Cottage was in a great location for exploring Beadnell, Seahouses, Bamburgh. A visit to Bamburgh Castle is a must! The Cottage itself was very spacious, warm, cosy and clean. The kitchen had everything you would need and the bathroom was huge with a great all singing (literally) shower! The only downside is that there is no hot water, apparently it is controlled to protect scalding, however it is luke warm at best. Could only wash dishes using the dishwasher or water heater by the kettle, hard to feel like you could clean anything unless you boiled the kettle :( If the temperature of the water was raised the Cottage would be perfect and would easily score 10 out of 10! Had a great weekend break. Owners and local caretaker are also very friendly and really want you to enjoy your stay which is a nice touch Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had an enjoyable week in Beadnell. This is a beautiful stretch of coastline with plenty of interesting historic sites, houses and gardens to visit. Orchard Sands was a comfortable base for our holiday. The apartment was spacious, warm but airy and spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed and found it a perfect space to relax in. Spacious apartment is great for two people. Modern and well furnished with large rooms - apart from the kitchen which is a little small but we managed to cook meals every day without any problems. Large bathroom but the shower had no instruction's and was all singing & dancing. Thier was no were to put toiletries. The bedroom had no dressing table to sit and dry hair etc, thier is no privacy so the bedroom curtains had to be closed evan in daylight as the apartment opposite could see straight in. And don't evan think about using the hoover if you are allergic to dogs the apartment was no pets but the the hoover smell was disgusting. The apartment was well equipped and clean.

This is a good cottage but could be better with a bit of attention to detail.

This is a good cottage but could be better with a bit of attention to detail. I've had to mark it down on comfort and value for money because, due to problems getting hold of the owner, it took 3 days to get most of the (significant number of) broken bulbs replaced. We like to read on holiday and bring some lighting with us but were struggling for a while. On the plus side it was clean and comfortable and they seem to have addressed previous concerns about the comfort of the sofas by putting in a new and very comfortable suite. It's also in a great location with excellent local amenities. Still problems with the shower – please could we have some simple instructions! Google was no help and we were not able to control the temperature when we did get the basic shower head operational. I would come back but would hope the place is fulfilling its potential by then.

Beadnell where it is situated nice little place, easily placed to get to surrounding areas, to visit. Would definitely go back.
