Christin and John are very lovely and welcoming hosts!We enjoyed our stay at their Riverhouse Apartment very much. The apartment has everything you need.A little highlight is also that you can watch the historic steam train from the balcony. The wharf and city center are within walking distance and Hindmarsh Island is not far away, too.

Peaceful and Quiet

Lovely quiet area, very comfortable and clean. Short walk to riverfront area, market, shops and local pubs that do excellent meals.

Lovely visit

Riverside is a comfortable and I'll say homely place to stay. We loved this aspect, as the place and hosts for us felt like we were being hosted rather than staying at some anonymous corporate place (they are fine too and have their place). Sited in the heart of Goolwa, we could walk to the wharf and mainstreet, and.I ran off to the Saturday Parkrun nearby. I like trains so the steam train on the doorspet, well, how good! Keep up the good work,?

weekend away with friends

The Riverhouse Apartment was very clean and tidy and had every we needed for our stay, very close to riverfront for a lovely stroll, within 5 mins walk to the main street of Goolwa for shops, cafes and pubs for tea. Our Host Christine met us when we arrived,very friendly lady and said goodbye when we left. Will definitely stay again if we are down that way. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Location, location, location

A party of two couples, we found this a wonderful location to explore Goolwa, and we walked everywhere. The warmth of the welcome from Christine and John was much appreciated.

A Comfortable Stay

Unique and good place to stay. The main bedroom with ensuite is upstairs as is the living area. Down stairs is another bedroom with ensuite plus a garage with roller door. The place is comfortable, tidy and clean. It has everything you would need and more. DVD;s, books and pack of cards. Plenty of things in the kitchen that you may need, plus they even had bread and milk. It is also close to the main street but not too close. I would stay again and would thoroughly recommend to others.

Wonderful location and very welcoming hosts

We highly recommend this property and would love to return. There is so much to see in Goolwa and surrounds and the Riverhouse is perfectly located. We enjoyed the hospitality of the generous hosts John and Christine. They have lots of stories to tell and were very interested in what we did during our stay - they are keen to gather information to share with future guests. Outstanding!

Hideaway

Delightful, cosy place tucked away and within easy walking distance to Main Street. Hosts live on the property but once they settled us in we were left alone. The apartment is very well equipped and ideal for two couples. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

Well located and comfortable

The location was really good, within a few minutes walk to the river and the main street. Having the main bedroom and living area on the first floor meant there were good views out towards the river and of the surrounding tree tops. John and Christine were friendly and helpful hosts. The place was clean, tidy and comfortable. You could actually sell the place better by saying in the information that the accomodation is the whole upstairs and downstairs. The ad gave me the impression that it was just the upstairs section.

Great Location

Great property in a really good location in town. Easy to walk to Goolwa wharf, coffee shops and local parks. Townhouse is comfortable and private even though it’s contained in the yard of another property.
