Lavandula cottage

Lavandula's contemporary country house is tucked away at the head of a secluded valley, looking down towards the Winter Creek.
Low lines, single story, wide decks, wide steps to the dam for a swim.

The house is self-contained:
a large contemporary lounge with postcard windows that direct your view
a modern timber and stainless steel kitchen
open fire, heating, air conditioning
3 large bedrooms, luxurious Q beds, walk-in shower room for 2, spacious spa tub with a view of the water feature and the dining room.

Sleep, recharge.

Walk down to Lavandula Farm for lunch. All guests receive free entry to Lavandula.

Note: We can only accept a minimum stay of two (2) nights. During public holidays, we have a three night minimum stay with the exception of Easter that has a 4 night minimum.

Lavandula Country House

A great property. The best way to describe the property is, a home away from home. Everything is provided not only from all that you need during your stay. Lavandula Country House also provides the extra. Such as a spa and wildlife. A Kangaroo and her Joey visited us on a daily basis. Beautiful property and a great area. So much to do and see. Thanks Carol for looking after myself and my family during our stay. We are looking forward to visiting again.

A stylish house in a beautiful natural setting

Lavandula Country House is highly recommended as excellent accommodation just a few kilometres out of Hepburn Springs where you can escape the city and embrace nature. Situated in a pretty country setting next to a dam, you can sit out on the decking and feel at peace as you watch the wildlife come and go. The house is tastefully decorated in soft earthy tones. The lounge area has a large comfy couch, log fire, TV and air conditioner. The three bedrooms have very comfortable queen beds. There is a bathroom with a double shower and another bathroom with a very deep spa bath perfect for a relaxing soak. The kitchen is large with dishwasher and all necessary utensils provided. On your arrival you will find on the large kitchen table delicious lavender scones with jam and cream. Be sure to visit Lavandula Country Farm just down the road and enjoy the beautiful gardens and find out about the history of the pioneers who worked hard to provide a living for themselves. You will leave this delightful country house with a feeling of inner peace having enjoyed a truly relaxing stay.

Was overall a lovely quiet place to stay but the owner didn’t realise that we were arriving mid week

There was no firewood or kindling and only 3 matches. We had to call on our bear grills knowledge to get the fire going. No soap or face washers. No light in toilet or spare globes to be found. Very difficult to contact owner of the property. We couldn’t get the oven going and tried to have a spar bath. It took 3 hours for us to get the gas bottles switched to restore supply to the accommodation. The owner arrived quickly once we contacted her. Was a nice stay overall.
