Venez visiter cette magnifique maison de 8 chambres, 7½ salles de bain, 5 foyers au bord de l’eau située du côté privé du lac Anna. Profitez des vues magnifiques de chaque chambre. Détendez-vous dans la grande salle spacieuse de 2 étages avec beaucoup de sièges et une cheminée à gaz.
La cuisine gastronomique s'adapte facilement aux grands groupes avec deux éviers, deux fours, deux lave-vaisselle, deux micro-ondes, trois réfrigérateurs + machine à glaçons séparée, plaques chauffantes, mixeur 5 quarts, Keurig + broyeur + 2 autres cafetières. Autres faits saillants comprennent le garde-manger walk-in et plus de 90 pieds cubes d'espace réfrigérateur / congélateur. Il y a un bar pour le petit déjeuner pour ajouter des sièges ainsi qu'un coin repas avec un siège de fenêtre qui a une belle vue. Pour votre plaisir en plein air, nous avons une plage privée (avec du sable naturel supplémentaire dans l'eau et pente douce), couvert 3 glissade (avec ascenseurs) quai avec grand toboggan et un quatrième véranda (trois sur la maison) et énorme soleil ponts, grand barbecue à gaz (exploité dans un réservoir de propane souterrain de 500 gallons), jeux de trou de maïs (intérieur et extérieur - oui, notre salle de jeux est assez grand), ensemble de jeu, ballon d'attache, baby-foot et ping-pong.

Cinq chambres avec lits king, y compris trois maîtres avec une salle de bain privée et 40 "HDTV / lecteurs blu-ray. Les deux autres chambres contiennent un total de 5 lits jumeaux sur plein robustes lits superposés en métal. Il existe deux centres de divertissement et une salle multimédia avec 1080p 4K écrans HD allant de 65 "à plus de 135" dans la salle des médias, tous comprennent le son surround. Notre système de télévision par satellite fonctionne sur 7 écrans et comprend plusieurs DVR et de leur «tout package canal de l'Amérique". zones de loisirs comprennent la grande salle, en bas table de billard / table de poker zone de jeux, grande salle de jeux dans le garage, niveau supérieur coin salon ouvert, et 3 projeté dans les porches (SIP de) dont l'un pourra accueillir 20 personnes à des tables. Le SIP de niveau inférieur comprend une table de ping-pong, tandis que la salle de jeu au dessus du garage comprend trois 24 'HDTV avec multi-jeu de style ATARI contrôleurs, une table air hockey, baby-foot, jeux de société, livres, maison de poupée, set de cuisine, et Legos. La chambre est assez longue pour une «taille réglementation» jeu de tirage au sac (Cornhole). La salle de jeu de niveau inférieur est parfait pour les adultes avec un bar, une cheminée, une table de billard, un grand téléviseur HD, un lecteur Blu-ray, et une grande table de poker / jeu.

Eagle’s Cove was the perfect venue for a weekend getaway with friends. The house is beautiful with no shortage of things to do and it's set in it's own stretch of land, assuring seclusion. John and Kara were great about making sure we knew about the various amenities, nearby points of interest, and answering questions that came up. I can't recommend it more highly and would absolutely love to come back!

Wonderful stay

We loved our stay at Eagles Cove. The house has something for everyone to relax, swim, and outdoor activities! We had a small wedding ceremony on the property that exceeding our expectations! The hosts were extremely helpful making sure we had everything we needed for the weekend. The house and property are gorgeous and provided a one of a kind weekend with enough space to hold multiple families! Cant recommend the property enough.

Amazing Property

This home was perfect! The inside was very spacious for our 20+ group of all ages. The outdoor space had everything you could think of from a shallow beach area for the young ones, to an incredibly fun slide, and a dock to sit and relax or fish from. An added bonus that wasn't pictured was the water trampoline! We rented 2 boats and a jet ski from the owners that were delivered and ready for us when we arrived, which made it incredibly convenient. We especially loved all the screened in spaces! We would definitely rent again in the future. Thanks John and Kara!

AWESOME GETAWAY

The seven of us 70 year-old school friends and husbands thoroughly enjoyed our time together at this beautiful house and location. Our favorite part was being able to eat together as a group either in the area off the kitchen or on the screened porch - both of which face the lake. The house easily accommodated us with room to spare and was very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped as the description had said. Our only disappointment was the house was not cleaner, particularly the kitchen.

perfect house

This property was great for our family. The bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable. The living area was great for us. My wife and I, my six kids and thirteen grandkids all had a great time. The slide was a huge hit. The boathouse is beautiful with lots of space and its covered so even the one day it rained we were out there fishing. Catfish and large mouth bass had the kids so excited(the adults too). The porch on the main floor is huge and we had plenty of room for meals, board games, cards, etc. The owners were very helpful with anything we needed. It was the best home we've rented for a vacation since we started these family vacations 10 years ago. We definitely plan on returning again next year. Thank you for sharing this wonderful property with us.

Sophisticated spot for a large group

This property is ideal for large groups for all four seasons. We felt lucky to visit in the fall as the surrounding trees were changing color, but we also envisioned how beautiful it would be in the snow or how much summer would be! John communicated so well the whole time (probably better than I deserved because I was having email issues). The house is as good as described. The well-stocked kitchen, multiple ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, etc, made it so easy to prepare meals for our group of 25. I admit, I was a bit concerned about the water system warnings, but the house easily accommodated us with no problem at all. I typically like to leave a recommendation for owners after a stay, but they've really thought of everything. We're already looking forward to a return trip.

