Very spacious and tastefully decorated apartment located in the famous Bairro Alto, in the historical center. At every corner there are a variety of restaurants and bars, along with alternative shops, bookstores and art galleries.
Bairro Alto is also surrounded by other typical neighborhoods such as Principe Real, Chiado, Baixa, Alfama and Castelo.
This charming and stylishly 3 bedrooms apartment is on the 2nd floor of a renovated historical building with elevator.
This amazing apartment has 2 spacious bedrooms, a living room, a separated dining area, one office with a sofa bed and two bathrooms. The living room has a large sofa, a nice reading chair, big cable TV and air conditioning.
Both bedrooms are equipped with queen size double bed, air conditioning, closet and excellent quality mattresses, high-quality linen / bed sheets and fluffy cotton towels.

Check-in was easy. The apartment was well-furnished, very comfortable and in a quiet street, but a short walk to restaurants, shops, and attractions. We walked to the waterfront, Rossi Square, the Cathedral, and more.

Wonderful location. The apartment is great. Second House was very easy to work with and accessible. The night life in the area is active so there is a bit of noise sometimes but not overwhelming. I would absolutely stay here again.

Our host went above and beyond toMake our stay very comfortable. Provided us a binder with instructions for the house appliances, suggestions for dinner and other activities. She even contacted us after we left because our friend forgot clothes and made arrangements for us to pick them up a week later. We would definitely stay again. The location was excellent and the general layout, space, and decor were good. We experienced lots of leaking from rain into the apartment, a banging metal roof panel that disturbed our sleep, under counter lights which didn’t work, a dishwasher out of service, a toaster missing controls and a noisy compressor in the courtyard which ran continuously. We did let the host know of these conditions, but there was no effort to remediate these items. This was very disappointing given the amount we paid.

This apartment was an amazing find! Spacious, very clean, and with awesome A/C. The location was terrific too, a minute from a main street with lots of coffee shops and shopping, and near all kinds of tucked away restaurants and the funicular down to the train station. We also liked that the keys were kept in a lockbox which allowed our party to all have access and not be dependent on coordinating schedules.

The apartment should not have been listed, as there was significant water damage and mold in the living room and one bedroom. The ceiling, exterior wall, and floor in the living room were soaked, and there was extensive mold growth. As a result, my daughter had severe allergies, asthma, lung pain, and sinus pain. Despite this, the host claimed that the water damage was only minimal.

This is a nice apartment in Bairro Alto, close to many bars and restaurants. The apartment is very nice and well suited to two couples. Check in was easy and the host was easily accessible via email and WhatApp. I would recommend this place to friends.

We had a wonderful stay in Marta/Maria’s apartment. Everything was of a high standard, the only thing was the iron, which was more like a travel iron. The apartment was in a perfect location to reach other places to visit in Lisbon. We would definitely stay again.

Loved this property and would stay here again. The host was responsive throughout our stay. It’s in a great part of town. It’s a 10 minute walk to Chiado. So many places to eat and buy Pastel De Nata’s on the main street. Came for a wedding and there was a hairdresser two doors down from our place. He did a great job too. There’s a great restaurant at the end of street. There’s a small local grocery store near by. Going into Liberdade rideshare was $5-$8. The property was spacious. Lots of closet space. Two full bathrooms, we had lots of towels and we used the washer and dryer. Each room has its own thermostat.

The property was lovely. We were in Lisbon when it was very hot and the AC units worked wonderfully to keep the place cool. We had a slight snafu with the code not working when we got to the property, but we were able to get in and then used physical keys for the rest of th visit. The property manager did advise to keep doors locked when not in the apartment, but the apartment is on the second floor so we did not feel unsafe.

Great well located flat in Lisbon

This well appointed newly renovated perfectly located apartment. The apartment was exactly as described and could not be more well located to get to all you want to see in Lisbon. The AC works great, the block is quiet which is good as many blocks have loud fun parties into the night. There is a reasonable $20 a day parking lot close by as well. I highly recommend this apartment and host.

Perfect Getaway

Great stay for 2 couples. Plenty of room and fantastic neighborhood that made our Lisbon stay perfect. Marta was very responsive and helpful. The neighborhood was easy to walk anywhere and was full of restaurants… bars and entertainment. We could have not asked for anything better. Would love to return!!! You cannot go wrong with Marta!!
