Helene Goubert purchased this Cabin in 2016
Why Helene Goubert chose Pigeon Forge
We remember the first time we stepped foot onto the deck at Angels Rest and saw the view. Never had we seen a cabin with such a postcard perfect panorama. Wears Valley looks like a toy train set displayed below. We knew this was THE cabin for us. Wears Valley had great appeal due to the scenic beauty, closeness to the attractions, yet small village feel. We love the close access to the National Park, too.
What makes this Cabin unique
There are so many cabins to choose from. We think you will enjoy Angels Rest for three reasons. 1) Our panoramic view of Wears Valley and the National Park is unmatched with sunset views every evening. Everybody says they have a great view, but we REALLY do. Its like a picture postcard. 2) We own one cabin and can provide personal attention. We have many repeat guests and high booking rates every year. 3) Upscale, clean accommodations. Our housekeeper takes great pride in delivering a fresh, clean vacation accommodation.

Welcoming cabin with amazing deck and views
Our family had a very enjoyable time at Angel's Rest. This cabin is very accommodating-plenty of room, (6 of us) and things to do. My Dad and I especially enjoyed the fire pit, and deck. We all took in the views and beautiful fall colors. The pool table and game room is a fun feature. The cabin also has board games under the tv. The kitchen is fully equipped. Tammie, the housekeeper truly cares about the cleanliness of the property. The owners are very attentive to check in by text or email, and make sure you have everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Tammie, Helene and family.
Good times with good friends
We (three couples) enjoyed our stay very much. We enjoyed the view and the evenings on the deck with a nice fire to keep us warm. The cabin is very well equipped and comfortable. Although a little far from Gatlinburg, we had no trouble getting around. The property manager was friendly and helpful. I recommend this cabin as a great get-away place.
Great Time with Great Friends
My husband and I living in one state met up with our friends from another state and this was the perfect location! Quiet, secluded and serene every morning as we watched the sun come up and each evening catching the beautiful sunsets from the deck. This is our second time here and we hope to return again...just the right distance away from all the hustle bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge - getting into town was quick yet the feel of being a million miles away! Thank you for a beautiful stay.
Cabin was great. Will definitely come back.
Best view ever
Best view you will find if you prefer long range. Ideal view for us. There's 2 bedrooms on the main and 2 beds in a loft situation upstairs. Roads are paved with 3 switch backs - so really easy access. Only 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge. Ideal location. Well maintained property with everything you could need. A keurig and a coffee pot. Plus a crock pot and a stocked kitchen.
Angel’s Rest does not disappoint!
I understand now why it’s called Angel’s Rest. It’s because the mountain views are heavenly! We loved the fire pit on the porch. We spent evenings around it making s'mores with the kids. Our teens loved the lower level game room and the hot tub. It really had something for everyone. The drive up is a little steep but well worth it. It was the perfect escape after a long day on the parkway.
Angel's Rest is located in Wears Valley which borders the National Park. Only 10 minutes to Pigeon Forge and Sevierville and 20 minutes to Gatlinburg -- with plenty of family fun and shopping. Access to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, and hiking is only 2 miles away via the 'secret' Wears Cove entrance. Other Activities: Major shows, aquarium, water park, Dolly Wood, outlet shopping.
