Remote location, nice and quiet with supermarkets a short drive away. Lovely, cosy warm cottage in winter. It was actually bigger than we expected having read previous reviews. A great location for a short break. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Rock Barn is a quaint, cosy cottage in a convinient location for exploring a lot of what Cornwall has to offer. Pauline, the owner, was very welcoming on arrival and we felt like if there were any issues she'd happily sort them. The cottage has everything you'd possibly need: the lounge is spacious and the Internet is also surprisingly fast, the kitchen has more equipment than expected and has a great view out onto the surrounding fields, the bathroom has an electric shower and the bedroom is snug. We stopped for 7 nights and definitely didn't want to leave! I can't recommend Rock Barn highly enough and would happily return in the future. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Although there is nothing really terrible about Rock Barn there are a couple of areas which we felt did not compare well with other cottages we have had in the past. Firstly was the size of the bedroom, just a bit larger than the bed. This made it awkward to dress etc with the added possibility of colliding with the roof trusses. The garden sitting area was detached from the cottage next to where the car parking area is and it didn't feel like an area where one could site out and relax. There was a log burner with loads of instructions on how to light it but no logs fire lighters or matches in the cottage. Its not always hot in June. The wi-fi works well downstairs but doesn't get a signal in the bedroom. There was no visitors book we could find. So all in all it was OK but we have had better.
