The property was great and in a nice village. Local cafe at Manor House Farm is worth a visit as is the nearest pub Hare & Hounds. We visited Lincolnshire City centre which was lovely, the castle, cathedral and historic prison were all in walking distance once parked up in centre. We also visited a National trust Old Workhouse which was very interesting. Lots of things to do in Lincolnshire and well worth a visit.

Very spacious and well equipped cottage.
Very spacious and well equipped cottage. Very modern with lovely surroundings. The property owner, whilst living on site ensured our privacy and offered above and beyond to accommodate us. The cottage had everything we needed for a weeks break - home from home. Private garden area with BBQ and outside seating and off road parking.
The nearby pub The Hare and Hound served delicious food with speedy excellent service. Shops and other amenities were all a short drive away, but there were plenty of walks and things to do. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone.

We had a great time at Stone Lodge, the cottage had everything you could wish for and the owners were so friendly and helpful. There was plenty to see and do in the area, and there are many pretty villages dotted about in the vicinity. All the local churches are a treat to see even if you are not religious. The craft centre nearby is a very interesting place to visit, the artisans are pleased to see you and are very helpful. We had all we needed in the cottage and our little dog, Mollie, was also catered well for. We can not thank Danielle and David enough for making our stay one of the best and enjoyable holiday cottages we have had.
This property was perfect, everything was as stated in the details! Added to the overall excellence was the peaceful area, fantastic places to eat, we could not fault it!
