 door Fiesta and was just able to turn it around at the end. Otherwise it would be quite tough to reverse it back up the driveway. Something to bare in mind. The pool area is absolutist fantastic, the only issue was in Oct the Sun didn't come across the pool until midday. But areas are in the Sun for sunbathing early on. Pool was bitter cold. But again I put this down to time of year. The amenities in the Villa are above and beyond. Plenty of seating areas throughout. Amazing open space Kitchen, Dining & Living Area. Bedrooms are all good sizes. We had a couple days of rain but the owners provide a viewing system on the TV which had extensive availability of UK Channels, TV Series & Films which was a great bonus. We really cannot fault this Villa. It was a shame we couldn't use the pool but that was just down to time of year. We loved it so much we are planning on going back early in the year in 2022!

Think about somewhere else

Do not go by the pictures on this listing, we would say the photos are 15/20 years old and the place is extremely outdated. Wi-Fi poor. Pool looked good but wasps constantly buzzing around the grates on entry, wife and daughter got stung. Incessant noise from crickets which got in the house several times, creepy looking things. Patio doors looked like a burglary had been attempted. Very rural location, 65 minutes to a hospital. Extremely difficult to get taxis. Internal Staircase was wobbly and had a warning that kids should be supervised. Had to take patio cushions in on a night as the signs warned us feral cats would stain them. Old vertical radiator pipes sticking out of the floor in every room. 25 minute walk to nearest shop past derelict buildings, up a steep hill on way back. Can’t get car down driveway easily and very steep to get out. We left the villa after 3 nights of a week long stay.

Hi Paul, Unfortunately you were at the property at the time of the fires. The owner was extremely helpful and answered all of your queries before and during their trip. She suggested that due to the location it was advisable to hire a car but you did not want to. You left the air conditioning on after leaving the villa with the windows all open and the electricity bill for that period was almost €800! The owner also asked that the patio cushions were brought in at night and when the house is left unoccupied. They did not do this and as a result the cushions were covered in black ash.

It was immaculate in every way.Doug and Linda were amazing hosts and always available for questions and requests. Lisa’s villa is absolutely beautiful inside and out. There were masks and gloves provided, and fresh towels halfway through. Sparking clean throughout! One amazing feature is that Lisa’s kitchen is full of different utensils and cooking equipment!

Brilliant location villa

Great communication throughout the week. The villa was lovely.my family have enjoyed the week, especially the large pool. A few local places to eat and shops nearby so we didn't have to go far for anything.

Lovely villa, the photos don't do it justice. Lots of space, big bedrooms and big bathrooms. Plenty of space for 8 people or 2 groups travelling together, as there is a kitchen downstairs aswell. The pool is enormous, great location with a few shops and restaurants near by. But lots of privacy and not overlooked. Communication with owners was very good. Any questions were quickly answered.

The villa was amazing and immaculate inside and out! The pool is the star of the villa and is huge, allowing for plenty of space when all 6 of us used it.
