Private parking for 2 cars. 1 small/medium-sized dog welcome. No smoking.. This detached holiday home lies just yards from the beach at one of Broadstairs’ beautiful bays, Dumpton Gap. A quiet gently sloping, sandy beach with promenade. At low tide walk along the beach to Ramsgate (check tide times), explore the rock pools for shrimps and crabs or take a stroll along the cliff top. Broadstairs offers restaurants, cafes and gift shops. Enjoy the regular summer fireworks displays and festivals, including Folk Week, or take to your bike and explore the beautiful 27 mile Viking Way. Alternatively Westwood Cross shopping, 2 miles, offers 53 stores, restaurants, cinema and casino. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

We used it as a base for exploring that side of Kent - Deal, Walmer, Rochester, etc. Easy 25 minute walk from cottage into Ramsgate, lovely walks along coast to Broadstairs and even Margate. Fantastic stay

Lovely cottage, second time we have stayed there. Local beach excellent for dog walking. Main fault with the cottage is that there is no WIFI, and if you are using a MIFI or WIFI dongle reception can be quite poor or non existant at times.

We loved our weekend break and would definitely go back such a shame it doesn’t sleep 4 as plenty of room if a new sofa bed was added I know It for insurance reasons such a shame but it wouldn’t stop us coming back we had such lovely walks and would love to do it again

Our second visit and once again it didn't disappoint. The bungalow was clean and cosy with everything needed for a comfortable stay. WiFi would have made it perfect! The garden was ideal for the dog and had off road parking for two cars. We hope to return.
