I currently live in Escalante Utah with my husband. We lived in Glenwood Springs, Colorado for 20 years before moving to Escalante in 2005. I missed skiing and spectacular restaurants. So I bought this small, self-contained condo for its location to Old Town and Silver Mountain Spa amenities. Ever heard of the saying, "Park City, Colorado?"

Property was very nice with bbq exception
I am not from here and traveling to Washington visiting fun spots along the way. Therefore I had no idea how far off my route this was. ( highway 15). It’s ok, I’m on no time schedule. Almost an hour off course I checked in. Front desk holds keys and they give a map to help you find your building. The map shows a couple bbq/picnic areas so I assumed I could grill some burgers. Walked all over property then I finally went back into reception area to find out the grills are available and brought out only when “pre-arranged with owner” or for their personal guests. A little disappointed, everywhere else I’ve stayed had grills. Don’t get me wrong, host doesn’t advertise grill - I just assumed upon check in they would be available based on map. The room is in a good location - ground floor near parking. Cute decor. Bring your own dvds if you don’t want to watch direct tv. ( I didn’t see any here-there’s a player but no dvds) Lots of hiking trails close by you will enjoy. Grocery store very close and lots of restaurants. I even saw a Whole Foods store 15-20 minutes away off the 80. August weather was pleasant. Low 90’s and refreshing from where we came from (Arizona desert). It was a pleasant stay and interesting to see Park City, Idaho

Clean and Comfortable
First let me say that Sandy is fantastic. I booked this condo very last minute and she was so responsive and accommodating to my situation. It's so nice working with a person instead of a corporation!
The unit was great. Everything I needed was there, good size fridge, microwave, pull out bed, desk, and even a blow dryer. There is also a pool and hot tub at the check in building. I also liked that it's a ground floor unit with a parking lot really close by. It made getting our stuff in and out very easy. Lastly and most important, the place was clean!!! I would absolutely stay here again.

Comfortable bed, pretty view on balcony, very close to bus stop-only 10 min ride to park city resort. Kitchen made it perfect for making meals in. Would definitely stay here again.
The free bus service is remarkable in how frequent the buses run and there are 3 bus stops at the Prospector.
Watching the skiers and runners on the bike path from the Condo's window can be entertaining too.
The location is a great feature to our Park City Condo.

Sandy's studio was perfect for my needs. It was an easy walk to the free shuttle and close to Main Street. Her studio was cozy and perfectly sized for my trip! Would love to return again!
Wonderful property and great location
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything you needed, a great efficient kitchen, with coffee, comfortable bed that was warm and cozy. Nicely appointed condo, with a nice bathroom that can be used by 2 guest at once, also with a jacuzzi bath tub for after a day of skiing. We really enjoyed the location, 5 min from downtown Park City, and you can walk to some wonderful restaurants near by. We would definitely like to come stay here again in the future.
Silver Mountain Gym and Spa is next to The Prospector's lobby, where you will check in. Massages, state-of-art gym gear, huge pool and slides outside, facials, manicures, pedicures, smoothies and coffee drinks.
Sammy's Bistro is a few blocks away with great prices and yummy gourmet dishes. The new Peruvian restaurant in that same strip mall is delicious too.
You must walk up and down Old Town main street. During Sundance Film Festival the whole town is active with film makers and cinema viewers. The Prospector (where my condo is located) is Sundance Film Festival Headquarters! You can catch shuttles few yards from the condo to the next movie. You can leave your car parked in the Prospector parking lot (premium location for the festival).
Free bus service to the ski resorts run every 8 minutes in the wintertime to Park City Mountain Resort (2 miles from The Prospector) and Deer Valley.
The Prospector has an outdoor pool and hot tub for you, the guest.
Olympic cross-county tracks are 2 miles away at White Pine. Round Valley is 2 miles (free) where Skate skiers, fat tire bikers, cross-country skiers and dog owners co-mingle.
