Moraira is more of less equal in distance from both Alicante and Valencia airports. The journey takes just over an hour, mostly along the AP-7 motorway which generally carries little traffic in this area. The usual low-cost airlines operate from both airports, although Murcia is also now well-used and is only about an hour and a half away using the same road. Car hire is easily and efficiently arranged at all of these airports and we can make recommendations to you at the time of booking. Airport transfer services are also available if you do not wish to drive. Car hire rental is not necessary of you wish to walk as, the villas location is very close to supermarkets, beaches and the town centre where, there is a superb selection of shops, wine/cocktail bars and restaurants.

The most desirable areas include Pla del Mar and El Portet, a temperate climate with warm winters and not too hot summers. Kayaks, Paddles Boards, Sailing boats, Bicycles, E-bikes, Jet Ski's to hire and a Scuba Diving school all locally, snorkelling is excellent from Cala L'Andrago, plus boat trips are available from the Marina.
If you want to explore outside Moraira a car is recommended. But there are trains that run from Teulada from in the direction of Denia where you can catch ferries to Ibiza and Majorca or in the direction of Alicante where you can stop off at the various towns along the coast such as Altea A great rip is the drive of take the train to Valencia where there is the award winning Oceanographic Centre and City of Arts and Sciences and the lovely old town with shops, tapas bars and restaurants. There is also a regular service bus that goes from Moraira town centre to Calpe each day.
