Esta cabaña, originalmente una vivienda con entramado de madera con techo de paja que data de finales del siglo XVII o principios del siglo XVIII, se alza en un gran jardín con excelentes vistas. En el interior, gran parte del marco y las vigas de roble originales permanecen expuestos y, de acuerdo con una cabaña de esta época, hay techos bajos y puertas. La propiedad está en una base ideal para visitar las atracciones que el área tiene para ofrecer. Tennyson nació en el próximo pueblo, mientras que Horncastle tiene 6 millas, Lincoln, 23 millas y Louth 8 millas. Compre 6 millas, pub 800 yardas.

We had a great holiday.

We had a great holiday. The cottage was perfect. Location is amazing, so peaceful. The cottage had everything we needed and more. It was the first time a place had an airfryer. Would definitely recommend.Host was great. With great communication and a lovely little welcome pack for our arrival.

Relaxed stay

The cottage itself was beautiful. Clean, tidy and well looked after. You must buy from their online shop ! The location is a bit out of the way for some but only a short drive to everywhere else. Just be mindful about going out of season as things will be closed. We, & my fur baby, loved the peace and quiet and the feel of the cottage. A must is Welly boots in the winter.

Our 4th time in this gorgeous cottage! Home from home! Well equipped and clean. Stairs are a little tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Lovely owners. Leave you to it and are not at all intrusive. Meridian Meats is their business and we recommend their products which you can order on line and they will deliver to the cottage for free! Lovely to have Longhorn cattle as neighbours! If you love wildlife and want to escape then this is your paradise. Lots of walks from the the cottage. Local pub/shop in village but that's it! Garden isn't enclosed so if you take dogs get a spike and lead to secure them in the garden. Definately recommend this beautiful cottage! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We really enjoyed our week in this extremely well-equipped attractive cottage with beautiful views of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Lincolnshire tends to be underrated but every day we found walks to admire the scenery, as well as visiting the coast and Gunby Hall, Gibraltar Point and Alford Rural Museum. We appreciated the goodies on arrival and the ready meals for purchase in the freezer provided by Mansion Meats, the company in the ownership of the farming family who own the cottage. Get off the treadmill of daily life and book into this cottage, it is so quiet and tranquil you can't help but relax. Easy to travel anywhere from where it is situated or just stay put and enjoy the peace, the cottage is well stocked with everything anyone would need a real pleasure to stop there

This cottage catered for every need. We enjoyed evenings in front of the log burner. The owners helped make you feel very welcome with little touches along the way. Ready meals were made available in the chest freezer, unfortunately we didn't get chance to sample any so can't rate them. The White Hart (local down the road) allows dogs inside. A quaint cottage but so vast in what it has to offer. Would definitely recommend..if a tranquil experience with plenty of walks is what you are looking for then this is the one to book. We would return most definitely in the winter..it is just so picturesque.

If you want peace and quiet, this is the cottage for you.

If you want peace and quiet, this is the cottage for you. Lovely views and beautiful Lincolnshire Longhorn cattle in the surrounding fields. Very well equipped cottage with a large welcome basket of goodies. If you have a dog, the garden isn't secure. We would certainly recommend.

Our 3rd stay in this property. Love the quiet location. Well equipped. Very well laid out especially for us with 3 little Yorkies. Great rear entrance to large (heated) outhouse for wet dogs and shower by back door. Takes us a few days to get used to ground floor bathroom. Great shower. Lovely big garden but shame it’s not fenced/enclosed for dogs. My only negative is the very soft bed. No support. When your partner moves you do too. I woke with a bad back on first night. Had to use 4 cushions between mattress and sheet to support my back. A new modern supporting mattress is really required. Would still highly recommend this property.

Wonderful home in the middle of peace and quiet, with fabulous views and easy walking opportunities. Excellent attention to detail and with a very well equipped kitchen. Arrived to a lovely welcome basket and home baked lemon drizzle cake. Owner Debbie responded quickly to the one query I had over a few ants. Much more light than I expected for an older cottage although as described, doors and ceilings are lower than usual. Bed was comfortable. Shower very powerful and hot.

This was fantastic holiday would recommend to families or couples. The owners where very welcoming. They had put milk, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, breakfast and a lovely home made cake. Owners have a butcher shop in nearby Louth which is well worth a visit, wish we could buy the steaks in Edinburgh. If returning to the area again this would be the only place we would book.

Lovely cottage in quiet village location with great village pub. This cottage is well equipped with everything you need & quiet & comfortable with great views Lovely walks from the doorstep Unfortunately we stayed the week that Lincolnshire was flooded, so we had 5 days of relentless rain which spoilt things a bit, especially with two dogs to dry everyday However we kept warm with the log burner & enjoyed the homemade meals at the pub Would recommend a stay here & would consider returning ( hopefully with better weather next time) Louth the nicest town, well worth a visit
