Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Sitting-out area with garden furniture. Enclosed lawned garden (shared). Bike store. On road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are steps and sloping banks in the grounds.. Situated on the Isle of Cumbrae this spacious ground floor holiday apartment is situated only 100 yards from the waters edge. Millport sports a beautiful sandy beach, with tropical palms fronting the promenade and yachts moored out in the sheltered bay. From here you can explore the charm of a seaside town with café’s, shops and bars and bistro. A haven for wildlife, Cumbrae attracts migrant birds from around the world, and the flora of the island is equally varied with a visit to the island’s Marine Research Station with museum and aquarium a must. Millport is also the home of Europe’s smallest cathedral and Britain’s narrowest house. An ideal location for cycling, walking and golf, and the National Watersports Centre offers courses to suit all aspect of water based activities. The main Newton Bay offer sheltered anchorages and secure moorings. Beach 100 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

Great little flat, two minute walk a way from the shops and pubs! This island was beautiful. 5 min drive away from flat to ferry port, although there was a bus stop a minute walk away from the flat. The flat had everything we needed and more! The owners even left us a bottle of Prosecco! The only problem we had staying here was the water/heating system made a loud tapping noise and it was always through the night but after the second night we went to a pharmacy and bought some ear plugs so after that we were fine! Your photo makes it look like a cottage but to the right is a close door that you go into two small flats one to your left is yours the cleanliness of the flat is immaculate and a small walk and your are at the sea front

Lisa and Ali were the perfect hosts and couldnt do enough for us! They made is feel very welcome and went above and beyond to make us feel at home! We arrived to a lovely welcome pack which was very much appreciated! A beautiful, cosey little flat witb everything you will ever need! Lots of lovely walks and scenery with parks for children and family friendly restaurants and bars! What more could you ask for! Lovely place to stay and will be back for sure!

The apartment was lovely and we felt at home with the woodburner.

The apartment was lovely and we felt at home with the woodburner. The holiday was mired unfortunately by the vandalisation of our car. This did not appear to be taken seriously by either the local police or the owner of the property. Sadly this put a dampener on the holiday and we decided we wouldn't want to visit again. The best part of the village is the butchers, who are very helpful and supply amazing meat!

Ali and Lisa were fantastic hosts, very friendly and provided everything that we required. The apartment was stocked better than many I have stayed in and the welcome pack provided including cheese, oatcakes and butter was a welcome addition. There were plenty of logs provided for the wood burning stove which was needed on a wet and windy January weekend. I would seriously recommend staying here and I certainly would again in the future.
