Please note: This property has a security deposit of £250. Maximum capacity 11 guests including children and infants.. This superb wing of Grade II listed Islington Hall, which is adjacent to the owner’s home, has been refurbished for 2018 and benefits from a large garden and a private hot tub to sit back and relax in after a day spent exploring the area. There is plenty for all the family to see and do, from Her Majesty’s country retreat at Sandringham, 20 minutes by car, and the sandy beaches of Heacham and Hunstanton to the medieval town of King’s Lynn, which is just a short drive away. Hunstanton is a traditional seaside resort and offers good days out for all the family, as does Heacham, which has been a seaside resort for over 150 years. For children there is Church Farm, 10 miles south of King’s Lynn, where you can meet the animals and enjoy refreshment in the farm café/restaurant. Snettisham is great for spotting the birdlife that inhabits this stretch of the Norfolk coastline and you can often see thousands of wading birds in the spring, or sit and watch the birds on the lagoon islands. Beach 17 miles. Nearby there is horse-riding, golf, fishing and roller skating. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Wonderful getaway

We stayed in this beautiful property with a group of friends including a couple of dogs and babies. Nick came to welcome us and told us about the property, giving us some recommendations for dog walks. A fabulous house, great hot tub, beautiful gardens with everything you could possibly need. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Family friendly 'home' from home.

Family friendly 'home' from home. House is lovely and warm, with a selection of different rooms to choose from. Most bedrooms have their own bathrooms which helps with busy family life. Hot tub is a saviour after a busy day shopping in Norwich and the Paddock out the back is perfect for entertaining children or exercising dogs. House is down a quiet country drive just off a main road, so although it feels like your in the middle of the country your only 5 minutes from King's Lynn and 20 mins from the coast. I would definatly recommend this house for any families, couples or people with dogs. Also the couple who run this house are very attentive and helpful throughout, thank you 😊

We hired the hall for a family get-together, and it really worked. We were 6 adults and 5 children aged from 2 to 11, and we had a lot of fun in the house, the extensive grounds and the hot-tub. When there was a query about the TV the owner was very helpful even though the problems were of our own making! The bedrooms and bathrooms are superb.

An amazing place. Everything you needed including books and games for the children. The out side gardens were ideal for our two dogs. The hot tub was a bonus. The owners, who live next door where both friendly and helpful. The only consideration is that if you need anything you have to drive as there are no shops or pubs within walking distance. This was ideal for our family get together as it catered for both grand parents and grand children alike. Would highly recommend Islington Hall.

Islington Hall exceeded our expectations with ample space for our family group of eleven.

Islington Hall exceeded our expectations with ample space for our family group of eleven. It is really well decorated and equipped and the gardens are large with an outside table seating us all. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and we had a wonderful weekend helped by good weather. The hot tub in the garden was very popular with our four grandchildren and with two adults. There was ample parking, loads of books and activities and the television went on once for the news on Sunday!

Perfect setting. Only issues we had was the weather really, and the fact that there was no downstairs toilet or that the jacuzzi was under the trees. The fact both the trees and the building are protected means that these can’t be changed. However this did not spoil our visit in anyway

What an amazing time we all had to celebrate my special birthday. We couldn’t have been made more welcome and there was nothing we needed to take for essentials as everything was there! Plus more ?. Also a lovely welcome pack for us and our dogs was a very nice added touch. We will definitely return one day and I highly recommend to anyone.
