What a lovely place to stay, I've been visiting Cornwall for over 50 years, as a child with my parents and now with my wife and dogs and I think I have really found a real jewel of a place. After staying here for 6 nights I can safely say I was totally relaxed by the time I had to unfortunately leave to go home, I will definitely be back.
Lovely location and only a few minutes in the car to a great dog friendly beach. The Falcon pub nearby serves amazing food.
Cottage is very well equipped. Only downside is the decor could do with updating and a new suite in the lounge area

We had a lovely stay here, it was only for 3 days and I wish we had booked it for the week instead of the hotel we stayed at the few days before. A little awkward to find but it was certainly worth it. Will definitely look to stay again in the future, the picturesque views were a real highlight for us. Our dogs felt very comfortable and enjoyed sheep watching from the garden! Couldnt fault the cottage, it is literally home from home!

Excellent week away.
Excellent week away. Surprised just how well equipped the cottage was. Wonderful views, lovely warm welcome with tea bags, coffee, cake and chocolate bar. Just What we needed after 5 hours in a car. Lots of attractions with easy distance, pity in February many aren't open yet, but it didn't spoil our week.

Beautiful location, but very remote and no phone signal (despite having 4 separate network providers between us!) and no wi-fi.................which is actually a good thing as the family restored some old fashioned values such as conversation, board games and reading!
Very very clean and comfortable, and everything you need is provided.
Hosts could be more welcoming and engaging, as dialogue was infrequent and we felt like we were an inconvenience rather than a welcomed guest.
There was little to do within the immediate area, and the owners have possibly missed an opportunity to provide additional activities (feed their cows, walk on their fields, nature walks etc.) We felt like we had the cottage and everything around it was out of bounds.
There was local guides left for us, but to have something (literally) on the doorstep for the young children would have been a bonus.
It's unfortunate that we had to check in late and leave early, as we only got 3 full days in the accommodation.
The beds were very comfortable. The cottage was incredibly clean. The hot water was incredibly hot, the cottage was very warm and the views were stunning (despite poor weather). The shower was a little feeble and having just one bathroom for 5 of us had it's challenges but we adapted quickly.
We would visit again.

Lovely warm cottage, well equipped, clean.
Lovely warm cottage, well equipped, clean. Plenty of room for 4 adults, a toddler and a dog.
Patio fab, with fantastic views.
Walks around the 15 acres of land, kept well (need wellies).
Friendly people who own the cottage.
A little off the beacon track, but close enough to Newquay.
St Mawgan has a great cafe (Hawkeys ?) which is dog friendly, welcoming and rustle up a great breakfast.
