Beautiful house with quality furnishings and white goods/ utensils. Briliant pool and excellent location down a quiet lane, yet walkable to the supermarket and 10 mins walk from Riberac centre where there are a couple of bars and restaurants. Thanks very much Franck

A lovely house

We had a very lovely stay. The house was spacious with comfortable beds and great bathrooms. The pool was wonderful and we would recommend this property. More sun loungers and a parasol by the pool would have been great and we found the WiFi upstairs patchy. Franck and his wife were great and responded quickly to any messages both before and during our stay.

Perfect house & pool in the Dordogne

We had a lovely week at Franck’s property which is in a perfect location, quiet and a short walk to the centre of Riberac. The house is furnished and equipped to a high standard - in fact as there has been some refurbishment including new bathrooms since the listing photos were published it exceeded our expectations. The pool and garden were ideal to relax in especially in the heat wave we experienced. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot in the Dordogne within walking distance of a small town and easy reach of beautiful places to visit e.g Brantome,Bourdeilles, Aubeterre. Franck was very welcoming on arrival and responded to any questions during the week swiftly. Thank you Franck!

Maison très agréable et confortable. Excellent séjour

La maison a été rénovée récemment et tout est impeccable à l'intérieur. Beau séjour et chambres spacieuses, c'est parfait pour 6 personnes. En extérieur, grande terrasse sur 2 côtés de la maison. Le jardin venait d'être refait (printemps 2024) et la pelouse neuve mais ça ne pourra que s'améliorer. Très belle piscine à débordement, de belle dimensions. Attention cependant, pas de couverture pour ce type de piscine. Et donc..... elle est franchement fraîche après le 15 août (nuits autour de 12°). Il manque également du mobilier de piscine (transats & parasol) sur la terrasse mais je crois que cela devait âtre résolu à l'avenir. A vérifier...

Très bon séjour

La maison est très bien dans un environnement calme et proche de toutes les commodités. Merci à Mr Parent pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse durant le séjour. Seul petit bémol, la wifi qui n’était pas de bonne qualité, embêtant quand il y a des ados. La région est magnifique!

Lovely house, lots of privacy, well-equiped and excellent communication with owner and caretaker. Riberac offers supermarkets restaurants and bars in walking distance.

Splendid week in a stunning villa

We had a fabulous stay in Franke’s house. The villa was so pretty and had all that a family might need. I was pleased to have some French or I may have struggled with check in but Franke spoke good English when we met him later in the week. The lay out of the kitchen, dining and outdoor dining area (which wasn’t obvious from the photos) was fantastic and we could supervise the children in the pool whilst sitting under the awning on the terrace. The BBQ was top quality and led to us eating in far more than anticipated. We stayed during a heatwave and pool was very welcome and easy to keep clean. Clever use of shutters kept the place cool although it was warm in the upper bedrooms at night at the peak of the heatwave. The decor of the villa was exceptional (although with an 8&9 year old I was nervous at times that they might damage something - luckily not). The short walk into Riberac centre was easy going and the Friday morning market is not to be missed. All in all a fabulous week and we would certainly return for rest and relaxation on the deck chairs or sunloungers under the trees in the cleverly designed garden.

Une très agréable maison

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Ribérac. La maison est très bien située par rapport au centre ville: tout y est accessible à pied. L'Intermarché à 5min de voiture présente un avantage certains. Le tout dans le calme d'une petite impasse. Quant à la maison elle est très belle et plutôt bien équipée, attention tout de même à la sécurité de la piscine pour les jeunes enfants. Nous n'avons pas eu le plaisir de rencontrer le propriétaire mais Mr Parent a été charmant, agréable et hyper disponible tout au long du séjour. Merci à lui. Nous recommandons cette maison pour vos vacances.

Magnifique sejour à Ribérac

Magnifique maison avec de beaux matériaux et bien équipée (excellente literie, accessoires de cuisines, barbecue etc.. ). Au calme et à proximité du centre ville (quelques minutes à pied). Grande piscine bien exposée au soleil et sans vis a vis, nombreux transats. Le propriétaire est très réactif et sympathique.

A fantastic week in Riberac - highly recommended house

We had a wonderful stay here in August 2019. Franck was incredibly helpful both before and during our stay - him and Corinne went the extra mile in preparing the house for us and our 5 month old baby. The house itself was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities you could need - Franck was even on hand to answer our questions about the induction hob. It is in a great location - very quiet and peaceful, but within easy reach of the town centre (with the weekly farmers' market), a hypermarket and even only a short and easy drive from the lake and beach at La Jemaye - well worth a visit. Overall, we have no hesitation in recommending the house.

Très bien situé et confortable pour 6 personnes

Grande maison parfaitement adaptée pour 6 personnes . Sa situation lui confère tranquillité mais aussi proximité pédestre du centre ville donc nickel. Quelques adaptations à faire pour faciliter l’appropriation rapide de cette maison comme un petit mémo pour fonctionnement des appareils, des interrupteurs (nombreux..) , code wifi,etc... A voir également pour améliorer la sécurisation de la piscine notamment avec de jeunes enfants. Quelques equipements complémentaires ou supplémentaires comme des chaises extérieures , bols , verres à vin , cafetière , pourraient permettre d’accueillir encore plus confortablement amis ou familles de passage. Ceci étant, nous avons pu manger un midi jusqu’a 12 personnes avec quelques apports en couverts...et ce , de façon très plaisante😁! Par ailleurs, Franck ,le propriétaire, est très aimable et réactif dans ses réponses. Bref , une belle location riberacoise qui gagnerait encore en qualité avec quelques améliorations.

A very enjoyable holiday

This property has provided us with all we needed for a great holiday,. It was great to have a pool with plenty of space in the garden. The bedroom benefitted from new quality mattresses and bedding. The house is situated on the edge of Ribérac which is a lovely little town. The owner was very helpful and flexible regarding checking in and out of the property. Great overall.
