Our family came here for my son's basketball tournament. We felt safe, everything was so clean and spacious, and we were just a few minutes away from everything we needed to do while at Myrtle Beach. We would definitely revisit this condo if we go back to Myrtle.

Great location for Barefoot golf

The condo was really convenient to places we wanted to go. It was exactly what we needed for a week of golf and other activities. Everything was clean and had all the things we needed. We did think bathtub treads would help - a bit slick for us seniors. Some things could use upgrades but all was operational and very tidy.

Great spot for relaxing week!

The unit was perfect for our family trip to North Myrtle Beach. Relaxing, quiet area with plenty to do nearby. The owner was great to deal with and quickly answered all of our pre-booking questions. The only thing lacking for us was the ability to walk to more things, but the trade-off was the peace and quiet. Also, there is a shuttle which operates for part of the day, but we found it just as easy to take the short drives and never had any parking issues.

Don't judge a book by the cover!!

We originally picked this unit based on the pictures and description. Upon arrival the unit was dirty and had an awful smell. Things were broken in the home and it was uncomfortable. We took pictures for our protection. We also went out and spent money on cleaning products and bedding. After a thorough cleaning at our expense we were still ready to go. We literally took monitoring the roaches. My daughter never slept in the bed, she on her suitcase. Finally, we just took a loss and went home. Never again.

Overall it was a nice stay. Only thing that could have been better was the cleanliness. Soap rings in the shower tells me it wasn’t wiped down before we arrived. Dishes left in dishwasher also lots of dust on the ceiling fan. Light didn’t work in one bed room. There was also crumbs on the rug that was left.

Home away from Home - Only Better

The property was beautiful. Enjoyed sitting on the patio in the AM. Location was fantastic and it was just a short drive to anywhere we wanted to go. If there was a small critique the sofa/loveseat were a little to soft. The only issue that I had -I emailed the owner through the Vrbo site to find out if this was a first or 2nd floor condo - he replied by message it was a first floor condo but when we arrived we found it was actually a 2nd floor condo... my only concern were two set of stairs - since i had some medical issues prior to our mini vacation - it all worked out. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again if I have the opportunity!!!!

Very nice property. Exactly as was in listing. Very clean and good location. Had a couple of missteps. First was the fire alarm going off during the night. Turned out to be battery. We pulled the battery out. The next morning the we went out for breakfast on our return the handle came of the storm door so we couldn’t get in. Called property manager and he did take care of everything. We contacted owner and made a call to the property manager. We needed to get in for our medications. But everything was taken care of that day. Things happen certainly not the end of world. Would stay again. Owner was very good and friendly. It was a good vacation.

I live in Glenn Dale MD, and after months of searching and looking at many Myrtle Beach properties, I found this one and knew immediately that this was the one. Although, I have just purchased this property, I have already met several persons who either live there on a permanent basis or are repeat visitors. All have said that this property is great. I am sure that you will not be disappointed with this property. I pride myself in being an excellent property manager and will provide outstanding services. I have also put together an excellent service/management team in Myrtle Beach that will be at your call 24 hours 7 days a week.

Why they chose this property

I use to stay at hotels when I traveled, but hated not having the comforts of home while on vacation. Barefoot not only offer everything that I want in a vacation rental but it also offer shuttle service to the beach, top notched golf courses designed by professional golfers, Greg Norman Golf School, a full service marina with jet ski rentals and onsite restaurants. Just outside of Barefoot there is an abundance of shopping, dining and Barefoot Golf Club restaurant, where you can enjoy a cocktail inside the air conditioned/ heated villa or the covered outdoor lanai that overlooks the ponds and golf courses, Come, relax, play golf, go to the beach and enjoy the lifestyle at Barefoot Resort.

What makes this property unique

I enjoy the Wedgewood subdivision of Barefoot because it is quiet, easy to get to and allows you to get away from the hectic lifestyle of Myrtle Beach. You can relax in the screened lanai with the ceiling fan blowing providing a nice breeze while listening to the sound of the fountain in the pond. It is also a great place to jog, walk or ride your bike through the resorts or to the beach.
