About Kevin Bierly
By profession I am a business consultant in the accounting and finance industry. However, my true passion is real estate. In 1995 at 23 with the help of my parents, I purchased my first small modest condo in downtown Atlanta just before the Olympics. Nearly 22 years later, I've been fortunate to acquire some additional properties in Atlanta, Reno-Tahoe, and my hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Although I had invested in real estate for many years, not until 3 year ago had I had ventured into the short-term, vacation rental market. With my house in Reno-Tahoe, I listed my home on VRBO and have never looked back. It's been a fun, and sometimes very challenging, experience but one I've enjoyed and developed a lot of passion for. As a business consultant, I've traveled quite extensively over the years for work and experienced countless properties and hotels around the world. My interest in architecture, design, and exceptional attention to detail has given me the unique perspective of how I believe a guest lodging experience should transpire from the initial inquiry through the refund of the security deposit. Today, all too frequently many individuals and businesses lose focus on the bigger picture and those more important details and instead focus inappropriately on the bottom line at the expense of logic and the overall guest experience. I truly enjoy managing and building my rental portfolio and the unique challenges of this industry. Unique in terms of location, unique in character and style, and an overall great long-term investment in a city I've lived in for over 20 years. With the potential I believe this home offers, I hope to create and build a professional, comfortable, and unique home environment that my guests and I can enjoy for years to come. Over time, I hope to expand the back deck to create a complete outdoor living area complete with a working kitchen and dedicated gas grill, a large eating and entertainment space, and a sunken-in hot tub area with custom wood benches along the exterior dining room and sunroom walls. The large private lot with a totally natural setting has limitless possibilities in terms of landscaping and the ability to create an outdoor oasis for everyone to enjoy.
