Great cabin and great location

We really enjoyed our stay in Saranac inn. The cabin was exactly what we needed. It was rustic but very comfortable. We loved having access to the kayaks and the swimming beach, and of course the proximity to so many great hiking trail heads and biking trails meant there were too many things to do and not enough time!

Saranac Cabin

We had a very nice stay at this lovely cabin. The kitchen was well stocked. The firepit had kindling . We used the kayaks provided on the beautiful lake

Family cabin perfect for our 2 adults and 3 adult kids. 3 baths and boats made this possible.

Had a terrific 2 week vacation with excellent location and weather to canoe across lake and swim. Easy access to everything from Lake to tours and nearby towns. Enjoyed ability to cook and rest in evenings and lounge and read.. Very comfortable, well maintained, pretty decor. Even made bouquet with wildflowers. Host was just the best with help about area, garage to get tire fixed, and gave us a super stay and welcome.

Overall a wonderful cabin - all amenities were there and the cabin was clean and neat. Beds were all very comfortable. Very cozy atmosphere. One owner stopped by to check in and brought wood for the beautiful stone fireplace and also helped get the TV running. He was friendly and very helpful. A small suggestion for the owners: a few more wall-mounted peg boards for hanging coats, towels etc would be an improvement.

Adirondack Wonderland

The cottage is a lovely Adirondack cabin, which doesn’t disappoint. Its location to Upper Saranac lake is ideal, with the use of 2 kayaks to enjoy. I had the impression that the cabin was directly on the lake from the pictures on the rental, but was mistaken. I should have read the property description more carefully. The cabin is within very close proximity to the other camps.

Great CABIN in the woods

The location is great in that it is roughly 2 minute walk to the lake. Tupper and Saranac are roughly 20 minutes away. Paul Smith’s VIC had great trails for walking. Plenty of canoe rental places near by too. This is a quaint 100 year old cabin. All the materials are wood and stone, and quality. But being 100 years old the utilities (plumbing and electric) are not the same that you would find in a newer place. Everything works and is nice, just wanted to mention the age.

Had a wonderful stay at this cabin,overall it was nice.But definitely need to update bathrooms upsatirs drain for shower was clogged?neighbors were ok but not friendly to renters.Nice location and area beach is walking distance,quiet neighborhood to if your looking for R&R.thanks we enjoyed it mary

Saranac Lake stay

This cottage was ideal for the 3 of us. Although it sleeps 6, there is not living room seating for 6. My husband and I slept in room 2 with twin beds, very comfortable. (We didn’t feel like dragging our luggage up the stairs) Our son slept upstairs in the queen bed, he said it was great. The 3 bathrooms are adequate. We used the fireplace, which was homey and a great addition to the cottage! The lake is a short walk up the street, we were able to kayak and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

House was very efficient for our family trip to a wedding nearby. Each couple had their own bathroom. Kitchen was well-equipped (except for corkscrew!) and very functional for breakfast. Loved the screen-in porch, and comfy living room.

Wish there was an iron tucked away in a closet. More bath towels would've been nice.

Lovely fall getaway

Beautiful property. Just as advertised. Kitchen had everything we needed except a wine opener 😊. We enjoyed walking through the area, shopping and exploring. The welcome packet was very helpful. The owner stopped by when he saw us sitting outside and gave us more recommendations. Would definitely stay again. 5 star!

Sweet escape

The house was a short walk to the water and the lake was beautiful. Nice neighborhood to walk or run and walk the dog in. People were friendly. Home was rustic and nice, screened in patio was great for meals and to play games or just read. We are looking forward to returning at some point, nice week of quality family time in a charming home.

Kitchen is fully equipped and stocked. You could eat all your meals in house but there are so many great restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area. Bedrooms and baths are nicely furnished. Enjoyed sitting on the screened porch and relaxing with a glass of wine. You are close to the main road but would not know it as you are wrapped in a wooded area. Easy walk to the beach area. Very friendly neighborhood.

Waterfront access ≠ waterfront

The cabin is wonderful, but note that it is about 100 m from a very public beach and boat landing. It is not waterfront, but in a dense neighborhood of similar cabins. All aspects of the cabin's interior are nice, but it is not on the water, and the pictures of the water, dock, and boats are misleading.
