Welcome to Mountain Memories!!
Very easy access with no mountain roads. The cabin is located on the floor of Wears Valley on a flat one acre property with AMAZING views of the mountains!
Close to all the area attractions, but in the serenity of peaceful Wears Valley
• GSMNP Entrance – 5 Mins
• Townsend Shopping, Dining & Tubing – 5 mins
• Pigeon Forge Shopping, Dining, Attractions – 15 mins
• Dollywood Amusement Park – 15 mins
• Gatlinburg Shopping, Dining, Attractions – 25 mins

This beautifully furnished cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms – Easily sleeps 7 people. All bedrooms have king size beds, TV’s and plenty of space. You will feel at home and relaxed at Mountain Memories because we’ve provided everything you need to enjoy your stay – fully equipped kitchen, gas grill on back deck, linens & towels, etc. Walk across our yard for some fun at the community pool and fishing pond, or grab a burger, sandwich or ice cream at the pool’s deli restaurant!

Enjoy the stunning mountain views from the front porch and our large front yard. Relax in the hot tub on the front deck and take in the mountain sunsets. There are no difficult mountain roads to navigate to get to Mountain Memories, just pull into the long driveway that can accommodate up to three vehicles. This is a motorcycle friendly property that is super-easy access for bikes.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home near Pigeon Forge! The cabin was exactly what we were hoping for—clean, comfortable, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the mountains each morning was something we'll never forget.The highlight of our trip was seeing bears right from the property, which had always been on our bucket list! It made our vacation even more special.Joe was fantastic to work with from start to finish. His communication was excellent, he was responsive, friendly, and made everything so easy.We truly couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Joe, for helping make our family vacation so memorable!

Our stay was wonderful, the check in process was very easy. Joe called before our check in and gave us some wonderful dinner options for local restaurants, a short cut to get to the hotel in Gatlinburg, where our daughter had to stay with her dance team. The cabin was very clean upon arrival and everything just as pictured. I saw a bear on morning 2 of our weeklong stay, he didn't seem to care that I was outside, he walked on around the small pond next to the cabin and disappeared into the woods.Our daughter got to enjoy a few days at the cabin with us, and she befriended the white and black duck in the small pond beside the cabin. She named the duck Vanessa and happily fed her twice a day. We enjoyed making smores at the fire pit out front. It was quiet and we were able to relax and just enjoy.

We just got back from a wonderful stay here with our family of four, and we couldn't be happier. The view from the home is incredible and we found ourselves stopping to take it in over and over. The hot tub was a highlight, and we really enjoyed relaxing in it while watching the clouds move through the mountain tops.If you're planning a trip, set aside time in the mornings or evenings to enjoy the deck when the views are best. Everything went exactly as planned, and we're already looking forward to our next stay.

Loved our stay. Joe was very responsive and made sure to help us quickly with any questions we had. Our kids loved the yard, as we usually rent a property without one. They were playing outside as much as they could. Highly recommend for a family with children and would love to rent again. Highly recommend fires in the fire pit outside. The view is amazing.

First impressions are everything and upon entering the cabin we noticed it was hot, and I mean really hot. The air was set to over 80. We had to run an errand to the store and out to dinner and so by the time we got back to the cabin it was comfortable to sleep. The beds were comfortable and that is very important to us. The half bath downstairs was very dirty in the toilet, again first impressions. Also, we had issue with the lamps in the downstairs bedroom not working on one side and it made the room very dark. And the view from the front of the cabin, which is the only place to set outside is directly to a community pool and pond. Not the best in my opinion. What was a huge downside for us, and not to the fault at all of the owner of the cabin was we were unaware that a car show was in town and these cars were loud drift cars. Very young and very disrespectful individuals. They parked at the pool in front of the house and revved their engines all day and night. It was very unpleasant and made the stay just the opposite of what we had hoped for in spending time with our friends. There was even drag racing that took place on the road directly in front of the house on Saturday. Again, not a reflection of the cabin or the owner but if we had known or been advised of what was in town that weekend we would have chosen differently.

We are very sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. However, I do feel compelled to rebut some of the contentions. First, in almost 10 years of sharing our cabin with guests this is the first 3 star review we've ever received. 1. The cabin was hot - there can be days between when guest depart and arrive leaving the cabin vacant. In this case it was vacant for a week, so the A/C was set at a higher temp. The house cools quickly, as they state - went to store and all was fine. 2. The toilets were cleaned by the cleaning company. Perhaps there was some scale from the well water in the toilets, but I can assure you they were not "dirty" as the guest contends. 3. We are sorry one of the bulbs in the lamp was burned out - it happens occasionally. There are three light sources int he bedroom, so I know the room was not "very dark". Had the guest simply called me I could have directed them to a spare light bulb in the storage area and their concern would have been resolved in 90 seconds. 4. Never once had someone comment that the pool and pond, which is over 1000 feet away across the yard was a problem. In fact, the close proximity of the pool is found my almost every guest to be a benefit. I encourage anyone considering staying at Mountain Memories to look at the countless 5 star reviews on the cabin and judge for yourself the validity of this guests review. A view of the mountains, no mountain roads to get to our cabin and a large yard made our stay better than any before. We have made numerous trips to Pigeon Forge since the late 80's. Wears Valley is the most beautiful area in our opinion. Will definitely want to stay in this cabin again!

Cabin was great! Clean well stocked. Exactly as advertised. Yard/view was amazing! Our grandson caught his first fish at the pond across the road! Easy drive to cabin! Would stay here again!

Great view, clean, comfy - would stay again!

The place was exactly as described & pictured! We love the open floor plan for family interaction - large table for all 7 of us as we cook dinner each night. They even had smores sticks for the girls to make s'mores. We ended each night watching a movie on the very comfy leather couches (bonus, it reclines!). The internet went out the last night but we just rebooted the box & it was back up again. After a long day of hiking, it was nice to jump in the preheated hot tub! There was a futon for the 7th person but the couch was more comfortable. There were plenty of extra towels for us to use for shower & hot tub. The view was PERFECT! Plenty of land and privacy. My husband even went fishing at the 2 ponds- little one next to house and a large one on the other side of the pool. Joe was very informative - he called me the day before to give me information (other places would just send an email). The only improvement I could think of is that I wish there was a sponge to wash dishes (just my preference) but plenty of dish soap & dish washer tablets. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Cabin!

This is a great property! Joe was an awesome host and super easy to communicate with and helpful. We loved the location in Wears Valley and being so close to Townsend and Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Very peaceful area and cabin to come back to after busy days. Loved having the pool and fishing pond right there next to the cabin. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!

We're so glad that your family got to enjoy the East Tenn mountains at Mountain Memories! The location really is perfect - Close to all the attractions and GSMNP, but the cabin is in it's own little slice of heaven. Walking to the pool and fishing pond across the yard is great for families. Please do come back to visit us again soon! All the best, Ginna and Joe
