Carefully furnished and co-ordinated, it makes an ideal holiday retreat from which to walk direct from the door, or tour the surrounding Yorkshire Dales. Three country inns can be found in the village along with shops and restaurant, with riding, fishing and caving close by. Bustling Skipton with its historic castle and 18-hole golf course is a short drive, and endless hours of fun can be had on the River Wharfe which runs through the village.