Water system explanation is just "Septic System Courtesies" that apply to all Lake Anna homes. Minimize use of the garbage disposal, use the lined trash cans in the bathrooms (with lids) for wet wipes & other solids, and for large groups of 20-27 try not to let all the teens take half-hour showers. These courtesies will help our "oversized & over-engineered" septic system enjoy the 50+ year life it was designed to have. Our water supply system is excellent, 30 GPM continuous high pressure well, 140 gallons in our three hot water tanks, and two hot water circulating pumps that provide instant hot water throughout the house.

Private oasis and never bored

Family very much enjoyed our time here. The house was spacious and comfortable and views are beautiful. This house has everything (just missing a hot tub)…house is located in a gated community with tons of privacy on the lake. Waking up to the sunrise coming up over the lake was wonderful (and you have so many options (bedroom view, or one of the many open or screened in porches)). The house is fully equipped with activities for kids and adults (movie room and game room with pool and card table). Kids enjoyed the large game/toy room, outdoor play set and the beach area. Family enjoyed the catch and release fishing around the house. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had enough silverware/plates/bowls/etc. Upon checkin we did experience a small issue trying to open the garage door but called the support number and got immediate assistance which was great. Would love to visit and rent this beautiful home again.

Amazing Waterfront Home

Pictures and description are perfect. The beds were so comfortable. Everyone was commenting on how well they slept! The extra soundproofing was an added, plus with such a large family and children of all ages. The kitchen was well equipped, the game room, kept everyone busy, the theater room was comfortable, the porches were screened in, plenty of room for everyone! There was an accident somewhere on the main road that took out our electricity. Called the caretaker he was very helpful with telling us where the emergency lanterns and batteries and water were located but they weren’t needed very long. The power came back on in about 45 minutes! Excellent communication with the owners and the caretaker. Would definitely recommend for a family with a lot of ages to gather, and celebrate each other! Thank you Eagles Cove it was a wonderful mini vacation!

Great property but some disappointment

The property and the house are beautiful. But the house was not cleaned properly. Piles of dirt in the bathroom, the toilets were not clean, mold in the showers, hair in bathrooms. We chose this house for our wedding so the day before our wedding, we had to put sheets on every bed ourselves because it was not done for us. All towels weren’t on the racks, but under the sinks or in closets which I found odd. The lower porch was very very filthy. We had to throw out tons of food because the refrigerator was not working properly. Again, beautiful place but the housekeeping was not up to standard, especially for what you pay.

I’ll be brief in my response – happy to discuss in detail. • Yes we did have issues with the prior cleaning company – but that wasn’t the problem here. Renters took over the house early and cleaning wasn’t finished. Transition crew is non-confrontational and will not tell incoming renters to wait until 5 p.m. check-in. They will say OK, smile & leave. Someone should have called me. • Large group, we communicated well with the our main contact (Dad) but his daughter wrote the review. In both verbal and written communication we informed OUR contact, that the towels were in each bathroom cabinet and that linens were new, sealed in plastic, on each bed. That’s the way it’s done at Lake Anna, period. Again this communication didn’t make it to the person that wrote the review. Why are linens not ‘installed’ on our 18 beds – because 1) it would more than double the cost (ask!); 2) linen service doesn’t have the time; 3) when we did this in our first rental house sometimes the renters would ask if the linens were really new/clean. • Ditto on the fridge. That is a new refrigerator (3 months old). Our communication clearly warns renters that, unlike other units, you cannot put anything on a shelf that extends past the end of the shelf. Even something extending ¼” past the edge leaves the door open ¼”, so we advise making sure it stays closed. These newer low-energy consuming units do not have the power to cool with the door slightly open. When it’s been left open & running constantly the humid air freezes on the coils and the unit fails to cool even if the door is closed. Last time I buy a Westinghouse fridge. • No good deed goes unpunished! We allow our guests to arrive early & use the grounds, half-bath, and garage fridge… which, in this case, backfired against us when someone wanted the house early too… Also, this was a wedding group. We charged NO ADDITIONAL WEDDING FEE, but we did extra work for them: 1) removed the volleyball net & pressure washed/super cleaned the wedding area; 2) replaced the net after they left; 3) met with chair rental person for delivery & again on pickup; 4) I believe there was at least 1 other meeting. And our “thank you” was this review.

The house and property were wonderful! Only a few issues. The house could be cleaner. Honestly it needs a deep clean. Concerned if the blankets and comforters are cleaned between guests. A tear in the couch cushion, with feathers coming out. The outdoor tables on the porch were covered in pollen that we cleaned to use. One table and one chair on the back porch are broken. Mildew in at least one shower, upstairs master. The top hand rail going down the back stairs is cracked and spins. The bottom hand rail is missing. The grass was not cut. The red SUP is missing a plug. Luckily there were a few of out together to double up to bring my daughter back. We wish there was an entrance with wheel chair accessibility, but we made it work. I know it seems like a lot of complaints. We really truly had the best time. We just feel for the amount of money we spent that standards would be a little higher. My father was recently diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer. He doesn’t have much time left- this trip is was perfect for our family to spend time together.
